Windsor Town Green Park has a lot of charm and is such a great place to visit for a lot of different reasons. Shops, restaurants, and wineries surround the town green. This area has live music at times and events. The Town Green is both dog friendly and family friendly. It's a great place to stroll around and check out the shops, have a great meal, or taste some amazing wines. We have been to several restaurants and wineries on the Town Green and we love them all! More events are coming back to the Town Green now that covid restrictions have lifted that I am really looking forward to attending as well as the Farmer's Market on Sundays.

Band is playing! Everyone is dancing!!

Another great night of music with Maya, Latin Roots tribute band. Everyone is up on the dance floor. The lead singers voice is hitting all the notes!

Windsor is slowly but surely coming in to their own as a shopping and dining destination in Sonoma County. It's more down to earth than Healdsburg and their Town Green is the center of it all. The park has plenty of parking surrounding it. With restaurants, wine bars and shops nearby, it's a great destination as part of a day in wine country. During the holidays, the park really shines, so to speak when it becomes bedazzled with the Charlie Brown Christmas tree grove. The park is lined with themed trees decorated by community businesses and clubs. At night it's beautifully lit up with fake snow, a large tree and all of the community trees sparkling along the square. I've made a point to visit the square the last two holidays and it was a fun later afternoon, early evening of walking the park and enjoying nearby local businesses.

This is just a few of what we saw. There were lots of Cherry Blossom trees!!

Lots of Cherry Blossoms in here!! This park is located right across the Old Downtown Windsor, which is why it was easy for us to check out this place. The Hubby & Me saw the park when we were grabbing our lunch at one of the restaurants located in the very same downtown. Caught sight of many Beautiful Cherry Blossom trees and the next thing we wanted to do was to take home as many photos as we can, who wanna miss this great chance?!? Happily added these to our spring time memories for this year. It was nice to see people enjoying their early Sunday evening, engaging their kids in the large play area, relaxing well with their friends or family members and saw some of them walking their pets, assuring that it's pet-friendly too. For sure this park provides a good outdoor recreation for many. It is indeed spacious and big, has lot of picnic tables, I must say that the Windsor residents are very fortunate to have this community park in the heart of their town. Weather was perfect the other day, bringing more attention to the grassy, neat and well maintained park. Spent only a little of our time here, but liked this place a lot. Windsor Town Green Park certainly has great potential to host events, activities/ exercises and of course, have fun!!

Came here on a Wednesday evening. We walked to downtown Windsor from our hotel. Purpose was to stretch our legs after a long drive and to get a snack. We came upon this park, and I was drawn right away to a statue of Snoopy. It was very colorful and cool! As for the park itself, that early evening was very peaceful and quiet. There are benches for relaxing and a play area for the kids. We did not explore the park after taking our pictures with Snoopy so I cannot recall any more details. Check it out if you are in downtown Windsor. It is right across the street from many of the shops and restaurants.

Love the new playground! This was the only place that I felt the Town Green was lacking in the past because the old playground was not good at all. This new structure is awesome with a side for the bigger kids and also for the smaller ones. Nice cushioned ground also to help minimize injuries. The library has an awesome story-time on Wednesday mornings so you can make a lovely day of it with your little ones since the library is right next door. Great restaurants and seasonal events here as well.

I'm enjoying this Summer evening at "Summer Nights on the Green" in Windsor with friends, Indian food, dancing, and MUSIC!!!

It's a pretty location to hear local bands and grab some street fair foods. It is not ideal for people who actually want to purchase produce from farmers.

Windsor's Town Green is pretty magical in December. Lights and trees galore!

Downtown Windsor is the BEST for families. Huge grassy area to play and a play structure for small kids and one for bigger kids. The city has plans to update the play structures and add shade which is needed, can't wait for that. What's cool about this park is everything that is surrounding it - all of the Town Green shops (Noto's organic coffee, local toy store, many restaurants, wine and beer tasting rooms, etc.) as well as the library and Herta Gym. Finally a downtown that's for the local families and not the tourists. Plus, many events held here. Check out the farmer's markets!

At the farmers market that happens here on Sunday's- every Sunday May to November m. I am not really sure. It's nice with a lot of local products. Only downside (or upside depending on your Leaning) is that dogs are not allowed.

Where the water and trees welcome you with serenity. Come walk the dog, ride your horse, bring your kayak, bring your fishing pole, bring a blanket, have a BBQ in the group picnic area and more. A safe place for children but please always watch them around any body of water. Just on the outskirts of Santa Rosa, Riverfront welcomes you with all of its glory. The trails around the lake a extra wide and flat. Easy for a wheelchair to go round. This is one of my regular spots to escape and intake the beauty of nature. I highly recommend just buying a parking pass to support the parks. If you visit a regional park once a month, it pays for itself.

A few benches along the route enable a rest if you're out of shape offer nice views of the lake. Dogs on leash OK -- just pick up after your pet (I only wish equestrians on the trail had the same courtesy, so watch your step!). There's also a picnic area at the trail head, and bathrooms are nearby. There is a day fee for parking, but if you're a local, pick up an annual pass -- it will pay for itself in a few visits.

Each visit feels a little different depending on the season. It is especially beautiful after it rains. On Creekside Trail you can hear the water flowing, which makes the hike incredibly peaceful. There is also a scenic spot at the top that is well worth the climb and offers a great place to pause and take it all in. I would consider this a moderate hike due to the incline. The descent can be challenging in some areas because it is steep and rocky, so I highly suggest wearing proper hiking shoes. The trails offer a variety of terrain and along the way you can spot many different species of mushrooms, which adds to the experience if you enjoy nature observation. The park is easy to access, not overly crowded, and it closes at sunset. Overall it is one of my favorite places to hike in the area and a great option if you want a scenic, peaceful hike with a bit of a challenge. Highly recommend.

Alternatively, we brought with us an inflatable kayak pump for our kayak, and a "Compressed Air Duster" (Amazon: https://a.co/d/bMSSmrV) which blew up 4 huge tubes with headrests in under 10 minutes! We put that in our dry bag, and were happy to have the kayak pump to deflate everything quickly at the end of our trip.
