Very disappointing tonight for dinner. My wife ordered an omelet without green bell peppers and also a gluten-free English muffin. They brought out the omelet with the green bell pepper. They said they were out also of gluten-free English muffins. I ordered a Cobb salad and they brought me out a salad without the hard-boiled eggs. They told me they ran out of hard-boiled eggs. REALLY? Plus, as I recall, a Cobb salad ALWAYS has chopped ham. It did not have that but they brought out extra avocados to offset this. NOT a good Cobb salad at all. Terrible night! The manager was kind and did try to make an attempt by giving us a discount but the problem was everything was off. Not coming back to this Denny's anymore but Manager is fair. read more

Great customer service was not on the menu today. We came in (party of 3) and immediately, one of the employees shouted "I can't seat you for another 5 minutes, I'm by myself." What happened to the basic greetings like "hello", "I'll be with you guys shortly", or even a "sit where you want and take a look the menu." Mind you, the place only had 1 table of guests (party of 4) and the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. There were also two other servers walking around, so I'm not sure how she was "by herself". Once she sat us, she chose to sit us at the table right next to the other party. My first thought was that this had to be a joke. A completely empty restaurant with so many clean tables and you chose to sit us right next to another group of customers? Talk about lazy. We ordered, got our food around 15 minutes later, and only got a super quick check in. My partner and I both got the All You Can Eat pancakes, and after we only took two bites, she asked if we were ready for the next plate. Why on earth would we be ready for more when we just started on the first batch?? Before she tried to run off, we asked how do we get the syrup to come out of the dispenser because literally nothing was coming out. She said super nonchalantly "I don't know, just take the cap off", and walked off. 3 minutes later, she dropped off the check, no words. What if we wanted to order more food?? Why does this lady even work here? Didn't get her name, but she was an older African American. Such terrible service and I will never return to this place. read more

This particular Dennys needs work and lots of mentoring. When arrived no host for many minutes completely empty didn't even know if it was open or closed when trying to order on menu was told out of many food selections the delivery arrives tomorrow (while eating delivery arrived)the waitress coughed on separate occasions first on coffee and then on my salad also served the same salad damp frozen that I could not eat. she asked me what do you want me to do take it off the order and I said yes please and requested another coffee. The sausage tasted really bad in the sandwich like plastic had to remove it. Not recommended and unpleasant experience I can't support this particular establishment. I couldn't eat my food and was afraid to get sick from the sneezing on food and coffee from her cold or allergies lady apparently seems to be friendly but unacceptable food establishment and needs to understand the basics hygiene. For Veterans discount make sure to bring your ID because otherwise you may be insulted even if you have your military debit card with you never experienced before. Stay healthy. My friend and I aren't local; we were on a road trip and ran out of gas earlier than expected. We stopped at the Shell across the road and decided we might as well stay for breakfast--and I can honestly say it's been the best decision I ever made. This Denny's just makes me feel safe--there's no other way to put it. Our server Jose was kind and when we asked about buying their mugs, provided excellent customer service. There was even a robot that brought out the food, which is a sight I can't recommend highly enough. I didn't catch the manager's name but he was super patient as well, answering every question we had. The food was incredible--I'm not sure I'll be able to eat Denny's after this. Nothing back home comes close. I could road trip across the entire United States and never find a Denny's half as good as this one. If I could give it a million stars I would!!!!! read more

This is definitely my favorite Denny's in the area. Consistently good food, consistently exceptional service, and the manager is amazing as well. Our last experience there was what convinced me to take the time to write this review. I gave my son the choice to eat anywhere he wanted after his 8th grade promotion. I was beyond surprised that chose this place?!? Well, I have to say, our meal was super enjoyable. Our server was one of the friendliest we've ever had. And the awesome manager even greeted us at our table and assisted us in taking advantage of the discount when he found out we were yelpers! Will be returning, often! read more

I know! Denny's are everywhere! BUT, this is the best Denny's I've been to in a while. The place was nice and clean. Very inviting. The experience was extra special because of Ms. Shirly. The sweetest waitress you can have help you. Ms. Shirly was very attentive to our needs. I ordered a hot chocolate. The minute she saw my cup empty, she immediately asked if I'd like another. I ordered the breakfast slam that consist of two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two sausages, two slices of bacon oh and hash browns. All that for $6.99! What a deal. When I received my food my bacon needed to be cooked a little longer to my liking. Ms. Shirly has no problem with taking it back for me without a problem. When she brought it back it was perfect! Came to the new Denny's for dinner and was immediately greeted with big smiles and a welcoming hello from the Host Kevin! Kevin let us pick our booth and made us feel like we were at home with friends. Our waitress was very patient with us and didn't rush us to order. The food came out fast and hot which was amazing. This diner is one located on the opposite way from solano community college. Came here to order breakfast to go. Had to wait a bit to get a menu so that I may order for take out. Reasonable prices. There's even the $2, $4, $6 & $8 dollar menu. Once your order is placed, it didn't take long for it to get done. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and pancakes with eggs and bacon. Breakfast and a show, a shitshow. It took forever to order and even longer for our food to arrive. It was around 40 minutes after being seated that we were finally eating, and it wasn't busy. The table next to us that was seated after us got 1/2 of what they ordered, and the second dish after we had finished our food. I've been coming to this Denny's for a while now, never really spoke to management or anything like that. But I always get the same friendly service every time. LOCATION: I believe it's in a really good location in this small Cordelia community. Next to a real cool "Fun Park" called Scandia, where you can play arcade games, mini golf, batting cages, go karts, and etc. it's also located near tons of gas stations and a Starbucks coffee shop. FOOD: I mean cmon it's Denny's, it's a corporate restaurant not a small cafe shop owned by a family. I don't really go for the sausage or bacon from ANY Denny's, but their pancakes are very delicious as well as their eggs and grits. They have a very cool menu with all different types of meals for many different prices for someone with even $2 $4 $6 or $8 in their pocket. SERVICE: As mentioned earlier their service at this Denny's is always friendly. Seems like they had the same employees with a few new young faces working for experience. The manager has a nice handle on his employees, and it seems like a have a clear vision on how he wants his restaurant to be ran. I do recommend this Denny's in Cordelia. read more

This was the BEST Denny's I've ever been to. On the road again, we didn't have the energy to venture far from our hotel for dinner...so we went to the Denny's across the street. The place was nearly empty due to the late hour, but did not have the creepy feeling of a late night diner. Our server was attentive and friendly. My husband ordered one of his favorites--Moons Over My Hammy with seasoned fries... everything was done perfectly. I didn't feel like anything greasy, and was intrigued by the veggie burger on the menu-with spinach, sauteed mushrooms, and pepper jack cheese on a toasted wheat bun. That's pretty much my idea of a perfect sandwich (just add tomato, and its perfect). The actual veggie burger turned out better than I could have imagined. The whole wheat bun was perfectly toasted, the fresh mushrooms were sauteed perfectly to bring out their flavor and texture, the pepper jack added the perfect kick, and the spinach was fresh and not wilted. Oh yeah--and the veggie burger-crispy exterior with a soft (not mushy) core. All this at Denny's???? Usually, I order veggie burgers when nothing else on a menu sounds appetizing.
