I'd never been to a D and B's before coming to this one. I loved it! The arcade is so much fun! Big tvs showing live games, great greasy, comforting food on the menu! Great place to bring the family on a Friday or weekend night. It's loud, so don't expect a quiet experience. We came in with 5 adults and 3 kids, ready for a great night, but instead, we got a comedy of errors--minus the comedy. The "Service" Timeline The Accidental Appetizer: Started with the wrong dish. We kept it because we were hungry, but it was an omen of things to come. The Solo Child Diner: One kid's burger arrived... followed several minutes later by the appetizers. If you've ever sat with two hungry children watching a third child eat in silence, you know that's not dinner; it's a hostage situation. The Salad Saga: Two salads were botched. By the time they were corrected 10 minutes later, the kids were basically gnawing on the table legs. The Fungi Surprise: A guest found a mushroom in his burger (he hates them). That's a $20 burger straight into the trash. The Main Event: Ricardo The real "star" of the night was the manager, Ricardo. When he finally approached the table, I expected a professional apology. Instead, I got a TED Talk on excuses. Ricardo, let's be clear: You are responsible for the guest experience, yet you showed zero accountability for the slow service or the string of incorrect orders. I pointed out your lack of ownership in the moment, and you met me with a shrug. You couldn't even manage a simple, "I'm sorry, how can I fix this?" That isn't just bad service; it's a failure of leadership. The Verdict I still paid the full bill and tipped the staff well, because we live in a brutally expensive county and I believe in people's right to survive. But the value-to-frustration ratio here is off the charts. Even the standing bar service was a struggle; the gentleman behind the wood seemingly cannot talk and pour at the same time, and he really likes to talk. The Bottom Line: We'll be back for the arcade, but we'll be eating elsewhere first. Management matters, and right now, the only thing Ricardo is managing is the art of the excuse. read more

We happened in with our teen granddaughter while visiting the mall and had a blast! Lots of bang for our buck with the games. Good variety and immaculately clean. We stayed for dinner and I enjoyed the salmon, hubby had the sweet pecan salad with chicken and our granddaughter had the pretzel dog apps - all were yummy. Great drinks, great service, lively vibe and screens everywhere. Go and support this new business. We need places like this in SR where teens, young adults and families can go and have good, clean fun! read more

OK, so if you're going here for the arcade, I think it's worth it. We were able to get 90 minutes for 60 bucks and we played as many games as we wanted. There is a limit of 1500 points but personally, I felt like it was worth it because it could be a lot of play without worrying about not having enough coins. The restaurant still needs work. Unfortunately, we signed up on their waitlist. They told us it was a 15 minute wait, 25 minutes passed and then we had to go up there again and inquire since people who came after us were getting seated before us. I don't think the person at the front really knew how to work their system or send a text out which is the way they normally do it when your table is ready. However, once we stood back in line, someone else came to the front and was nice enough to get us a table. I got their pasta with shrimp and steak, the steak was really good and well seasoned however, the actual pasta sauce was not my favorite. I did try the barbecue burger, and the burger was really good. The nachos were also really good and the guacamole was definitely fresh and you can tell they just made it. We also got the strawberry lemonade. That was also pretty good as well. The server we got was very nice. She was very attentive. I will say that it took them a while for the food to come out. We did happen to go on a Friday and it was very busy. Also, our appetizer came out at the same time as our food, which was a little unexpected. Normally, you get the appetizer first and then later on the food. The place is booming. There's ample seating. And they have a full bar area as well as happy hour. I guess I had to go with a happy medium and drop a 3 star. Food and service could have been better. Games were good. We stopped in for a bite and check out the arcade area. Let's start with drinks. A family member went a couple weeks back and there was an issue with not having many of the beers available. Okay, they were recently open. I'd have given them a pass. Today, I attempted to order a certain draft beer. Not available. Second option wasn't available either. I did get my third option, but wasn't overly happy. No local beers either, which is a shame. I did order a burger with the "Eat & Play" combo so we could use the card for the arcade after. The burger was just okay. No flavor whatsoever. To be honest, I had low expectations for the food, so I guess they were what I expected. When we had finished and our server was MIA. It took some time to see him again. We just sat there, listened to the loud music and watched the many TV's in the restaurant area. The restaurant area is quite impressive. Hey!! Our server walked by. Finally, wrapped up the bill and we were ready to use our card we received with the meal. It was crowded. Many of the games we were interested in had a wait. Okay, rainy Sunday afternoon. I get it. We found a few games to play The games seemed to range from 6-10 tokens per play. Some games took a mere seconds to play (that wasn't fun), while some you feel like you got your money's worth. I guess we'll have to go back. I still have credit on my card. Maybe skip the food. Maybe they'll get their beer situation figured out. It'd be great to get some local beers, but being a nation wide company...I'm sure they're limited to what they can do in that regard. Dave and busters still has A-LOT of kinks to work out. We went in for lunch and were the only table full in the restaurant except for two people at the bar. We ordered the Thursday wing special with fries and a side salad. The wings came out about 20 min later and were not hot. Luke warm at best. I did like the taste of the food though I will add. We waited on the side salad for another 10 min while we could see people in the kitchen just standing around talking. We eventually just cancelled the salad. Sodas are $5 and never once did we get offered a refill. The staff is very young and could use some support to help better run the restaurant. Hostess Hailey was helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu and our sever was a very nice kid!! I'll bring the grandkids back eventually but will wait till they get things figured out read more

Santa Rosa and the Plaza needed a place like Dave & Busters where families can hang out, adults can have drinks, food, watch sports while the kids play! It's super family friendly but has something for all ages. Since we don't have any kids, it's still fun to have date night with my hubby, have some dinner and play some games. We were greeted right away upon entering Friday night. We were seated right away, given menus. I ordered the fish & chips with a side of shrimp and my hubby ordered some mini sliders. The music was a bit loud but maybe I'm just getting old! My teenaged self would laugh and kick my butt for saying that if she would see me now! The food was delicious, great service. We bought a $25 game play card from our server. (It's reloadable and if you win tickets, it gets added on there as well). I love carnival games so that's what we did. A bit of ring toss, Neon Bowling (my favorite!) and Go Fishing! Tons of games, VR, Racing, Shooter, Sports. They have a picture booth if you just wanna take pictures! Private room for parties. Tons of prizes you can win. Seriously this town needed Dave & Busters and I'm so glad they're here! Super fun and would definitely come back to hang out. read more

Glad to see Dave & Buster's open here, it's great to have a fun place where people of all ages can gather similar to epicenter. That said, the music was SO loud we were yelling at each other and at our server and still couldn't hear (my Apple Watch popped up a notification about hearing damage). Service was also very slow, about an hour for drinks, another hour for food, and a long wait for the bill. Staff was very kind, but the experience felt really chaotic. Really good overall. The restaurant check-in being at the front door was my initial impression. It took about 10 minutes of standing there to get a table, no biggie!!!! However the plethora of cigarette and weed smoke coming in from outside made it kinda awful. While eating, the bus boy cleaning the tables behind us was spraying what smelled like windex on the tables and that was nauseating. Oops! Service excellent! Arcade is awesome, but main menu food was so bland we didn't take the leftovers home. For the five of us with tip it cost us around $230 and that was with my veteran discount. My suggestion is to go with appetizers and desserts--those were tasty. Service was good. First timers to any Dave & Busters and we enjoyed it. We came in at 5 pm on a Monday night with a group of 5. Waited a few minutes to be seated, but that was fine. Our server was a nice young man on the job his third week. He did have some trouble with the questions asked about the happy hour drinks, but he went and asked someone and came right back with our answer. Makes sense as he wasn't 21 and the place hasn't been open very long. Ordered a calamari appetizer for our group and it was out right away. Our main courses came pretty quick and all of the food was surprisingly tasty for a chain restaurant. Two steak dinners (I know who orders steak at an arcade?), one burger, one pasta and one chicken fingers. Then we had dessert. 5 stars for the Funnel Cake Fries! Plenty for our group to share. Only real complaint was there were 5 undercooked/rubbery pieces of bacon on a burger and that was a bit much and kind of gross, so the guest didn't eat it. We ordered the meal/arcade ticket deals, so our total tab was a bit pricey. After dinner we moved on to games. Place still wasn't crowded at that time, so we enjoyed every game without having to wait. Yes, it is noisy, but it is a large warehouse style space with TV's showing sports, music piped in and arcade games playing music. read more

Ok. So I know it's all about kids, video games, TVs and fun, but we went today, two adults and two kids. The games are fun, the prices are good, the food was as expected, but the NOISE! The music was so loud we literally had to scream at each other to talk, and we had to scream at the poor waitress to place an order. It was obnoxious!!! We had to leave because it was just too much. Our friend is a huge fan of this chain. We took advantage of the first 100 in the door to receive a free loaded game card. It's loud so everyone should consider earplugs, especially the kids. There was a mom with a tiny baby and all I could think about is her tiny little eardrums. I'm not saying it's not fun though and the music is great. We ordered lunch and loved the fries in particular. The menu is extensive so it shouldn't be too hard to find something for everyone in your group. My husband was the very first one to ride on the Human Claw. It's like the tiny claw that you see that comes down and allows you to pick up a trinket with the claw. Well, with this you are strapped in and hover above a bunch of inflatables. It was hilarious and lots of fun for everybody. We will probably go back and play some of the games. There are some amazing booths, and animations that are so lifelike. You could spend an entire day here as long as you have unlimited cash flow, ha ha ha. read more

The cocktails came out with in minutes the manager came by and said they were running a little behind and added 15 tokens to play games they kept coming by and getting us new cocktails which all came with in minutes. After waiting an hour for our appetizer we were told that it wasn't coming. Then 15 mins later our food came out mine was bone cold as was my girl friends. my food was correct and hers was incorrect. He checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed and made the whole experience even more fun. Games were fun. My only feedback would be the dining area. I see other reviews where they didn't have beer choices available.. When everything is out, they should charge half the price of what ever beer you're cornered to get because there's nothing else.. or at least a cocktail the price of a beer? We spent $80 on 3 beers, a high noon, fries and nachos.. It's why we never eat out anymore. We just wanted a beer and a snack and it was an expensive annoying experience. Well, I usually don't post bad service reviews but I can't just let this experience go. We showed up at 6:30 on a Thursday. Party of 4 plus 2 kids under 11. We get sat immediately and wait.... And wait.... And wait. We finally get a server who is very new with their digital ordering handhelds and informs us they are out of basically all the beer except light beer like Mich Ultra, bud light etc. So we order some cocktails instead. He struggles with the electronics and has no idea what a Michelob is and asks me what kind of soda I want with my vodka and soda that I had requested. I think he thought I wanted Dr. Pepper or something and not club soda. And we wait... and wait... and wait. The drinks arrive and are ok. No real issues other than they were expensive and took forever. On to the food.....oof. Kids ordered pretzel dogs off the kids menu (oh they were out of cola icees as well) 2 of the 4 adult's meals come out. The fried stuff, chicken wings and fries. The other two adults wait... and wait... we flag down the server after probably fifteen minutes. The rest of the party is nearly done with their meals now. The other items were a salad and Philly cheesesteak. How long can that take? Ten more minutes go by and the other two meals finally show up. My salad was awful. Half a chicken breast diced up with dressing poured over the lettuce and not tossed with it. We had to ask for extra ranch after we had already told our server at the beginning of the meal we were going to need more ranch for the table. Anyway, it was also a birthday. Which they have a free "Sunday" to celebrate. Rock hard, very frozen ice cream, Hershey syrup, a small dash of whipped cream and a cherry. The ice cream tasted stale or maybe the lid had been off in the freezer for weeks. It was awful and the server forgot a spoon. Ok at this point we had been there for nearly two hours and the kids just wanted to play games. Let's get this awful meal over with. The server drops off one of those handheld pay at the table devices. Guess what? It isn't connected to the network. So we wait for our server who never comes back. We go to the bar and try to pay there. They are lost at our request. More time goes by. What a nightmare. We finally pay and just want to get a drink at the bar to play some games. Well we go to the "walk up bar" and wait.... And wait.... And wait. There's three bartenders back there but only one looks like he knows what he's doing. One bartender goes from one cash register to another to another. I don't think she knew what she was doing. The other bartender is moving so flipping slow. Like a sloth pouring drinks. We should've left but we didn't. We order two margaritas and we wait... and wait... 46 dollars later. Yes 46$! I don't even want to be here anymore but the kids wanted to play so we do for maybe an hour before they have to go home to sleep. Oh did I mention we found a long blonde hair in one of these drinks? Yep that happened. This was an awful experience. This place has been open for more than six weeks but you'd think they just opened their doors yesterday. The wait staff needs training, the kitchen needs quality control and organization, the bar needs real bartenders and urgency. They were out of so much stuff it blew my mind.
