Well it's a known fact parking is very chaotic and will user Lyft / Uber if I go back. The noise level inside is about a 9 out of 10 so forget visiting much with the rest of your party if you are inside. My biggest complaint though in the two times I have been is while they is an impressive beer list it is only 12 ounces and it was served cool but not cold both times I was there. The food is good but when you are a taproom you expect to be served cold beer!! read more

It's a mixed lot. Gotta admit I was hesitant about the QR code ordering system and minimal human interaction, but I got through it and in the end kind of like it. It's good for groups (assuming each orders his own food) so you end up paying only for what you ordered and not for your buddy who ordered the most expensive thing on the menu. And the whole self-service, lack of servers vibe means no tip is necessary. The food is also a mixed lot. They have lots of nontraditional pizzas and our group ordered several of them. Some were pretty good, some not so much and one we left mostly uneaten because it was really bad. We also ordered a couple salads and those were good. This was our second visit. The first time the parking lot was jammed and we couldn't get in. I guess that's good for business. The second time we got luckier and it was busy, but accessible. The new venue is very nice looking, very open. Great view of Santa Rosa and the environs. The menu is pretty limited, mostly pizza oriented. Really good selection of beers on tap. I stopped in for a beer to see the place after work, about 4 pm. I sat at the bar and there were only two other patrons at the bar. There were about 6 employees, 5 women and one man, who all seemed to be enthusiastic about something. The music was very loud, so they had to practically yell at one another to talk about whatever they were excited about. The bartender seemed more engaged in her conversation with the employees than getting me a beer. When I finally got my beer (I was only having one) I pulled out a 20 to pay and was informed that they don't take cash. What the? I gave the bartender my credit card and sarcastically asked if it was okay to tip in cash. It was. About the service, I would say the people were all very nice but seemed to be lacking a bit in training. Cutting to the chase, why the 4 stars? Yes it worth coming here. Parking absolutely sucks and it's not for a lack of spots. People park at the bottom of the hill near Montgomery and walk up. Happy for them. Means it's busy. But honestly you walk inside and the place is huge. Maybe so huge that it doesn't seem possible that all those cars are owned by people in the restaurant. We've been here twice before and left because we couldn't find parking. This time we found a spot. Lots were mostly full yet the inside and patios were fairly empty. Plenty of seats. Next reason not the service but the ordering app. Order through a QR code but you have to close out each time. So if you're getting multiple rounds you're closing out your tab every time. I find it inconvenient others may not. If there was a way to keep it open till we were done I couldn't see it. I've been hoping something would be done with the old Villa restaurant location. Really excited to have this place open and hopefully thriving. Korean wings were off the chart and their version of Hawaiian pizza was really good. They add jalapeños. Arrived at the Junction specifically for an outdoor concert. The inside is large with plenty of seating including a large bar. Views are lovely. Make sure to walk up to the window to order after you get your table number. Margaritas were good. We tried the Korean wings which were tasty, and the soft serve which was also good. Pizzas looked and smelled good but didnt try any. The outdoor area for the show was good, I think it was on a compacted dirt patio so our shoes were a bit dusty when we left. Large picnic tables are outside too. We took an Uber to the show so we didn't have to deal with parking, which sounds like it can be challenging. OK, we finally made it back to the junction, the last time we tried to go there the parking was crazy, ridiculous, and this time we found parking, really good parking before 2pm on a Friday. The layout of the restaurant is very open and huge nice windows like before. Tables are very spaced out very simple tables, QR codes are on the tables with number, so that is how you order your food, make sure you have the app before you use the QR, save you time. They have a huge game room, but only had like four games in there and two out of order. Seems like a waste of good space. They have a huge area in the back with a lot of tables also. There is also a little patio with tables off the main dining room. The food came out fairly fast. We ordered a Caesar salad, which was humongous. So glad we shared it, it was pretty tasty and dressing was good. I know this restaurant is known for their pizzas, which will try next time. We tried the chicken sandwich. The sandwich was small, I'm used to having a really good sized chicken sandwich when I order at a restaurant, chicken was very tender, my boyfriend rated it a five out of 10, he is a chicken sandwich fanatic. here's the good and not so good The good they've done a fabulous job of renovating the space taking full advantage of the amazing view. it's very modern. lots of various areas to sit inside and out games for the kids etc. we shared a couple pizzas that were really well made and tasty The not so good while they do have a lot of parking when they get busy it can be problematic. it was difficult to get printed menus. they wanted you to go on an app. You're kind of on your own to order your own food though we did get a waiter to help us. what surprised me the most was is they don't take cash. we were with a group of girls and we often bring cash to make it easier to split the bill but they don't take cash. that seems really odd I think it might be best for families with children. The food was so good it was truly 5 stars and we thought it was good service too! Everything we ordered tasted great especially the pizza some of the best in the area forsure! After many years, it's nice to see this location brought back to life. The renovation is very different from what it was before. It's modern and family friendly. As expected, the place was packed. It felt like everyone in Santa Rosa showed up at once and the parking area isn't quite handling the volume yet. Between parking, getting inside and navigating the crowd to get a drink, it felt a bit overwhelming. Service was a bit impersonal, you order on your phone via QR code, I've seen a trend with newer restaurants doing this so not a deal breaker in my opinion. The few times we did interact with staff they were helpful. We ordered a pizza to share for food. To finish we had ice cream. The food was okay, nothing memorable but decent. The drinks were the top highlight, I had two cocktails and felt tipsy, so they are not skimping on pours. To close out, I want add a self centered detail I noticed... there are no mirrors in the restrooms. It feels like an unusual oversight for such a new renovation. The restaurant itself feels almost like a warehouse, I really wish it would have kept some of its old charm. The Junction is a new spot located in Santa Rosa not far from Montgomery Village and Spring Lake. Parking was a bit challenging, but we were able to find a spot after driving around a little bit. We walked inside and were greeted by a staff member that shared it was opening seating both inside and outside. Our group found a table inside. I enjoyed the wide variety of seating options from the patio, to the deck to the bar and indoor seating too. The patio was packed with families and kids and the entire restaurant was full of groups of people and so many dogs. They also have a kids area outside to keep the kids entertained.  Ordering was pretty easy and was nice with a group as we were able to use the QR code on the table to purchase our own drinks and food. I enjoyed a glass of rose as well as brussels sprouts and a mushroom pizza. Our drinks came super quick. The brussel sprouts never came so we had to flag someone down and they helped get us those. The pizza was so delicious! I'd go back just for the pizza and the views of course. The views inside and on the back deck are spectacular looking over the Sonoma County hills. They also have a fire pit right outside the indoor seating, which is a nice addition. read more

Very nice family and dog friendly spot especially on a nice day so you can enjoy the expansive outside seating. Lots of kids on weekends so be prepared for that. Inside is very nice as well. They don't take cash but ordering is quite easy from the table if one has a smart phone and you can also go inside to order. Good beer selection, food, especially the excellent Chicken Sandwich is reasonable though the beer is on the pricey side. the charge more for local brews than the actual breweries so $10+. Parking can be a problem on busy days but we bicycled once as did others but, oddly, no bicycle racks available. The driveway leading up to the place is steep and in shockingly bad repair which doesn't bode well for when the rain comes. It is narrow and even more so when overflow parking is to the side. My family and I were in the area and thought we'd drop by since we've seen so many people raving about it on Facebook and Instagram. We swung by on a Saturday around 4 PM, and wow, it was packed! I was really taken aback by how spacious the place is; we chose to sit outside where there are tons of tables and umbrellas, but walking through the inside, it's huge! We brought our 2-year-old toddler, and she had a blast sitting outside, enjoying the play structure, and watching other kids run around and have fun. This place is definitely a must-try for families with little ones. We ordered the margherita pizza with added pepperoni and the forbidden fruit (Hawaiian pizza), and both were incredible. Placing an order is simple; just scan the QR code at your table and your food will be served promptly. Seating is a free-for-all since apparently maître d's are for restaurants- Just plop down wherever, find your table number, and prepare to scan a QR code because God forbid you hold an actual menu. Fair warning: forgetting your phone here is like showing up to a potluck without a dish -- you're just standing there, useless. And once you're in? Buckle up for the Scroll of Shame, because this beer garden has approximately nine hundred drink options and your thumb will get a workout longer than the actual lunch. Fun fact: this place used to be Italian in a past life, which explains nothing about the current menu but adds a nice "haunted by carbonara" vibe. What it lacks in culinary ambition it makes up for in real estate -- perched on a hill with views good enough to distract you from the fact that the food is fine, just fine. Seating for what feels like 400 people means this place could moonlights as a wedding venue, which honestly tracks -- nothing says "till death do us part" like a beer garden with fried chicken sandwiches. Speaking of which: four varieties of fried chicken sandwiches, and credit where due, they're not stingy with the chicken breast. It's substantial! Let's start with the dirt. We came clean and left covered in it. The parking lot is dirt, the side patio is dirt, and unfortunately, so were we by the time we left. We visited with our two young kids and sat on the side patio near the play structure. The play area itself is great and kept the kids entertained, but be warned, don't wear new or nice shoes. The loose dirt/sand between the parking area and patio gets everywhere. The play structure sits on turf, but it's surrounded by the dirt/sand patio. Both kids ended up covered in it, and with people constantly walking through the area, dust was regularly getting kicked up while we were trying to eat. The tables and benches were wobbly despite being new. The benches were okay, but pretty unstable. They worked for us, but something to be mindful of. The parking lot also had dirt and potholes throughout. Probably more noticeable because the lot was crowded. By the time we left, my husband's new black shoes were brownish-yellow, and my white shorts had a noticeable layer of dust on them. Other than that, we had a good time. The location is good, the food was delicious, and the drink selection was excellent. It's one of those rare places that works well for families with kids while still great for adults who aren't looking for a kid friendly spot. You seat yourself, order through an app, and food and drinks are delivered directly to your table. It's a fairly hands off service, but the staff seemed friendly. Would we come back? Maybe. We really enjoyed the food and drinks, but the dirt was a no starter. If they ever pave the patio, we'd be back. read more

Came here recently and had a really great experience! The ambiance is great-super relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a casual hangout. No waiting around for a server to grab our initial round. -Fantastic Patio: The outdoor seating area is beautiful and features lots of shade umbrellas, making it a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the day without baking in the sun. I would love if the play structure had shade or some canopies over it for those hot afternoons, as the equipment can get pretty warm for the little ones.
