Bowlero Vacaville has become one of my fiancé and I's go to spots to hang out. It's a big space, which makes it great whether you're planning a party or just coming with a couple friends. There's bowling, a good-sized arcade, laser tag, pool tables, a full restaurant, and a bar. Definitely plenty options without feeling too crowded. Even on league nights (Wednesdays), they keep some lanes open for the public. You can also reserve a lane online ahead of time, which makes things way easier. The bar area is always a chill spot. A lot of days we'll come in just to stop by the bar. There are multiple TV's, and plenty of space to sit and relax, even pool tables. And the bars always clean which is nice. Ashley, one of the bartenders, is the best. Super friendly, welcoming, and always on top of things, even when it gets busy. She is actually the reason we come by a lot. After our first visit and interacting with her as or bartender, this has become a go to spot. She's recommended drinks and menu items we wouldn't have thought to try. She's very fast while being efficient. Weekends have a really fun vibe with good music and energy, but it's also nice and mellow if you come in during the week. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of retro charm and modern style, making it a cool spot for all ages. Speaking of the bar--it's massive and well-stocked, perfect for the adults to unwind while the kids play. Tons of TVs throughout the venue make it easy to catch a game while enjoying the fun. I've been here twice all within a month. First visit, we used a Groupon which was an awesome deal. During the day and time we visited which was on a Thursday midday the crowds were minimal. I didn't play but my hubby and daughter did and they very much enjoyed it. Of course, you can also buy food, drinks and alcohol. They also have an arcade and billiards. The bowling alley is huge and it looks like it has been renovated and it's looks great. If you're thinking about becoming a frequent bowler it's best to get their season pass and if you hardly bowl finding the Groupon deal is best but if there isn't one you'll be paying way more to purchase it in person or online. Another day we went was on a Friday night. When you come in there is a metal detector and also there is a waitlist to get a lane unless you made a reservation online. They ask for your phone number and name and you'll receive a text telling you head to the check in area. They cannot hold on to your spot for that long so they call on the next party on the waitlist if don't show up within five mins. They tell you this beforehand. Of course, this isn't always the case...it was a very busy night so it's understandable. Overall, we enjoyed it. And will definitely come back for sure. read more

They never have open lanes, i have gone down to the bowling alley 8 times and have only been able to bowl 2 twice. They dont answer the phone to make a reservation or if you need to ask a question. It is extremely over priced to bowl as well. Would not recommend to anyone. Find a different bowling alley to bowl at that is cheaper and has more availability to bowl read more

So let me say this place has done a complete 180! After the change from Stars to Bowlero it suffered for a long time with very poor service and disorganization overall. Well this was my second experience here in the last three months and both times were excellent experiences! Definitely use their awesome online reserve a lane feature it makes things SOOO convenient! Everyone there has been friendly and helpful. Keilani (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was our waitress tonight and she was amazing! I'm not sure who was working the front desk but it was 4/12 between 6:30-8:30 they were both fantastic and very customer forward! I didn't take pics of the arcade but that's super fun too. Everything on the menu "not available". Do you have a new menu? No. There's nachos with plastic cheese, chips for the spinach dip and tacos with shredded cheddar. Customer service sucks even before entering the facility. We just moved to the area and my daughter and her friends wanted to go bowling. I was able to book online while I was at work. "AFTER" booking i receive an email stating to bowl you need a physical credit card and id. I paid through Apple Pay. I emailed Bowlero, Katherine Belisle responded rudely that my daughter and friends couldn't bowl without my cc and id It's fine that they have this rule, but it should be stated before booking. I then asked for a refund cause Katherine Belisle was so rude in her emails. I sent my daughter funds so she can pay with Apple Pay So she is paying in person Bowler still refused her and her friends to play because of not having a CC and ID. Very bad customer service. Woah! Talk about nostalgia. I hadn't been to this location since they changed it from Stars to Bowlero. Overall the remodel inside is super cute, but it has horrible ventilation. There's a stale chemical smell that lingers inside. Customer service was just okay. We came on a Thursday night to try out the arcade since there was a Groupon deal. There was no one working in the arcade so we had to walk back to their customer service desk for bowling to get the arcade card. Although the arcade is small my family and I still enjoyed the games they had to offer. Winning tickets was relatively easy, but when it came time to redeem them the person at the bowling counter said the only person who could help with prize redemption was on break and wouldn't be able to help for another 30 minutes which was a bummer. Would still come back for the arcade sometime if we happen to be in the area, but wouldn't go out of our way to visit it. read more

My wife and I took my daughter here to play on the arcade. When we got there there wasn't anyone available on the arcade area and the self serve kiosks for the arcade weren't working. I went up to the front desk and Daniel helped us out and was really kind to us and even threw in a couple of extra game credits on the house. He was very kind, helpful and generous. When we're ready to redeem tickets for prizes again no one was immediately available at the counter and Daniel once again was kind enough to help us and bring his manager over to help us. Last time we were here two weeks ago and our ball kept getting stuck. We had to ask someone 3 times! Today we waited over 10 mins in line because only 4 people are working. The first lane the screen was working so we switched. Then the bumpers weren't working on the other one. We switched again and still not working. What a waste of a summer pass! I brought 8 kiddos to the alley today, last minute Groupon. We were able to play first game but due to scheduling issues we were unable to continue the 2nd game. Don't know when Bowlero took over Stars, but it was a much needed update. Came here with a large group with a Groupon, about $14 per person for 2 hours & included shoes. We ordered food which was surprisingly pretty good for bowling alley food. Prices outside of Groupon I heard are pricey. Also, we went on a weekday before 5pm so we were able to get a lane right away. But my cousins went on a Saturday & there was a league? The wait was minimum 2 hours so they left. I recommend reserving a lane ahead of time which you can do through their website. With the wait times & the prices, I don't know that I'd be a regular here. The equipment also seems newer compared to the first Bowlero I visited in Riverside. The regulars here are very welcoming to new people and it just has a good vibe compared to other centers I've been to. This is for Mr. Mike the best bartender I've ever interacted with. He's very attentive, super quick and drinks are spot on. He makes you feel welcome by having short convos. We always look for him when we come here. When we come with out our kids we like to enjoy some great drinks and when we come with our kids we definitely need some drinks lol. We had a family and friends Friday night at Bowlero and had so much fun. We hadn't been since they remodeled a couple years ago and once Blake helped us get checked in on our lane, we checked out the new bar and our bartender Andrew was super helpful in suggesting some different menu items and he was very kind making sure we enjoyed the drinks before we left the bar to bowl. We like the booth style seating and even made friends with the group on the lane next to us which made it a more fun and interactive experience. It's a great place and has a lot of potential. I think the issue is just not enough staff to run the counter. But the staff is nice but they can be stretch out so far with the amount of people waiting to be helped. It's nice they started giving $5 play cards for the arcade while we wait on the wait list for lanes to keep the kids entertained while we waited. We like the atmosphere, the fact they have food and bar is great. But wish there was staff to service food from the lanes. Gotta call ahead to figure out what days are leagues playing or else there's gonna be a wait for lanes. The Manager Marsh is always working hard. She is always cleaning up at night, doing the front desk. She is super nice friendly and She is always going above her job to make sure you feel like family. I see her working hard at night with little to no help. If it wasn't for her and Daniel running the front desk this place would go to shit. Horrible customer service from the lady that was working the counter today 2/20 around 12:30 pm , I didn't get her name but she was Caucasian , she was super rude . We were waiting there for assistance and after waiting for a few minutes she finally acknowledged us and asks "can I help you?" I said yes bowling , she responded with "we are busy until 3:30pm" no eye contact , not trying to help at all so we just left the place . I love the Bowlero. Visiting family went with us. Thank you for the suggestion S.! Clean area different types of food. We ordered a sample platter and pizza. The sodas were good as well. They ordered an alcoholic drink that came in a "fishbowl". I can't tell you if it was good as I don't drink alcoholic beverages. The prices are more than fair. There is an arcade here too! -1 star for the rest facilities. I bowled 1 game. I got a strike a few times! I had so much fun. It was fun watching the family bowl. Very competitive! The DJ was good. We came for a birthday party. They were on top of it during check in. They had the area set up ready for kids and were ready to get shoes for any child there early (not too early but a little) which is great! The pizzas came out and hour before they were asked to be brought. The drinks (adult) ordered took a very long time to get they took all the pitchers of soft drinks to the back to be refilled but didn't tell us that they were doing so. We saw them load all of our pitchers on the cart and leave. Just a suggestion here, because having full drinks is always super appreciated, put the full Pitchers on the cart then just take the old one off the counter and replace it at the same time with the full one. There was a horrible smell behind lanes 3&4 by the arcade. It smelled of poop. Like actual feces. I'm guessing there is a sewage leak in the little room in that area. All the kids had a great time bowling and in the arcade. The young man at the prize counter was absolutely fantastic. He never rushed any child and still seemed to keep the line short. Why am I paying $113 for 4 players for 3 games (only one pair of shoes needed)... lanes weren't oiled, approach was sticky, there's plenty of lanes available and we get put right next to someone. The woman that helped us was rude - seemed like she hated working there. I had two league bowlers that are supposed to get 2 free games and she didn't honor that because their numbers weren't in the system and was told to speak to their secretary about the miss. There's nothing redeemable about this place. I would go literally anywhere else. They're probably able to charge whatever they want because there's not many options to bowl. Find something better to do. This place isn't worth any penny. Maybe if their employees were nicer it'd actually be a tad better. Maybe 2 stars. Stars was better. I've been bowling a few times, with so many kids it can be so hard to manage the chaos. However Ralph on 3 different occasions has helped whether it was saying hey I saw one of your kids running this way or that way. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He's kind, helpful and caring. I've noticed that of the other employees are the exact same way! Justin who helped me was ! and I'm sure it's because attitude reflects leadership and that's why they are all so helpful and kind . It took us 3-4 separate tries/visits to finally be able to go bowling without a reservation. Usually there seems to be a long wait especially on a Friday/Saturday night. All the times we left the wait was easily 1 or 2 hours. Pros: Major updates from when it was Stars. The seating, the screens, the bowling screens and animations all look so much more modern. The bowling alley looks pretty clean. The arcade is about what you'd find at Dave and Busters. I think those games got a little update as well. Cons: Very expensive. For two people with shoe rental one game (~30 min) was about $40. Base price is $8 per person per game on a Saturday. Previously I had looked into an online reservation a few months ago. The reservation forced you to purchase something like $50 in food credits. That's a hard no from me. Not sure if that's still true. Currently there is a Groupon offer for 2 guests 2 hours of bowling with shoe rental for $36. That may be more worthwhile although another review says you can't make reservations with Groupons. Overall it's okay. It's more modern now but expensive and it's hard to find a time when they have open lanes. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again knowing there's a good chance of not being able to play in a timely fashion. There aren't many bowling alleys nearby so there's a decent chance we'll be back due to lack of options and wanting to go bowling. read more

We had such a great experience at Bowlero! We haven't been bowling in quite a while... in fact it has been so long that when we went last time it was still Stars! The alley has such a nice fun look and feel to it, I would definatley recommend that families come check it out if they haven't been in a while. It would be a fun date night outing also! While we were there we wanted to try a little bit of everything so we bowled a game, went to the bar for a cocktail, played some arcade games and even enjoyed a round of laser tag. Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon! I noticed on the way out that Bowlero is promoting a summer bowling pass for kids- I'm going to check that out for sure. A much needed update! Used to come here growing up and love how it's been updated. No more plastic swivel chairs, there's big screen tv above the lanes, and food and beverage menus located at the small tables where you bowl. Nothing drastic - just needed to keep up with the times. read more
