Dirty fries and chicken tenders and fries
Shelli R.

What a great surprise finding this little hidden treat! This place has a TON of pool tables, even 2 old school coin-op tables, air hockey, Foosball, darts and a REAL SHUFFLEBOARD!!! They jukebox was playing some tunes and they have a great selection of beers on tap. I ordered the dirty fries and a modelo, hubs got the 5pc chicken tenders with fries and an 805. So good! The dirty fries were topped with pico de gallo, cheese sauce, jalapenos, onions, sour cream all on top of a batch of fries. Then the tenders come with different fries, they have a coating or seasoning on them? Yum. They also have good ranch, very herby. The people running the place were so nice, then the owners came over to say hi too. Super friendly and welcoming, we'll be back!!!

Nice location half way down river to have a picnic lunch. No parking on site but available at park across the street ($12) or free parking across the bridge. Of the 4 kayaks we used only 1 had the connections for tie downs and a single rope to tie down our cooler. Take plenty of sunscreen since there is no way to avoid the sun for about 3 hours. The suggestion to take dry clothes for after the trip was appreciated. No way you can get away from getting wet.

We got to the meeting point early so we hung out. Workers were friendly. They quickly briefed us on the route and what to expect. Then we boarded the shuttle that dropped us off 5 miles up the river. We took a 30 min lunch break but the rest of the time I was paddling for about 3.5 hours! 5 miles doesn't seem like a long distance as I can run it in under an hour but this took us a long time! We were all relieved when we finally spotted the bridge around the bend and knew we had arrived back at the starting point! Plenty of parking in front street or across the street at memorial park.

This is run by a lovely, local couple who almost felt like family in the short time we were there. They boosted the confidence of my son with reassurance and also took the time to help us get back to our vehicle after it unexpectedly broke down on our way to the river. Just wanted to say they are really good people. They also gave us great guidance to navigate the river with quality equipment!

Can't think of anything negative about this place to be honest.
