What a fun bowling alley!! Lots of lanes and very well maintained with new screens too. Also a cool blacklight mini golf and arcade upstairs. They have a full bar too! The snack bar has pretty tasty food and good prices, we had the burger with fries and chicken strips with fries. I forgot to get pics because I was hungry and it was good! Fun place to spend an entertaining evening for sure!

Friday night Rock & Glow at Windsor Bowl?! Who knew that this was the place to be?! Everyone! Everyone but me, LOL! A friend and I wanted to bowl and started our night at Epicenter. But after circling the packed parking lot many times, we sadly but not surprisingly found out that the bowling wait was 1.5 hours! Epicenter...also the place to be! So we stopped at Windsor Bowl just in time to snag 1 of their 24 lanes. The place was packed! It's a no-frills, old-school, local bowling alley that brings me back to bowling when I was a kid. The lanes (or maybe it's the spaces between them) are narrow so just be mindful of your neighbors, especially if you do a celebratory flail or dance after a strike. Rock & Glow is offered on Friday and Saturday nights only and involves dim overhead lights, neon up lights, and hip music beats! The snack bar sells fountain sodas (note: Pepsi brands), candy, and fast-food snacks (think fries, nachos, pizza). There are a few drink and snack vending machines. And beer is available in the adjoining bar area. $6.75/person/game (after 5pm) + $4.75/person shoe rental + a soda = a cheap night out! I'm sure I'll be back...likely on a Friday or Saturday night again for Rock & Glow. Check it out. I wish you an abundance of turkeys!

We visit Windsor regularly for my Husband's board meetings. Holiday Inn Express is next door. This trip we decided to check out the black light mini golf experience as well as some good bowling alley food. It's upstairs and you pay for the balls for each player and choose a putter. The machine was cool to dispense the balls. We were not disappointed. We had so much fun. There wasn't anyone else there so we had the place to ourselves. The art is really fun. It is sort of archaic animals meets futuristic machines. The music matched that as well. We finished and ordered food. It was tasty bar food and I had no complaints. We went to the arcade after eating and it is small but still fun. One of the machines wasn't working and took our credits so I went to the front desk and they had it fixed immediately and gave us double credit back for the trouble. The ladies in the front were nice and the guy serving the food got it to us really fast. We will definitely visit again.

Hosts were super friendly, just like the last time, so no complaints there at all. Overall, this escape room was much, much better than the Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. It felt much more intuitive, and the clues were written clearly, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was in the second room, during the part where you use the dowsing rods to find the letters on the wall which are needed to open the safe. We weren't able to get any readings from the dowsing rods, we weren't sure if the magnets were not strong enough or if something else was affecting it. We ended up calling the host for help, and she was very nice and helpful. She gave us a hint about using a specific word on the metal board, and we immediately understood which five-letter word she meant. That hint worked perfectly for us. Other than that one part, we had a great experience and enjoyed the escape room!

They have a good array of arcade games - we are partial to Jurassic Park though it always has a line, skee ball, basketball, the frogger clone game, the harpoon game - as well as things like trampolines (extra cost), the playground (a ball spill thingy, slides, 3 levels, a zip line, etc - also extra cost. We enjoy bowling during football games so we can watch and bowl and get boneless wings from victory house (and sometimes Bloody Marys). I've also come to watch friends play soccer at their different indoor courts. Only downside - it feels a bit like a germ fest. Lots of hand sanitizer and now I feel like I need to take some elderberry.

Truthfully, this place doesn't quite feel the same to me as it did before the pandemic, but I'll always have a soft spot for it because the fam still has so much fun here--even if the wait times can be wild and the staff seems stretched thin. It's loud and chaotic, exactly what you'd expect from an arcade. I'd mainly come for the games and karaoke, though. If bowling is your priority, I'd head to Clayton Valley instead because the lanes here are on Ozempic, they're hella small. Also, AC desperately needs fixing. It's like a boiler room on one side and less hot in other places. I can't imagine working in that heat tbh.

They still have a decent variety of arcade games, and there's enough to keep you entertained for a few hours. One of the biggest draws back then was the claw machines. It felt like you actually had a fair chance of winning prizes. These days, they seem much harder to win unless you're a claw machine expert. Another issue is the food area. Every time I've visited, it seems a bit dirty and could definitely use more attention. It takes away from the overall experience, especially if you're planning to grab a bite while you're there. On a positive note, the beverage selection is pretty good, and there are plenty of drink options to choose from. Overall, I'd give this location a 2/5. It still has some fun games, but the atmosphere and maintenance don't feel like they used to. I hope they invest a little more into the customer experience because this place has the potential to be much better.

It doesn't seem like the lanes are ever maintained unless it's for league. Incredibly dry every time and even at noon on a Monday, the cosmic lights are on. So it's very dark other than the glare from the tvs on the back wall. Not to mention, the lanes are VERY rough on the balls. I come here because it's close and that's convenient but this isn't a place you want to use a ball you care about. My last two brand new balls have been shredded during the first game. I mean multiple, deep gashes and scabs everywhere. Other alleys that have pro shops have offered to buff what they can out for free when the ball is brand new, but not at this location. But, the pro shop could be its own entity, I don't really know. All in all, I'll keep coming here. But they really, really need to consider oiling *every lane, everyday* and hire someone who can figure out how to actually fix and maintain the lanes, not just hit a reset button. I've tried playing during their "unlimited" specials and more often than not, most of that time is spent trying to get the pins to reset and the computer to keep the right score. And maybe offer some kind of compensation when that happens.
