Very sweet server but the food sure isn't as good as Dennys used to be. Breakfast foods used to be pretty good and predictable.

For the record, I love me some Denny's and haven't had any in years. Do you now know how ecstatic I was to see there was one near my hotel room??????? I had to stop in. Walking in, you have the true old school feel of Denny's. The location has an open floor plan and isn't crowded. They also have the high counter which is where we chose to sit. Upon sitting at the high counter we were greeted by a smiling Debbie W. who welcomes us in and takes our drink order. The menu has evolved some over the years, however, the old school classics are still there for those like me who stay true to the originals. LoL! Today I decided to build my own slam. I chose, Bacon (2x) Sausage Links English Muffin Oh yes. I was excitedddddd when it come out. LoL. It didn't take long for my order to come out and everything was fresh. The bacon was crispy, the english muffin was soft on the inside and lightly toasted on the outside. The Manager, Nicole, reminded me to not forget about my jelly and I am so glad she did. Babeeeeeee, I added that grape jelly and it heightened the entire flavor experience. LoL!! The sausage links could have been on the grill a little longer to have a bit more color to them, however, they were cooked fully and tasted good. I plan to go again before I leave so I'll just ask for them well well done. Overall, this was a flavor pleasing, stomach filling experience. The food was good. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and I'll be back for sure. Shout Out to Debbie W. and Nicole! Thank you for the great service my first day in Dallas.

I ordered online for the first time was Denny's and it was a fairly easy process. I was looking for a quick fresh bite while traveling to have in my hotel room nearby at the Hilton Anatole. A club sandwich is usually perfect to keep in the fridge. I waited till the designated time that my food was to be ready and then waited in the pick-up parking spot. I didn't wait too long, but it didn't seem very busy inside so I just went inside to see if I could grab my food by hand. My food was already ready and sitting on the counter. The waitress was very sweet and gave me LOTS of extra ketchup per my request. The sandwich was good, but honestly I was expecting the portion to be larger, but it wasn't bad.

Location Nestled between a number of hotels in the medical/ convention center area of Dallas-aDays Inn, Motel6, Sheraton, Fairfield, Courtyard, ect. Parking Large open lot-many handicapped spaces Atmosphere Denny's This is the cleanest and nicest Denny's we've been to Service Immediate, attentive, friendly-Abigail was FANTASTIC!! The food came out super fast-we were told that this cook not only ate s excellent but efficient! Menu Gotta love the Denny's menu-seasonal favs and the slams!! Because it was my birthday, I got the value slam vibe a the app and text. Huge! 2eggs, bacon, pancakes!! Eggs perfectly over medium, fluffy nice sized pancakes with butter. My husband had the senior breakfast with cheesy scrambled eggs, a pile of bacon and two pancakes. All the pancakes were the same size and yum! Summary Get the Denny's app for the best deals, ask for Abigail. Great location, menu, and service!! Love this place!!

Very awesome restaurant. Good service, yummy food, and a claw machine for kids! We like it

Well well well. This was my first time eating Denny's & it was okay. I wasn't expecting Ihop quality food. First it was very empty which was nice, but they had visitor that had a bunch of bags & shoes that definitely caused an uneasiness for my family. Overall the staff was friendly, they catered to our needs fast. What surprised me was that you have to pay for refills, that's probably the first time i've heard that in a while. It was 5 of us & the bill was almost $100, not expected at all .

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The older lady was rude and snippy. I'm glad we don't live in Dallas.

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

Rebecca the hostess was awesome and introducing us to everything and making sure we got set up for our night. The food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend making a reservation for a table! It's $15 a person for 90 minutes...we had 11 people and time flew, but it was the perfect amount of game play time for all of us! The entire vibe of this place was so cool! We were amazed at how much space there is. The back room got pretty tight when we first arrived since there was a group of 12 there already....they had taken over the tall tables in the middle and the couch. We slowly spread out and then their time was up about half way through ours so it wasn't as cramped. But it's still such an awesome set up we couldn't stop talking about it the next day!

Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely great people to be around. What really stood out was when we celebrated my mom's birthday there. They wrote a special note for her, and almost every employee took the time to wish her a happy birthday. She felt so loved and had the best time -- it meant more than they probably realize. Best decision ever From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with so much enthusiasm and seated right away by the window --although I was a little unsure about staying there since it was already cold outside . While we were deciding, someone immediately checked in to make sure we were okay (love that ). That's when the very kind gentleman--who we later learned was Victor Hugo--let us know another table would be clearing shortly so we could move. Top-tier service already For appetizers, we went with the brisket balls, duck taquitos, and a pitcher of pineapple mimosas . Let me tell you... those duck taquitos were SO good That crema?? EVERYTHING. The brisket balls instantly took us back to Turks & Caicos --IFYKYK We also tried the quesadilla, and once again--another hit . So good that we ended up ordering another round of the brisket balls because why not? Shoutout to Sayde and Maria, who were absolutely amazing . Tequila shots were flowing , and we were convinced to order pecan pie with ice cream for dessert . I do wish the dessert had been complimentary, and the pie would've been a solid 10/10 if it were warm--but still appreciated. Takeaway: Bucket & Rope does food right , and Victor and his team truly make you feel like family . We'll definitely be back--especially for those half-price apps during the week

We started off with a pitcher of mimosa and the duck taquitos. I'm usually not a fan duck however I was told to give it a try. If you hadn't told me it was duck, I probably would have thought it was chicken. The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious. It was a cholesterol mouse that was covered in a hazelnut chocolate shell with a raspberry sauce. Overall a great time was had & I'd gladly go back to try more.

For appetizers, I ordered the deviled eggs and the fried salmon bites, and both were absolutely amazing. Flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. For my entrée, I clearly came hungry because I ordered both the jerk chicken with greens, smoked turkey, and mac and cheese, plus the catfish and spaghetti after our amazing waitress Justice highly recommended it. Let me just say, she did not miss. Everything was seasoned well, hot, and worth every bite. For drinks, I had the blackberry margarita and the tequila old fashioned.
