Friday night Rock & Glow at Windsor Bowl?! Who knew that this was the place to be?! Everyone! Everyone but me, LOL! A friend and I wanted to bowl and started our night at Epicenter. But after circling the packed parking lot many times, we sadly but not surprisingly found out that the bowling wait was 1.5 hours! Epicenter...also the place to be! So we stopped at Windsor Bowl just in time to snag 1 of their 24 lanes. The place was packed! It's a no-frills, old-school, local bowling alley that brings me back to bowling when I was a kid. The lanes (or maybe it's the spaces between them) are narrow so just be mindful of your neighbors, especially if you do a celebratory flail or dance after a strike. Rock & Glow is offered on Friday and Saturday nights only and involves dim overhead lights, neon up lights, and hip music beats! The snack bar sells fountain sodas (note: Pepsi brands), candy, and fast-food snacks (think fries, nachos, pizza). There are a few drink and snack vending machines. And beer is available in the adjoining bar area. $6.75/person/game (after 5pm) + $4.75/person shoe rental + a soda = a cheap night out! I'm sure I'll be back...likely on a Friday or Saturday night again for Rock & Glow. Check it out. I wish you an abundance of turkeys!

We visit Windsor regularly for my Husband's board meetings. Holiday Inn Express is next door. This trip we decided to check out the black light mini golf experience as well as some good bowling alley food. It's upstairs and you pay for the balls for each player and choose a putter. The machine was cool to dispense the balls. We were not disappointed. We had so much fun. There wasn't anyone else there so we had the place to ourselves. The art is really fun. It is sort of archaic animals meets futuristic machines. The music matched that as well. We finished and ordered food. It was tasty bar food and I had no complaints. We went to the arcade after eating and it is small but still fun. One of the machines wasn't working and took our credits so I went to the front desk and they had it fixed immediately and gave us double credit back for the trouble. The ladies in the front were nice and the guy serving the food got it to us really fast. We will definitely visit again.

Boy does this place suck!! Talk about a poor excuse for a bowling alley. Too small, too old and the lanes are crappy.

It's a small town bowling alley. It serves it's purpose and it certainly isn't pretty but they play Boston's 'more than a feeling'........

Our go-to bowling alley in Sonoma County. Low-key, easy going place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices.

Hosts were super friendly, just like the last time, so no complaints there at all. Overall, this escape room was much, much better than the Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. It felt much more intuitive, and the clues were written clearly, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was in the second room, during the part where you use the dowsing rods to find the letters on the wall which are needed to open the safe. We weren't able to get any readings from the dowsing rods, we weren't sure if the magnets were not strong enough or if something else was affecting it. We ended up calling the host for help, and she was very nice and helpful. She gave us a hint about using a specific word on the metal board, and we immediately understood which five-letter word she meant. That hint worked perfectly for us. Other than that one part, we had a great experience and enjoyed the escape room!

They have a good array of arcade games - we are partial to Jurassic Park though it always has a line, skee ball, basketball, the frogger clone game, the harpoon game - as well as things like trampolines (extra cost), the playground (a ball spill thingy, slides, 3 levels, a zip line, etc - also extra cost. We enjoy bowling during football games so we can watch and bowl and get boneless wings from victory house (and sometimes Bloody Marys). I've also come to watch friends play soccer at their different indoor courts. Only downside - it feels a bit like a germ fest. Lots of hand sanitizer and now I feel like I need to take some elderberry.

There's bowling, a good-sized arcade, laser tag, pool tables, a full restaurant, and a bar. Definitely plenty options without feeling too crowded. Even on league nights (Wednesdays), they keep some lanes open for the public. You can also reserve a lane online ahead of time, which makes things way easier. The bar area is always a chill spot. A lot of days we'll come in just to stop by the bar. There are multiple TV's, and plenty of space to sit and relax, even pool tables. And the bars always clean which is nice. Ashley, one of the bartenders, is the best. Super friendly, welcoming, and always on top of things, even when it gets busy. She is actually the reason we come by a lot. After our first visit and interacting with her as or bartender, this has become a go to spot. She's recommended drinks and menu items we wouldn't have thought to try. She's very fast while being efficient. Weekends have a really fun vibe with good music and energy, but it's also nice and mellow if you come in during the week. It's just an easy place to kick back, grab a drink, play some games, and have a good time. Definitely recommend :)

The atmosphere is the perfect mix of retro charm and modern style, making it a cool spot for all ages. Beyond the bowling, there's a huge arcade, delicious food, and even a billiards section tucked away by the bar. Speaking of the bar--it's massive and well-stocked, perfect for the adults to unwind while the kids play. Tons of TVs throughout the venue make it easy to catch a game while enjoying the fun. Everything is very clean, including the bathrooms (which are conveniently located on opposite ends of the building). The staff was friendly and helpful, and prices were very reasonable for everything they offer. With a huge parking lot, tons of activities, and a welcoming vibe, this place is perfect for family outings, friend hangouts, or even casual parties. Highly recommend!

I'm really disappointed to hear that this bowling center is being rebranded as Lucky Strike…read more What bothers me most is the apparent double standard. AMF is still being used as a bowling-center brand at other locations, so why does this particular center have to lose its AMF identity? If the AMF brand is still good enough for other bowling centers, why can't this location remain AMF? For longtime customers and bowlers, AMF isn't just a name on a sign. It's part of the identity and history of the bowling center. Turning it into Lucky Strike feels like another step toward making every bowling center look and feel like the same corporate entertainment venue. Not everyone wants a flashy entertainment complex. Some of us just want to walk into our local bowling alley, bowl a few games, see familiar faces, and enjoy the place we've been going to for years. I sincerely hope the people making this decision reconsider. Let this place stay AMF.

Making a booking in advance did not seem to make much difference. The bowling alley was extremely packed, which made the atmosphere feel crowded and unorganized rather than enjoyable. The biggest issue was the lack of assistance. No one seemed available to explain the delay, help us understand when a lane might open, or offer another solution. I understand that bowling alleys can get busy, especially during popular hours, but a wait of more than two hours after booking ahead was unreasonable. Better communication, more attentive service, and a more reliable booking system would have made a major difference. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I would hesitate to return during a busy period.
