Yikes. I'll start by saying that I have not been to an Outback in 20 years, so on a whim, I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the Queensland chicken and shrimp pasta... The pasta and the sauce were exactly how I remembered, which was great. The only issue is that the chicken and the shrimp were both undercooked... The shrimp were still translucent the chicken had a slight pink tint to it. I sent both back and received the exact same items returned to me, but cooked longer, which is a health-code violation. I know for sure I was returned the same items that they had taken to the kitchen because I had cut all of the tails off the shrimp and sliced a few into pieces. I only received half of my chicken breast back which I had cut into sections. Anyway, all this to say, I won't be back. The person dining with me had the new steak sandwich and didn't like it. We both could've taken leftovers and chose not to. We dined in on a Saturday around lunch and the place was pretty dead. Can't imagine they'll be open for much longer. read more

We showed up at 2, not many people when we got there, but as we left it filled up. The chilly was delicious-so much we purchased one to go and took one in a "to go bowl". However-slightly disappointed because I wanted the same size. The one "to go" was smaller than the one in the photo & we paid full price for the To Go size. Anyhoo- The Bloomaritas -hard to complain- Not to strong- would need a few boards to feel "anything". Which was fine- I felt like I had flavored spritzers! The steak-we bought 2- his and hers- Took a photo of just one-he had already started on his by the time I started taking the photo- Absolutely fantastic- medium-tender melt in your mouth. We took leftovers home and reheated a portion at 300* air fry for 1/2 the potato, asparagus and steak for about-10 minutes. Tasted just as good the second time around! The waiter- very nice gentleman- I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out. We had problems with all our gift cards and he was very patient with the issue and so was the supervisor! My party arrived before I did. They ordered my Dr Pepper and Water. I asked for an extra bread when I arrived. They brought it out quick and it was warm. Food arrived and I was happy with what I ordered. I have not ordered a steak in years. My steak was on point and super tasteful. The manager came by the table and he asked if everything was good. I was honestly pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I came for Mother's Day dinner on Monday. Our party was a total of 5, and we were immediately seated. It was nice and quiet inside and our waitress Erika greeted us quickly. She was nice and attentive. As far as the food goes, I got the ribeye and shrimp with my steak cooked medium rare & mashed potatoes and broccoli as my sides. The steak came out just how I wanted and everything was tasty. The shrimp were pretty small tbh and it came on bread that was so dark that everyone asked what it was lol. It was still good though and I cleaned my plate. My mom and grandma also cleaned their plate and said it was very good. I believe my grandma got chicken topped with cheese and bacon and my mom got a well done steak. I took myself out on a date for a birthday dinner and this year, I opened to have some steak. Outback was awesome, quiet (at least when I got there ). I sat at the bar and was happy to have my dinner there. The bartender was attentive and really nice, it was great service all-around from the reception. My 8 oz Center-Cut Sirloin was tender, flavorful, and enhanced beautifully by the roasted garlic butter comfort in every bite. The sides, however, leave room for improvement. The fries, while crisp, were under-salted by a few cranks, leaving them almost but not quite satisfying. The rice was forgettable at best, offering little to complement the main attraction. Service, thankfully redeems much of the minor disappointment. Staff were attentive and courteous, holding doors open as I departed, a small act that elevates the experience. Outback doesn't aim to astonish, nor does it need to. It's dependable, comfortable, and satisfying, though some small details could use a touch more attention. The waiter is soooooo rude. It's just like 10 tables at the restaurant and the order was late, and when we asked she was like "there are lots of tables waiting in the line" . Came on a Friday afternoon. Place was actually very busy. I kind of felt like I was at Denny's. It just felt outdated and old. I ordered an onion blossom to start with and holy moly the amount of salt in the breading was straight up ridiculous. It was so bad we considered to send it back. Looking over the menu I was concerned about ordering anything else so I checked reviews and found a lot of other people complained about the salty food. No thanks. What's the deal? Outback Salthouse. Decided to cut our loss. Left half the blossoms on the table paid and left. I would say they seriously need to check their sodium issue here but apparently people love it based on the amount of people inside. Weird. Idk but I won't be going back. So, my hubby and I went to this Outback location. This was not our first time at this location but the food was a huge MISS. The service was fine (no problem there) but the food NEEDS IMPROVEMENT! Our free Bloomin Onion appetizer was overly greasy which made it hard to pick up and the batter kept falling off. My entree was better tasting (grilled chicken and hot spicy shrimp) but the dessert was a BUST! For $10, you are expecting the dessert to make you feel euphoric AND to look like the picture (which is delicious to look at and mouthwatering). NOPE! That is definitely...NOT what we got! My parents prefer to have well done steaks while I'm a medium/medium rare type of gal. Though this time I didn't order steak, but they arrived as if I did. If you're like me and haven't been to Outback Steakhouse in a really long time I'd say lunchtime is a good time to try it. Was in the Copperfield area with my husband and noticed Outback haven't been to one in years. Decided to give it a try...waited a couple of minutes to be seated they had just opened so I imagine this was the hiccup since there was at the time only one table sat. Once sat our waitress came over, she had the biggest smile and took care of us right a way. Brought us some tasty bread and butter. Ordered drinks, they serve Coca-Cola products and sweet tea--they do have alcohol. Hadn't had a blooming onion in forever so we ordered one, next time if we come to Outback going to have to ask for extra dip because one little cup is not enough. Also, it probably would have helped if I'd let my waitress know how much I drink Coca-Cola because it was tough eating with lack of beverage. Blooming onion is fried so really needed a drink. We didn't want anything heavy now the lunch menu has a few offerings some slightly cheaper, less calories and probably just enough for someone not looking for a heavy midday meal. I called my meal a snack for $11 because it was small for the price -- good -- just small. Everything was good, overpriced but understandable do to supply issues and trying to pay staff to work. However, $3.19 for sweet tea/sodas is kinda high in my opinion. Definitely ruined date night for we ordered an appetizer the blooming onion with our drinks the serving even brought us the stand after that our food came out and they removed the Stand without the blooming onion every coming about half way through our meal the server finally came back and asked if everything was ok once I asked her to remove the blooming onion it came right out I let them know that I did not want it and to please remove from my check it was after that we did not receive any service at all and the check was still not fixed until I had to go and ask at the bar hands down the worst service maybe you should get the poor girl behind the bar additional help. I replied , no Mam it's not. She said let me check. Left me on hold for several minutes. Finally came back saying "she forgot to put it in the bag. Would I like to come back for it ?" No I wouldn't. Too far. Too much traffic. I would like a credit for the baked potato. She had to go ask the manager. Came back and told me I could have a free potato next visit. Close to a 1/2 dozen complaints but the most prevalent being chemical(s) in our cocktails - SO strong you could smell and taste it. Told it was a broken dishwasher. Second being a late salad and more frustrating, same person's steak. Told it was a broken ticketing system. Coup de grâce being a manager who never showed up. It's a broken restaurant. I had been craving red meat for about a week and in desperation went here to have, hopefully, a good meal. I ordered their sirloin 6 oz. It was over medium. I asked for medium. I had to salt it (hardly any flavor). I had my kid and they didn't have chocolate milk or root beer. They had, 'run out' that day. The server was fine. The molten chocolate cake didn't have a melted center so it was just chocolate cake with ice cream. And a hard center. Their mashed potatoes were good. I used that to *flavor* my steak. I had better expectations from Outback, but its pretty clear that they're not for my steak cravings. I went here recently after a very long time, and still regretting of why I did! Initially I was going to sit at the bar, but then decided to get table service. After going thru the menu, I opted for a rib-eye with baked potato and house salad. This combo also came with an option of unlimited shrimp. On paper, it sounded like a great deal. Lil that I knew! Started off with an average house salad. Simple, plain and nothing that stood out. The bread and butter came, but I wasn't too keen to have the carbs. Next came the steak. I asked for a medium. Their illustrations on the menu were on point regarding the cooking variety (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well done), however I was given a well done charred steak. Please see my pic. It looked so dark and burnt and dry. There were no juices flowing and I was really making some good use with the knife. Their shrimp were flavored with either butter garlic or fried volcano. These were so petite. I am almost positive, that these were the frozen ones that you get at Kroger for $5.00/lb and they just dipped them in garlic butter. By the way, they were drenched in butter, and I couldn't really tasted the garlic aroma. The fried volcano were probably dipped in flour with cayenne or other spice. These ones were too battery! What a colossal disaster. I am still unsure, of why I didn't complain and why I even paid for this sub par food. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant that usually has a great reputation. The service was absolutely non-existent. We waited for 10 minutes for the server to be right with us. Finally the host came over and took drinks. Another 10, host came back and asked if we wanted bread-yes,please. Never came. Finally waitress comes out, takes order and LITERALLY never seen again. Organized Chaos at its best! Why does it take 4-5 people to service one table? Give each person an assigned duty and tell them to stick with that one duty. There was well enough staff members to get the job done but too many people doing the same thing! Customers were complaining the entire time we were there. One guy had to get up at least 3 times trying to get serviced. We sat in the bar area and could visibly see employees walking back and forth. Energy is being wasted because no one has a clear job description. Many customers didn't even know who their waitress/waiter was. Now with that being said, our specific waiter was Ty. He did a great job amidst the other chaos that was taking place around him. Very nice gentleman, calm demeanor and attentive. Thank you Ty for your great service!
