Mom and I came in around 11PM after craving anything other than fast food. Staff was friendly and attentive, but not my favorite Dennys location. The restaurant was recently built after the old location was remodeled, so it's a bit smaller now. The steak and eggs were...worrying. We ordered medium rare, and we got something closer to rare. Honestly the eggs were my favorite part of the meal. I was still hungry so I also got a side of seasoned fries. The dinner garlic bread is also super good. The fries were freshly fried, but unfortunately even the prices here are too high. Dennys is a solid place in a pinch, but also only when you have nothing else to grab in the area. read more

My bf and I were hungry and thought hmm let's try Dennys for like the good ole days !! And so we went here I wanna say last Sunday or Monday. Anyhow, the outside looked nice and remodeled and the inside was pretty clean and inviting but the inside dining area was like CRICKETS !!!! No MUSIC NO TALKING like people were there but it was pretty silent. It was so WEIRD !! So being that we got seated right away we were exited to relive our high school years of coming to a Dennys !! But now I realized why it was so dang quiet!! It's because everyone was STARVING !! We waited almost 45 mins to an hour to be served !! The other family who got seated before us LEFT !! We were going to leave but our ordered was put in. I even asked our server (which isn't her fault) if our order was put in to make sure and she said yes so we chose to stay. We got our order and it's was mediocre nothing special. But will we EVER COME BACK !!!! NOOOOO!! Not to this location at least. I don't necessarily review anything pertaining to Denny's, because it's a chain restaurant, but I will say this, they started rolling out their plant based pancakes with fruit and hash browns on the side and it was delicious. Hubby's choice for dining when I give him the chance to pick. And although I much prefer supporting small, family-owned restaurants, I try to enjoy it anyway. Haha To my surprise, this place can get crowded on Saturday mornings. They need extra workers. Standard American food, as we all know. Quality is okay, not the best. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a side of mozzerella sticks. Food is just okay. I didn't think my chicken sandwich was very tasty at all. I think Denny's is often overlooked as a restaurant because the prices are low, making some people view it as a place of little importance. However Shirley, our server, should receive full credit for creating a welcoming atmosphere to the eatery. After notarizing for a client at Sutter, I wanted to take my husband for a bite to eat. Two Sixty next door was packed, so we ended up at Denny's. When I'm tired, I don't mind casual fare. Shirley was the one who greeted us warmly as we entered. I could see from her confident movements that she was an experienced waitress. We later found out that she had been a waitress from age 15 and still going strong at age 71. I think it's important to mention Shirley because not enough people appreciate good service and personable wait staff with excellent work ethics. Do not come here at night!!! The server Brandy was super rude. She asked us to keep our voices down to whispering when it's only us and two other tables in here. Her food service was good but her attitude needs to be adjusted. She wouldn't serve any beer this is now the 2nd time we been in there and she has said she can't serve beer cause of a cut off. And it wasn't close to 2am yet. The first encounter we went in she immediately told us I can seat you guys but I can't get to you guys right away. Great 24 hour spot to eat. Food came out really fast and was delicious. The waitress is really nice and takes care of you. The menu has new things in it. The bourbon burger was huge and so delicious. Fries are always good here along with the ranch dressing and milkshakes. The only thing that gave me a huge shock factor was some of the new pricing. I know inflation happened. What a joke this place is. I'm here for breakfast this morning at 4am. The host/server is busy watching a movie loudly on his laptop at the front of the restaurant. I had to Interrupt his move to get him to come take my order. Now I'm sitting here waiting for my coffee that I ordered 10 minutes ago because he went back to watching his movie. Stopped in for a quick sit down dinner with my wife after running errands and had a great experience. The restaurant was exceptionally clean including the well appointed restrooms (the hand dryer even included a UV light and the soap and hand sanitizer dispensers were well stocked). The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and attentive. To top it off, the food was tasty, well presented, and well prepared. While we've been here in the past, it's obvious this location has upped its game. As area residents, we'll be frequenting this place more often. read more

Me and my sister came in with 10 dollars and it was my birthday. I couldnt get my bday rewards to work so i bought a 6$ all u can eat pancakes. Been a long hot minute since I've dined at a Denny's and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. This location is in Cordelia, next door to Two60 and a hotel. We were greeted and seated in a timely manner for a party of 3. I had the super bird and though it was made a slightly different- sliced in two than three- it tasted the same and good!! The fries are an interesting waffle/ridge style cut. My son had the double cheeseburger and a chocolate shake which he ate up. Hubby had the lumberjack slam and it delivered with a very healthy helping. Service was great, have no complaints. The interesting (and highlight) was seeing the robot servers. This is a brand new Denny's location, right across Pittman Road from my hotel. The architecture is very modern and attractive, as is the interior design. My order was the Moon Over My Hammy ($13.49), one of my favorite Denny's entrees. The order was taken by our server, Teresa, who provided really good service. About 12 minutes later, the order came out, delivered by a robot ! Denny's has robotic carts which are programmed to go to individual tables. I thought it was a neat touch, allowing Teresa to approach without an armload of dishes. The meal was delicious. All's well that ends well, and Denny's has been very consistent with quality. Prices, of course, are not necessarily within Denny's control, unfortunately. read more

This place is terrible for delivery. Food arrives cold and twice they've forgotten my beverage. The delivery people do not speak English. Had to drive up there to get them. Got some lame excuse about co-workers not doing their job. Ya think?1? And to add to the misery, when I got home with my drinks, they were Diet Coke instead of Coke. Seriously??? We went here on 3/7/23 around 8 pm. There were 4 of us. My son got the pot roast bowl. $14.59 The pot roast was mostly fat, he got a few pieces of meat. Maybe 3 chunks of meat. The rest was fat. It had runny mashed potatoes and weird tasting carrots. I was going to say something but they didn't want me too. His Dad who likes fat did eat it. But my son went home hungry. We love our neighborhood Dennys. The food does not disappoint every time we stop in for a quick bite mainly breakfast. Dawn our server was very attentive and friendly. This location is always packed on weekends during the am rush but we are served timely. One suggestion is to have an option to pay at the table with a self checkout machine so the cashier is not backed up in the front and sometimes trying to seat guests. We will always be guests here since we live nearby and conveniently located whenever we want a great quick bite. Great establishment. The owners are also very nice. read more

I am retired and meet here every month with a group of former co-workers. We get seated in a semi private room and always have the same server, her name is Lynne and she is a wonderful server. Our Mustang Club (The Golden Hills Mustang Club) has their monthly meeting at this Denny's, in their back room, the room is the perfect size for our group of up to 30 people, and we are lucky enough to get an amazing server named Dawn. When we walk in the room, Dawn is right there to greet you, and take your order. Dawn is very efficient, and our orders always come out correct, and hot. If you are lucky enough to have Dawn as your server, make sure to leave her a nice tip. read more

I live just over the overpass and not only is this Denny's close and convenient, but the people in here are great. I've had Lynn as my server plenty of times and she is just one of the best, if not the best waitresses ever. So sweet and attentive and takes care of you. Of course food is good. Came here with my family just passing through tonight. It was about 5:30 pm and there was only one server on the floor- her name was Danniella and she was awesome!!! She was handling upwards of 7 tables all by here self with a great attitude. She was sweet and did a great job getting our food out quickly. I know it's a tough job and it's SO hard to keep everyone happy when you're the only server on shift but she was doing great. Food was amazing and ambiance was great too-very clean and was a great temperature inside (some places are either freezing cold or roasting hot lol). We did not know when we got sat down that they were at closing, and the manager, Wendy, is one amazing amazing individual. New Dennys same old bad service. This location reopened as one of the newer look models but it's still the same bad service as the location right next door. I went their Friday night with some friends and the place was empty but they still messed up our food. They said they were out of Diet Coke then we find out they weren't. They said they were out of other things and they weren't. Then forgot to bring out other items until we were almost done eating and we had to remind them. Go to today and I order on line. Simple. Curbside pickup. It doesn't have the normal verification that your there like most places now you still have to call in to let them know you've arrived. Well... just like if you try to call in and order when their app is down nobody answers. I call 5 times. Nobody picks up. I have to go in to get it. I walk up and just grab my food. Keep in mind months ago someone else grabbed my food because they don't even check. So if you want free food just walk up and grab some! If you want your food be prepared to maybe not get it. Claims they don't have it and don't expect to get it the way you expected. If there was another breakfast place in my area I would skip and if McDonald's pancake breakfast didn't cost more than Dennys now (I don't understand why) I would just go their and eat their crappy eggs. At least I wouldn't have to deal with bad service. read more

Decent food depending on who makes it, sometimes it's amazing and other times not so much

Took my sis and brother in law out for breakfast and they could pick any place to go to. The choices for breakfast are huge but they wanted to take me to see their favorite people and the AI server. Dawn was amazing. My mom is diabetic and wanted pancakes so Dawn suggested the sugar free syrup. She double checked and made sure I would get my fruit with my fit meal. Our coffee and my fruit was delivered via the robot who spoke in Spanish so my mom even enjoyed her breakfast time. They celebrate turning 63 and 61 today at Dennys because they enjoy the clean, easy going and knowledge of the staff. Thank you Dawn and Hannah. read more

Im trying to be fair here, I had to take my dog to the Emergency vet. It was Sunday and our electricity was out in American Canyon, and Vallejo. Because of that it was very busy..Here's my experience; I was greeted immediately by a nice young man very welcoming, he was taking names for the waiting list..I was told there was a bit of a wait so I didn't mind so much that I waited about 25 min to be seated at a table, only to be seated at the counter, which I could have sat at when I walked in 25 minutes earlier..The Host said, it'll be super fast right here..lol..nope..My server was a nice lady, but again, it was extremely busy, I only just sat down, so I hadn't looked at the menu, so, I asked her to come back, which she did but it had to be about 10-15 min later..Regardless I wasn't upset really..So I order and ask her to back up an order to go so it comes a tad later then my food..I ordered the Bourbon chicken, I substituted rice instead of potatoes, it was not to bad except one side of my chicken was so overcooked that it was like way to crunchy, almost like a dog treat crunchy, yeah, that's it..So I asked my server if she put my order up, I saw her tell the manager on duty to watch for it, as I was right there in the middle of everything at this weird counter, I felt like I was at school...or there to learn from them..lol..So I wait I don't know how long, but it was too long, I had to go pick my dog up, no big, I asked the manager if he could have my stuff ready when I came back.i forgot to tip my server, so I did when I came back, my stuff was ready, awesome!! Well my kids were disappointed as they didn't get the right food..Also there was a lot of trash on the floor, just seems that the bus boy? do they still call them that? He could have swept it up he stood right on top of it for a min or so..I'm trying to be fair but all in all it could have been a better experience..Everyone was very nice I'll give them that for sure, and they were all hustling..I'd come back for another try on a less busy day . read more

So seriously, to all the people who didn't experienced the top service they expected from a Denny's, you need to get real. All businesses are experiencing staffing issues due to Covid boneheads! This isn't a Michelin restaurant, it's a consistent dining experience, that's affordable and serves more than satisfactory food. This is by far the best Denney's in California. It may have something to do with our fabulous server Shirley. Once we got seated Shirley got slammed which didn't delay our Slams! She didn't miss a beat with my high maintenance little ones. My husband and I just had the all american breakfast. It was filling, we enjoyed it. Our server Lynn was exceptional. When we walked in their were already a few customers and a few more after us. Lynn was the only waitress and she handled the crowd with a genuine smile. She checked on us frequently and was very gracious. Came into this location while on a road-trip. Let me tell you Jose the server is the sweetest and they've got this robotic server that you need to see. The staff is so friendly and helpful we asked to see if they sold their mugs and they provided excellent customer service. My friend and I are not from the area but we will be coming back solely for the homey and comforting feel that this dennys gives it guest. If I could I would give it 10 stars. read more

I have been a regular at Denny's for breakfast since it opened and love every staff member - Dawn, Shirley, Hannah, Lynne, Jose.... Every last one makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. They are fast and efficient while also taking the time to ask about your week or vacation. I miss them on the weekends we aren't able to go in! Oh yeah, the food!
