Service was a 10 out of 5 and food on point. I was gladly surprised. We were greeted and they sat us down right away. Right after Ricardo our waiter asked us our drinks order. Shortly he brought us the drinks. Water, apple juice, Dr Pepper and coffee. Not only that but he soon after left us additional refills. We were ready to order right after the drinks arrived. So he took our order. He was very helpful suggesting better options on our choices. We ordered Mac and cheese and some sausage for my grandson, and a make your own omelet for my daughter, the nachos and side of fries for my other daughter and whole grain pancake breakfast for me. The cooks didn't take that long to have everything ready for us. Ricardo was very attentive on refilling our drinks. He was making sure we didn't need anything else. He also had a positive & kind attitude every time he came to our table to ask how we were doing. The food was great. The potatoes were cooked perfectly without being burnt. First was sat next to the bathroom and the smell of dry urine was wafting at us. As soon as we sat the waitress asked if we wanted coffee then what we wanted to order. We said just a few minutes please. I asked to move because it smelled so bad, I'm talking target bathroom on a holiday weekend. They said go wherever you want. So we did. No Humanity in this store Today I told the female manager of this establishment that I, as a woman, really needed to use the restroom. She wouldn't let me. For half an hour on the way home, I prayed that she would pee in public and be humiliated, because that's almost what happened to me today because she wouldn't let me use the restroom. I've never experienced anything like this at any other Denny's. And they even told me to buy something. We came to Disney on vacation with our daughter who turned 2. After having a late night of fun at the park, we came to eat here in the morning. It was already late mid morning and our daughter was very hangry, crying and crying. As parents, of course, that's our fault. But our waiters were so wonderful, considerate and efficient. One of the workers came over to offer her a few grapes on the house, while we waited for food. I was so so grateful. Not to mention our waiter himself was incredibly efficient, giving us refills without having to ask. Definitely the place to eat with little ones. The food was also very tasty! I love Denny's but this was probably the worst service I've experienced in a Denny's restaurant to date. Just take a look at my Denny's Buena Park review. I praised their service. We had a late lunch at about 4:00 pm. When we stopped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a very cheerful young lady who walked us to our table, presented us with our menu's and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Up to this point, things were fine until a male server, (Angel) came to assist us. I ordered the Cali Club sandwich and a chocolate shake. He asked if I wanted french fries and I said yes. I asked if they still had waffle fries and he bluntly replied, NO! He took the order from the other person in my party and walked away. The order took approximately 30 minutes to complete. There were only two other tables of patrons who were already eating in the entire restaurant, so I'm not sure why it took so long to prepare our food. Angel made my chocolate shake and brought it back to the table before the food arrived. Normally at all other Denny's restaurants the shake comes in a glass along with some extra shake in the blender cup. When he brought the shake, there was a little sip left in the blender cup. I'm still not sure why he brought the blender cup to our table since there was such a small amount left. The shake was not up to the normal Denny's standard. I usually get almost one and a half glasses of shake when it's prepared properly. It was disappointing. After bringing our food, Angel walked past our table numerous times and not once checked to see if everything was good or if we needed anything else. I had to get up from my table to retrieve a bottle of ketchup and then later after finishing our meal, had to ask Angel to bring a "to-go" box and our bill because we were waiting to leave Again, this was all during a lunch service of only three tables. Angel, please remember that all customers are important and should be treated as such. We just want to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and satisfaction drove me to look elsewhere and I was able to find Coco's Restaurant and Bakery down the street. read more

Local Anaheim resident here. I am a Denny's girl but this Denny's is subpar. We were in the mood for breakfast for dinner and this was not the place. Don't come here if you're looking for any attention from the staff - you'll be left sitting and waiting in a quiet booth. The bare minimum is not there. Service was slow even though the restaurant was sprinkled with guests. The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately, the food was not. Limp, skinny bacon that's been sitting in oil versus being fried with the babiest of sausages and the most packed wet omelet. Let the eggs breathe, don't suffocate the veggies in it. read more

Came here for a final breakfast before leaving, and just a couple of days after my last review. The breakfast was on a voucher from the Best Western Pavilions next door, and although the last visit was good, this one was "more gooderer"! (Keep all grammar policing to yourself - I like saying that! ) I arrived about 9:30 - late sleep in - and was quickly shown a table by the host, Jorge, and was just as quickly greeted by my server, Ricardo, who took my beverage order while I perused the menu - I was planning to get a little something in addition to the breakfast. When he returned I was ready, and I ordered 2 of the 2 eggs (scrambled) and the hash browns, and added a fruit bowl off the menu as well as an iced tea. The food came quickly, the eggs still hot. The reason this visit is more gooderer is because the eggs this time were moist, like I like them! Not everybody will and that's okay, but they were perfect for me! The fruit bowl was yummy, with bananas, red grapes (and 3 seeds!) and cantaloupe, not too sweet but good. The service from Ricardo was exemplary, and I appreciate his working with me on the menu items - I am glad to see consistently great service here, no matter who I have had so far, from hosts to servers. Although we were grateful to have found a Dennys at close proximity to Disneyland this particular location has a lot to improve on. We did not wait long for our table but once seated the service was terrible, we were served coffee and waited over 10 minutes for our first refill. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our waiter was rude and we can immediately see that he did not want to be serving a large party. The food was great, it came out quickly and everything was delicious. Overall the restaurant ambiance is okay, it's clean which is a basic requirement but I hope they will bring some attention to their servers so that they can provide better service to customers. read more

The Denny's close to Disneyland. They even sell a good plethora of Disneyland Merch in here. Came here the other day during COVID times. Dining is outside and they did a good job serving us. I do think they hike up the price here for being close to Disneyland? My friend got an All American Slam and it was $12. The portions looked small!!! This was a great Dennys, Frank our server was nice. The food as far as Dennys goes was pretty dang good. We had the lumberjack slam and each item was delicious- including the scrambled eggs which is rare. The ham was the only thing that was mid, there was a lot of tables and we didn't get a drink to us but every employee had a good attitude and it was a great way to start our day. This review is only for the Breakfast Voucher with Best Western Plus Pavilions next door. Tuckered out from a fun-filled day at Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure (DCA) and Downtown Disney, there was no way in heck I was going to be driving back to Pasadena super late at night (well, my friend drove this time, and she wasn't keen on driving home late night either). Therefore, we spent the night here at Best Western Plus Pavilions (about six mins away from Disneyland). The following morning, it was breakfast time! Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the hotel breakfast area was closed. Instead, we were gifted a breakfast voucher for next door to Denny's. The meal included a small drink of your choice and three items to choose from their breakfast list. The meal was delicious, and the service was fantastic! Parking: Free and spacious! After checking out of the hotel around 9:30 a.m., we headed over to Denny's and checked in with the Host. Afterwards, our server (I don't recall his name, but he was super sweet and attentive) walked us back to our booth. Each booth area had plexiglass In between. COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Staffers and guests wore face masks. Hand sanitizers are available and social distancing practiced. After our server took the breakfast voucher, we were ready to order. We both had iced waters and coffees, which came with an assortment of creamers. Assortments of sugar packets, salt & pepper, jelly packets and a ketchup bottle were already situated at the table. Our server later came back with bottles of Tabasco, Cholula Hot Sauce and Maple Syrup. A few minutes later, our breakfast arrived. I got some hearty scrambled eggs, two savory strips of turkey bacon and two fluffy round pancakes topped with margarine. My friend got runny eggs sunny side up, two pieces of toast and also, two fluffy rounds of pancakes with margarine. Our breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious! A great way to start off our morning. The coffee was strong, and I enjoyed two cups. Our server was on it with the refills and instantly asked if I was ready for "a 3rd shot?" Hahaha, no! Two cups are enough for me! Service: Our server was friendly and efficiently. He checked in our us regularly and asked if we needed anything else before he attended to his other tables. After we were done, no further action was needed other than leaving gratuity on the table. Restroom: There's only one unisex restroom in the back. It's clean, nicely stocked and maintained. Lastly, this Denny has a huge wall of Disney souvenirs (in case you want to get something else before leaving Disney completely, hehe!). Overall, I'm glad that breakfast was served at Denny's while the hotel breakfast was closed down. Better than having some weird, already prepared morning grab bag. I haven't read the other reviews and just going off my experience. The service was quick and friendly, tables were clean and everything looked fine. It was pretty dead but still a welcoming place. The thing about diners and Denny's is that usually the food is just ok but it fills a need to eat, not this place. The food was freaking delicious! T bone steak cooked to perfection. Well seasoned and medium rare! Mashed potatoes tasty and toast great. The broccoli did taste like frozen bagged broccoli but still not bad. Wife and kid really enjoyed their meals as well but I didn't try them so not can't reviews. The other thing I had were the mozzarella sticks and sauce. The sticks are just like any other mozzarella but the sauce was actually really tasty. Over all this was a pleasantly surprising and awesome experience. Close to a lot of hotels, huge menu with food for everyone and just a nice surprise. It's still a diner but probably the best Denny's I've eaten at. read more

I'm not sure why there is only 3 stars for this place. My mom and I came here 4 times during our 6 day visit for the food alone. Filling and priced right, this restaurant offered an actual choice of food that wasn't fried (unlike the parks). Great mrnus options, i enjoyed the avocado burger and the grilled chicken cobb salad the most. I was able to eat well and be full prior to the DL half marathon and enjoyed a delicious breakfast after the 10k! Staff was friendly and enjoyed telling us about places to see around the area that wasn't just the parks. I'd prefer to eat here than in the parks at anytime. read more

This is actually one of the better Denny's I've ever been to. I was debating between the 3/4 star review, only because it's an actual Denny's. But, to be very honest, our meal was a solid 4 star experience. We were greeted promptly, as it was a very busy Sunday morning too. And we were seated even faster than I had hoped, but the seating has quite a large area. We got our drink orders fast. We got our food fast. It was HOT too! I am so unimpressed with restaurants that serve food that has been warmed up under a lightbulb. Service was good too, almost even friendly! :) My party ordered a few Kids' Meals and the mango smoothie in one order was REALLY good. Lots of flavor and not watered down at all. The silver dollar pancakes were served hot too, very fresh. The adults in the party split their basic breakfast (can't ever remember it's name?) - Sausage good. Sourdough toast good. Pancakes good. The only little hiccup was that eggs over medium were ordered and we were delivered scrambled. I would have preferred the server leave the plate of food and BRING a side of the correct-ordered eggs. But, the food was so dang good I won/t remove a star from this. I know it's usually hit and miss with places like this, but I am very pleased to say our visit was a GREAT hit. read more
