But we got lucky and we were promptly seated at the counter. I had the classic breakfast plate with bacon, sausage, home fries, and fried eggs. Everything was very delicious. The bacon just had the right level of crisp to it. It looks like there are quite a few long time customers to this place, which demonstrates that the quality of the food here is probably very consistent. The service here was awesome. The manager lady (her name is Regina) was very attentive, warm, and friendly. The ambiance overall like I said is very cozy. I always enjoy a good home made breakfast in a small diner. One thing to note that is that this place is cash only.

Unfortunately, the food was mostly average to below average. The eggs were a little underdone, the home fries were slightly overcooked in spots, and the toast was pretty standard diner fare. The homemade salsa was actually a nice touch and added some flavor to the potatoes. The biggest disappointment was the corned beef hash. I was hoping for something homemade, but it reminded me of the canned version I grew up eating. The texture and flavor just weren't for me, and I ended up leaving most of it behind. The pancakes were okay but a little dense and doughy, nothing particularly memorable. On the positive side, the coffee was decent, the service was fine, and being open early is definitely a plus for travelers. Overall, I'd put this one close to 3 stars. It's convenient if you need breakfast before sunrise, but the food didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for.

This place is amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was great! It's a family owned restaurant that has been open for over 40 years! If that doesn't tell you something about this restaurant I don't know what will. The flavored coffee is to die for and so are the fresh muffins. So many flavors to try. Get the muffin grilled and you won't be disappointed. Home fries are so yummy and I always love to try a different omelette. You won't be disappointed I promise!!! read more

Simply love this place! i moved to Everett almost a year ago and just recently tried out Dempseys. The food is always great and the service is definetely above average. Its become my new morning stop before work during the week. Try to make it in on the weekends with the family as often as possible. We have yet to be dissapointed. I still cant believe the size of the pancakes every time i see them. Keep up the good work guys...will be seeing you often im sure. read more
