I was on vacation with my sister and my nephews and I've been to Mimi's in Vegas before and I know the food is good so I suggested since this was right by Disneyland that we eat here. All four of our meals were incredible. They were so fantastic. We had such a great time. Everyone was so friendly. The staff actually gave really great suggestions about when to see fireworks at Disneyland and parade and we weren't there for that, but we still appreciated that they were so excited to tell us about cool things to see. Staff=amazing!!! The food...we all loved it. My sister and I both got the hibachi salmon. She substituted her rice for mashed potatoes and she said they were so good and I substituted my vegetables for au gratin potatoes which I highly recommend. One of my nephews got the pancake flight and he said he liked the cinnamon pancake the best and my other nephew got toast and eggs and potatoes and everyone loved what they had. Had brunch here on 23rd of August and paid w/ cc. 4 days later the transaction still shows pending!! I'm trying to reconcile my cc statement and can't do it because of this! My son and I were getting ready to go to the OC Fair which is like 25 minutes away from Mimi's Cafe. So before going to the Fair, we decided to stop here and have lunch. Walked in on the 29th of July at exactly 1pm and we were greeted by Suzie. She took us to our table right away. Place was empty around that time with only very few tables being occupied. This is a nice sized restaurant with beautiful decor, artwork all around and has multiple dining rooms. Here comes our server Lily with a pretty smile and right away was ready to take our order. We both got separate dishes from their extensive menu and shared. My son got their Grilled Salmon with Garlic Spinach for his side, and nothing to drink but water. I got their Ribeye Steak, (medium-rare), that was cooked to perfection! Also with Garlic Spinach with a bed of Jasmine White Rice. For drink, I got their White Peach Iced Tea, which was very delicious and refreshing on a hot Summer day! Since I love Mimi's French Onion Soup, even though it was hot, I had to have it. They have the BEST French Onion Soup. I have had many in other restaurants. They also have outside seating/patio. For appetizers, we opted for Caprese Salad that was a great portion. We also got their Buffalo Wings, but didn't like it too much and told Lily to remove it from our table and she gladly did. It was also removed from our bill. I also had water. Last but not least, we had their Carrot Loaf. Our server asked if we wanted any dessert, but for me their Carrot Loaf exceeds any dessert on the menu. I had asked her to slice it not too thick & not too thin. It was sliced perfectly. Food was fresh, delicious and for the portions, prices were very affordable. For all that we only paid $113.38 including tax and her tip that she deserved! Parking is shared with other businesses, restaurant was very clean along with both restrooms for women & men. Nice music was playing overhead. Overall, a great dining experience at this Mimi's Cafe & Bakery. Unfortunately, many other Mimi's have gone out of business. Mimi's Cafe is a super solid before or after Disneyland meal. I actually really miss having one near me in Florida and it was great to have some of those favorites again. Prices are in line for their location and service is friendly although a bit tired at the end of a long day dealing with tourists. The restaurant is clean and with lots of signs in the parking lot about being towed if you were parked there for the parks, there was plenty of parking available. read more

Wonderful food, atmosphere, people. It used to be tradition for my kids and I to come here for my birthday. They are now grown, I moved out of state, so now we come whenever I'm in town! I visited here about 2 weeks ago. My friend and I were given a nice booth and the service was fantastic. Both the server and the manager as well as other staff checked in on us frequently and were very friendly. They were kind about us wanting to chat for a bit longer. I could see that many customers got their food quickly (like us) and were able to scoot pretty quickly to get back to being tourists. We were happy to stay and they didn't rush us. There were lots of different groups in there-couples, small and large families and everyone seemed nicely accommodated on a busy evening. My friend and I enjoyed the meals we chose a lot. My chicken sandwich had nice juicy chicken and I enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Got their box of 4 delicious muffins to take home for breakfast the next day for my family-pack of 4 for about $15. About the price for some grocery store ones these days but so much more superior. So good! I was so thrilled to find this location. I had no idea it was so close. Will definitely go back! read more

What a nice family restaurant. It has an extensive menu. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a variety of things like the crusted parmesan chicken, pot roast and some pastries. The chicken was tender tied in well with the linguine and flavorful. The pot roast was a little strong in flavor and just ok. Corn Chowder was good with some bread on the side. I was very pleasantly surprised with this visit to Mimi's. This restaurant was in our hotel parking lot and after a long day of travel we went here foe the convenience. We had 4 kids (our server was very tolerant ) and 4 adults in our party and there was truly something for everyone. Love that the kids meals come with so many sides so you don't have to choose and that you can order breakfast any time - even for dinner! The kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I appreciated that the menu indicated ways to make items vegan/vegetarian and that their were options beyond just your typical veggie burger. I had the mushroom and onion melt (minus the Brie and butter) and then swapped for a side of steamed broccoli - delicious!! My meat eating family all enjoyed their meals - burgers, steak and for the hungry kids...bread while they waited. Excellent Experience at Mimi's! My wife and I visited Mimi's on Harbor Boulevard right next to Disneyland, and it was easily one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, we noticed how spotlessly clean the place was. We were seated immediately, and our server was fantastic--incredibly polite and attentive to everything we needed. Very very sad... one of the reason I enjoy coming here is the bread service... unfortunately, there is none... when I asked the server brought out some very sad looking bread that didn't look very appealing... used to love the pumpkin loaf and sour dough... you can look at past photos and see what it used to look like... sadly it's just a memory... and the food quality and service seemed tired and lacking... the french dip was slightly cold as well as the fries... the au jus too salty... and the beef was like it came from a package... the salad leaves were not even cut up... and it was not fresh... The organization of the restaurant isn't the best, our waitress was amazing. She did great but she had like 10 tables and we were a table of 10. So I felt really bad for her. The food came out cold, and for the eggs benedict the eggs were boiled so that was interesting. The flavor was great though; the food was still yummy. Also for the mimosa flight we got served the juice in glasses and was handed a tiny serving of champagne. It wasn't enough to even fill all 3 glasses. The ambiance is so nice it's giving traditional kind of like Italian atmosphere/decorations. The mimosas are good and weekends it's $8 the food was very mid. I ordered the Sunset Chilaquiles and it wasn't even hot it was warm the chicken bits were stiff and warm as well. The pickled onions it came with seemed soggy and just not fresh. My partner ordered the Chicken and Shrimp jambalaya it was the same exact chicken used in my order and it was also stiff and unappetizing to eat knowing this is their standard for this restaurant. Bc of the lack of quality we won't be returning bc everything came out to $65 and the waiter is pushy about tips. when we clicked on screen for no tips bc we always do cash instead he commented and assumed we're going to tip and says" hmmm? no tip?" And it just made me so uncomfortable and awkward bc he assumed not knowing we were gonna leave a tip at the table. But he waited for his tip and then we just left. I was there with several friends. What they loved about Mimi's is what I disliked about it. The chicken pot pie was made with puff pastry, not piecrust. I didnt plan on leaving a review but sometimes you get service so well that you have to let the business know. Monique had the task of dealing with my confusion about trying to order delivery thru door dash not just once but twice in a 5 min window. Not only did she answer every question I had, she showed patience and care while doing so. She was so personable and lovely over the phone that despite delivery not working on door dash, I still ordered over the phone and drove to the location to pick up my self. And as soon as i walked in she said "you must be Andre" and she continued to show outstanding customer service and even made me laugh with some jokes. We got the chicken tenders and fries. Tenders were a lil over done but still good. Fries were delicious. We also got the grilled cheese and the french onion soup which was absolutely delicious. Date of Visit: January 25, 2026 at around 7:30 pm. We decided to visit Mimi's for dinner after a day at California Adventure. Half of our group had eaten there 2 times on this trip prior to us joining them, so their experiences were what brought us in. First, my husband and I love Mimi's. We often eat there when we have the opportunity. The ones nearest us are 3 hours away. We've always experienced great food and service, so we figured this one would be at least similar in nature. When we went in, it wasn't very busy. The hostess was very pleasant and kind. We visited for a few minutes, and we were seated promptly. That pretty much when the service turned from amazing to what the heck is happening here?? I'm not sure how many servers were working, but our server had 2 other tables with people that we saw our server working. They already had their food when we got there, so it shouldn't have been a big deal, right? She took our drink orders, and it took her a very long time to get a few sodas, some waters, and beer for drinks. The guys ordered Pacifico, which is always served with a lime. It didn't come with the limes, and she seemed like it was an inconvenience to get them. She didn't bring enough waters for those of us who had asked for them, and again it seemed like an inconvenience to her. The food which had apparently been better for the group on their previous visits was mediocre. Different chef? Probably. One of the kid burgers was extremely overcooked. The chicken tenders were overcooked. The medium burgers were overcooked. The fries were cold. The server didn't bother to check on us even once after the food was served. We literally had to go to the bar to ask for some refills on the soda and waters. The little dessert beignets were about the only redeeming thing about this Mimi's. I would go back to give this place another try because it's Mimi's and it sounds like we were there on an off night. read more

Had such a great time at Mimi's Café! We came in for breakfast and were not disappointed--especially with the chorizo breakfast dishes. Flavorful, hearty, and exactly what we were craving. The Bloody Marys were on point too--strong, well-balanced, and perfectly spiced. But honestly, the best part of the whole experience was our waiter/bartender (yep, the multitasker in the photo ). I went to Mimi's to take a little pip stop while at Disney land. The food was really good and there was no one in there. They almost forgot to serve us but shortly after being seated we were ordering. The French onion soup and chicken ciabatta were also very excellent.
