Cooking takes a while but it can be assumed they don't have enough cooks for how many people are usually in the building. Food is OK. Pretty much like any other Denny's. Sadly the rudeness of the waitress really put me and my family off. Denny's was clean, service was below average for Denny's {the hostess, sat, took order, and served us) she was rushed, having to seat and ring up checks. Ordered new "crazy spicy skillet" and appeared very different from menu and tv ad... very typical of most consumer advertisements nowadays. My meal was however meager in size comparison, not matching their price target in my opinion at $10.00. After taking my first bite of the potatoes, I realized that the pepper jack queso sauce had a powdery taste to them. I asked the hostess if they were made from a powdered cheese mix called "trio sauce" which sometimes has a flour base. She informed me that it was fresh pepper jack cheese. I was not fond of the chalky taste and the potatoes were stale and mushy on the inside (very typical of pre-seasoned frozen product). Upon paying my bill, I was asked "how was everything" I told them I wasn't a fan of the "cheese queso" and she asked who waited on me...after getting the attention of the hostess she expressed my concerns with the "chalky cheese" and was told abruptly "it shouldn't have that taste"...uncomfortable silence... broken by my statement "she asked me how everything was... and no I'm not looking for a comp." payed the bill and left! This isn't gonna make the list for one of the better Denny's locations. We are regular Denny's diners too. The food was burnt, service slow and lacking, bathrooms dirty. We ordered breakfast which is our favorite meal to eat at a Denny's and we usually order the same thing every time we go so we can compare truthfully. read more

So to start this crap experience of it took or server 20 plus minutes to ask us if we wanted anything to drink one we got our drinks one of the glasses were broken, also I should include the manager and a bunch of servers were all sitting around a table bsing when there were people waiting to be seated. Now let's get on to the terrible food I ordered a burger with no veggys on it and when I had got my burger it had everything on it I sent it back and I watched them just scrap it off and bring it back to me, also another burger we ordered we asked for everything on it except lettus the burger had nothing on it, also our burgers we're burnt and so was the buns. The French toast we ordered had so much cinnamon in it I was uneatable. Our fries were burnt also. Normally I don't eat at Denny's, this time was only my second. But i must say that this particular Denny's was not only beautiful inside, but the staff was AMAZING. Each individual on my bike trip was given a $10 Denny's gift card from another organization, and we all showed up around 7am (all 33 of us) ready to eat. Each waitress was fantastic and they even called in back up to help feed us all in time for our build day! I had breakfast. I also had an order to go which included their $4 biscuits and gravy. I bring the food home. My daughter says the gravy has too much salt and pepper. She does not eat it. I call Denny's. I talk to waitress that helped me. She said no problem. Next time you come in i will credit you the breakfast with your receipt. So next day i call for takeout breakfast. I talk with the manager about my bad meal. The manager acknowledged they are working with a new recipe and it is their policy not to refund or credit meals. So to confirm i ask him i have to bite the cost of yoyr bad meal. He said yes. So i paid for my takeout and walked out. To me what is $4? Apparently in this case, a bad review. read more

I know it's just a Denny's but the service is great and the food is better than you may remember I think it's worth checking out. This Denny's is better than those in the big cities. They will adjust food on the menu which is a big deal for me. They are pleasant and filled my coffee. Now that important. Great holiday treats on the menu too. What more can I say? It's a Denny's, if you like Denny's then you'll be fine with this place. Like all Denny's they make a mistake on at least one persons order per table but nothing too drastic. The food is good to average but the selling point is they serve the food quick. If you expect anything else you probably shouldn't be going to a Denny's. read more

This is a new Denny's, so it is clean and nice. The service can be slow when it's busy. Food is always good. I haven't had any unfriendly servers. Sometimes the food is not consistent with other Denny's, but other than that, it is a nice addition to eating choices in Aberdeen. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. First took 10 mins for anyone to even say boo to us. Once we were seated the wait staff didn't even seem to care there were people waiting for their food. They walk around like they are dead. They never brought syrup for my kids pancakes, sat with empty drinks for 15 mins and the food was horrible. Never again will be come here. read more

The other night me and a couple of friends were out late and wanted some food so we went to denny's. Our server (the one with the braces she was not wearing a name tag!) was quite rude and slow and we even saw her standing around while we were waiting to order we tried to flag her down as we were missing part of our order but we could not grab her attention. Finally we paid our bill and decided to leave. We didn't want to bring up anything about our missing items or our drink refills because it seemed like she was pretty busy on her phone. Okay, so this place needs a lot of help. Probably one of the worst Denny's I've been to. The carpeting is very dirty, so are the utensils we were given to use. The restaurant was not busy. Besides us, there was 3 tables. A couple more arrived after us. We ordered the grilled Salmon, which took forever to come out. The Veggie Omelet came out way before the salmon. Salmon was cooked quite well though. Veggie Omelet was very greasy. You could see the grease floating on the plate. Oh Well! But the server was awesome. She tried very hard to make us happy as she knew that the food was taking very long to come out. Although they were not busy, they still managed to get our check mixed up with another table. So we ended up paying a few cents less. But we more than made up for it with our tip to the server. They just need to get it together. We ate here for Sunday morning breakfast. The place was packed so we sat at the counter, which gave us a birds eye view of all the activity in the kitchen as well as the waitress stations. We were very impressed with the cooperation among the staff, working together to get the long list of food orders out. Despite the hectic pace and a few system glitches, everyone maintained good humor. All of the orders coming out of the kitchen was beautifully plated. Our food was delicious as well. I highly recommend the new pancakes. You can smell the vanilla in them! I am a VP of Human Resources at a major resort and I would hire any one of these employees. read more

I hesitate writing this because they are new and the manager did apologize and gave me a discount, however i believe it's important to read others experiences. I know how valuable it it's to me. I just need everyone to keep in mind they are only a few months new to the community so maybe after a while things will improve. I will update in the future when i return. I went there with my two children during a time that was during the week, not breakfast, lunch or dinner, so due to the time and being not to busy i expected not very long of a wait. The waitress was not very friendly, to begin with, and then took over twenty minutes just to come greet us, and get drink orders. After getting our drink and dinner orders it was a thirty minute wait for three soft drinks. Then another thirty to forty minutes for our lunches and another ten to get one forgotten salad that was ordered for before the meal as it was a side salad. Then another fifteen minutes to get someone's attention just too get silverware, yes you read this correct there wasn't any at the table, and everytime she came to drop something off she was off again not letting us ask for things she forgot. After waiting another fourty five minutes for my daughter's side of Mac and cheese and then a check i finally gave up and asked the manager for a check and my daughter's mac and cheese side that still hadn't Came, to go. When i told him we had been waiting for a long while for the side and check he asked the waitress for the side and she rolled her eyes and shrugged her head like she was insulted he asked. The cook pointed directly to it sitting under the warmer, and said it had been there for a long time and he called for her when it was done. They boxed it, and then apologized and gave me a discount. I personally have eaten at over three hundred different restaurants in my life and only once before did I choose not to leave a tip. Sadly today became my second. If it wasn't for the kindness of the manager, i would have given them only one star, for the food that was a little well done but ok for the most part. This place sucks. Had breakfast in the morning food was cold took the waitress over ten minutes to get us drinks before we ordered food. Then or hotel listed Denny's for to go orders. I called and placed an order to go the gal told me it would be ten minutes until pick up. I waited 15 minutes and left since the hotel was right around the corner. I went in she took my money for my order then said it would be a few minutes. After standing there almost 15 minutes I asked how long it was going to be and she said well right after you called and placed your order twenty people walked in. Ok so I ordered before all them and mine should have been made first. I told her I wanted my money back. She went and asked the " manager" and she came back saying the manager said we don't do refunds. I said I want to talk to the manager right now. So then the manager comes up making some bs excuse why my stuff isn't made and she said I don't know who told you that is was gonna be ten minutes and I said this girl right here told me!!! Then I said give me my money back I'm not waiting any longer. Then the " manager" struggled to give me a refund because she is an incompetent moron of this run down Meth infested town. Went there for lunch last week. Not very busy. The hostess was pleasant and seated us where we wanted to sit. The server finally came over and behaved ad if she didn't like us at all. Took forever to get our coffee and then meal. Took that much longer to get a refiill. We may never come back. Good service means good tip. Not too difficult to understand. read more
