Worst experience ever and with the general manager. Final straw, I'm done with this Denny's for good. Can't cancel an order after cook messes it up without everyone questioning why and getting upset. GM was not helpful in making it right and final bill about a $1 higher. Even a waitress (not mine) was telling her GM to not talk to her, obviously agitated with him over something else. When I say I am going to breakfast at Denny's, you don't get a ton of favorable feedback. Let me tell you though--not all Denny's are the same! I just spent a long weekend in Branson and was unimpressed to say the least at their Denny's. However- the one in Cypress is a gem! Wait staff is kind, polite, and customer-centric. The food is delish and the pancakes and just scrumptious. I go on different morning with friends so not same day every week and each cook does a fantastic job. The GM or owner takes pride in this establishment as it is clean, organized, and well run. There are no sticky tables or dirty restrooms. 6.8.23 It has been a hot minute since we have ate at Denny's. Due to COVID Denny's deleted a lot off their menu. They did away with plain hamburger buns. WHY... I can not eat sesame seeds. We came in and WOW, they remodeled and it looks great. I always told my husband they should get rid of the old decor. (Orange and brown have got to go!) It looks a thousand times better and no dirty carpet anymore! The menu is quite a bit smaller now but the selections they do have are good options. Breakfast, burgers, steaks (never tried one), lasagna. We both ordered the "dining special cheeseburger & fries". This is the only burger that does not have sesame seeds. It is smaller than the other ones but that was ok with me. It ended up being a perfect size. The fries are always great at Denny's. We ordered the no seasoned wavy fries. They did put S&P on them this time(wish they would not have). When we are in the area again(Cypress) we will have to remember Denny's. read more

Completely hotrible service straight from the Kitchen! Ordered Moons over my Hammy. Sandwich had one thin slice of ham and lacked the cheese that was stated in the menu was supposed to be on it. My hash brown were burnt and drenched in grease. We ordered a stack of pancakes that never made it to the table. The waiter did take the food off our bill but I was never given properly made sandwich after they took it away. I will never return to this restaurant. The cook was cursing horrible from the kitchen as she could be heard throughout. Very upsetting that I didn't get to have dinner with my family this night 1 star because I had to for my review to submit. But I give no stars to this establishment. My second time at this Denny's location. I got the same waitress as last time, she's amazing, energetic & prompt... Her name starts with an M I believe beautiful long red hair that's how you'll know her. I only always order the Moons over my hammy (sub turkey for ham) but this time I chose french fries as a side. NEWS FLASH: Denny's has NEW FRIES, steak cut with deep ridges, super crispy, dipped in ranch, so yum! All of the staff is nice here, there are plastic plates to separate each booth for sanitary reasons, nice! Anyway... enjoy...oh huge plus, I left my laptop at the table by accident & left. My husband and I planned this breakfast date well in advance, we set our alarms, got ready were excited to head out the door before their rush! We made it just on time, hardly anyone was there, I ordered the supreme omelette & my husband got the Moons Over My Hammy we also ordered the Double Berry & Banana pancakes to share. This Denny's offers consistently good food for breakfast, lunch & dinner for very reasonable prices - especially if you order off their 2-4-6-8 value menu. I love their burgers & crispy fries and often add the $2 stack of pancakes as a side. This isn't a Steakhouse, so don't try to compare the quality to a fancy restaurant. For the price you pay here, the food is great. In reality, I believe they deserve a four-star rating, but I'm giving them a five-star rating because I believe their average three-star rating is not fair. read more

Wife and I had the single cheese burger meals. Her's had a pattie as large as the bun. My pattie was so small you had to bite into at least an inch of bread all around before you bit into the meat. I think they gave me a child's meal pattie. Fries were cold and overcooked, not good at all. For $10.99 per burger this was a total waste of money. We went on Halloween night..First the greeter/ waiter by the name of Isabell lied about her name and said it was Elizabeth when she knew she messed up and started being racist.. she said it was one cook and we might didn't want to wait because it was a 35 minute wait I said that was fine we can wait.. she then proceeded to say she didn't have any seating but then said we could sit it the back in the corner.. after my son walked to the front and ask for menus she said I'm coming after 10 minutes later she brung the menus..I said thank you and did kids eat free today she said only one child per table..which wasn't true it was supposed to be 1child per adult i told her that wasn't true she said threw her hands up and said I can't serve you people under her breath and walked away to get the manager named Kazi ..he came out and said is there any questions about the kids free meals I said yes she said it was 1 child eat per table he said that's not what she meant but she literally said that out of her mouth..at that point my husband was ready to go . I preceded to tell him how we felt discriminated he started laughing and said she didn't mean it like that I said how and it's no one over here where we are plus she lied about the wait time and her name .. instead of him saying I will talk her he made excuses about how she didn't mean anything by it. She didn't want to serve us in the first place. He refused to give me my refund back. Ask for refund multiple times. Gave me 1-800 733 6697 number for customer service. Denny's manager said they will give me my refund back. Called that number and they said he should have gave us our refund. Guest services don't give refund they told me.Now have to wait 5more business days for a call back. Still no refund. We were seated promptly by the manager, however after being seated no one stopped by out table to say "I'll be right with you," offer us water or anything. There were a couple of waiters that made eye contact with our table, but no acknowledgement or service. We ended up leaving. I'd say overall cleanliness of the store could improve, but I can't complain because the food tasted so good that I'll be a little more forgiving on that aspect. He kept telling us he'd be right with us but every time he walked by he would just fart on us! He just asked if our drink orders had been taken, no introduction or welcome. It was very warm inside. The bacon was tough and sausage links were tiny and not cooked well.
