And then she didn't check to see if we needed anything else. She did but when my husband was waiting for her for a while. Like prior reviews, the service was horrible and the food was mediocre. The Asian older waitress (whose name I shall not provide), gave us bad attitude and took our orders wrong. I asked for seasoned fries and received regular, and my friend was missing his order of 2 eggs. Mind you this was all confirmed by the waitress before leaving. Came here on my birthday (today) to grab a quick bite before Knotts. The wait time was a little long but it was 10:30a, what do you expect? Common sense is still in the consumer as well, haha. The hostess, Claudia, was friendly and fun. Our server, Ramiro, was hilarious, attentive and quick on his feet. Ordered two different grand slams, got waters and tea and have no real issues at all. To start with, it's Denny's, so I wasn't expecting much. To start with, the Hostess was ignoring incoming patrons, so we probably should have left right then. Once we finally were seated (they honestly weren't that busy) our little family of 3 were seated next to a table of about 9 out of control teens. It took forever for our server to get around to taking our order which consisted of a kids meal, a fit slam and for me, a bowl of soup. When the food was brought to the table, only then did the server advise that they were out of soup, and it would be about 10 minutes. So, completely unprofessional, considering the soup was my entire meal. She went back to check on the soup and said it would be 3 minutes. My Fiancé was try to get her attention to get Tabasco and butters but it wasn't happening. Now he has cold eggs and I have no dinner. I had to physically go to the front counter to ask for the manager. The manager apologized, then went to check on the soup. About 30 minutes later, they still hadn't managed to defrost soup. Yes, we were told it was frozen. Then, the manager went so far as to say it "isn't our fault." I'm afraid what happened is absolutely the fault of incompetence and terrible management. I'm no Denny's aficionado, but either the franchise has hit rock bottom or this is the worst branch in all of existence... We were here for nearly two hours, just waiting and WAITING. It was a bit busy and they were clearly understaffed, so I can't particularly say that's the server's fault.. but we hardly ever saw the waitress, we had to ask her for things MULTIPLE times, including a side order and a beverage, and when the food arrived it was COLD! We even flagged down a couple different waitresses, who all insisted only our practically non-existent waitress could help us. Horrible, horrible experience.. people go out and spend money at restaurants to treat themselves, not to be subjected to some ridiculous extended time wasting game. This Denny's is actually fast service. Even though it was packed we did not have to wait long for our food so that is always a bonus. Our server was very nice and attentive! He came to check up on us frequently and asked if everything was okay. In my opinion that is good customer service. He was very smiley and friendly. The food is great!! i got the double cheeseburger with no pickles and no onions and it was just how I ordered it! So I can't complain about that! First of all, I just want to say how I love the renovation. The newer look makes the facility look a lot cleaner and more spacious. I've been coming here for years and the make over definitely ups the rating. I enjoy how more modern it looks except I have no clue why they got rid of the television screens. Another plus is the free Wi-Fi! Food: In all honesty, it's Dennys so the food is really nothing to get crazy over. Sometimes it's a hit or miss. But I will admit, there are some dishes that are pretty good. The sandwiches would have to be my favorite. The Super Bird, Grand Slamwich and the Chicken Salad sandwiches are my favorites and don't forget to substitute it for seasoned fries! I like how they always offer such a variety of dishes! They have seasonal dishes as well as holiday favorites. It's good too that they have their 2-4-6-8 dollar menu to help with those who are on a budget. I'm sure they'll be able to satisfy anyone's craving. Service: The staff has always been friendly and efficient throughout the years except I feel as if some of the newer younger employees can't live up to the older employees' reputation. May 16th, 2021. I've had a few choice words and bad experiences with this location. I was glaf to see that the good and decent employees are still working here. The lady manager tonight...the cooks...etc. were great!! Not that previous 1-3 star rating I've experienced in the past. We had made an order for pick up so when my boyfriend and I arrived she asked us if we were picking up an order and we replied yes. She then asked for the name and my boyfriend proceeded to tell her the name for the order 4 or 5 times very clearly and she just started at him blankly for a minute and acted as if she had never asked him for his name and then scoffed and told him very rudely he would have to sit down and wait.
