This place isn't just a simple dessert shop like others; it is a full-scale restaurant with countless items on the menu. My experience with the food was great, but not with the customer service. One of the host, a very friendly lady, greeted and walked us to the table. When we were ready to order, she was busy talking to other customers at the table. She spent a lot of time talking to them, although we had tried to signal her multiple times. After about 15 to 20 minutes, we got very frustrated, so another host had to come in to help us out. Other than that, everything we ordered was super delicious and nicely decorated. I really love how they named their food on the menu. Very funny in a way. I'll definitely come back to try.

Got the Boba Appetit from Demetres! The cheese foam was out of stock, but the bubble tea ice cream, brown sugar, and chewy jelly boba were still super delicious. Great spot for dessert, quick service too.

We tried the Burj Kunafa and it was delicious. the strawberries was very sweet and fresh. Definitely a must try for anyone visiting.

Wonderful crepes, great affogato and loved the vibe here. They were out of my first choice though and kept forgetting to bring us water 1 star off for this. Other than that I loved it. Great place

Wow! This is one crazy desert place! My nutty family ordered several different kinds of desserts, and quite honestly I was overwhelmed. Everything was fantastic and huge. My favorite was the red velvet cake, which was just perfect and not too sweet. You can order any kind of waffle, pancake, sundae; pretty much any sweet treat you can imagine. Desserts have fudge, chocolate, caramel, ice cream, strawberries, and berries, fresh cream... It goes on and on. They now have an entire Dubai chocolate menu, which basically means pistachio, chocolate, and kunafa dessert. The place is always packed so be prepared to wait. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table for eight people. The place is very congested, but pretty. The service was fast and the servers are very well trained. You can tailor make your desserts too. This is definitely a treat to visit!

Mangolorian Belgian waffle

The service was excellent. We were immediately greeted by the friendly hostess. Our server was also kind and attentive. The Mangolorian Belgian waffle was high quality, delicious and plated very nicely. The strawberries and bananas tasted fresh and the mango sorbet hit just the right spot. The only thing that could be improved is if the waffle was crispy.

Well, it was finally worth the hype! For the first time I finally had the chance to visit Demetres and I was quite impressed with the hype as they really take desserts to the next level! I am very impressed with the balance of flavours especially with the Sweetcar Named Devour Liège Crepe! I cannot wait for the next visit!

Huge portions. Shareable. I enjoy dining here if you need a sweet tooth fix. Hits the spot in the summer

I've come here for years and I love it! If you're craving desserts this is the right place for you. The crapes are absolutely delicious and they have so many dessert options. The restaurant itself is very cute. Ascetically pleasing. The only thing is sometimes is very busy so the waiters are managing a lot but all of them are very kind and welcoming.

The Last Straw Belgian Waffle

Today was a very hot and sunny day, I came here when it just shortly open so it wasn't busy at all. In fact I was the only customer. There were plenty of seatings and the AC was turned on. I was seated immediately and the server was pretty nice and attentive. I ordered the Last Straw Belgian Waffle which consist of vanilla ice cream, strawberry and a strawberry glaze. The waffle was made fresh and kind of melted the ice cream as it was hot. The strawberries were tart and the ice cream balanced it out. Overall I enjoyed this, it was not too sweet and good portion to share between two people.

Banana brûlée waffle

Demetres is a cute family restaurant uptown Toronto and feels family style! I got ice cream and waffles and the waffles were so crispy and warm- perfectly complementing the cold ice cream. I got creme Brulee banana, which was caramel sweet and a little crunchy from some granola I believe. it's a perfect sharing size! a really big portion. I loved the plating design of the dessert, decorated with icing sugar and the caramel banana- it was almost too cute to eat! I couldn't finish, but it's definitely a cute Date dessert!

Banana split - smallest scoops ever and 1.5 banana used

Ice cream portion is small now. The ratio to crepe or waffle is not good. Honestly they're really gone downhill. Service is good. Ambiance is nothing special. I'm not going to be returning and I used to come pretty regularly.

so yummy! the strawberry ice cream is not too sweet, this location had seating available right away and the server was nice and informative.

Great desserts but evening time usually has a lineup to get in and service is a bit slower due to all the tables full, but worth the wait

I had just never been there…read morebefore but one Saturday I was making extra deliveries during the Christmas rush and needed a coffee. This place was my saviour. It wasn't until a few later until June 2025 I would join The Mt. Dennis 5K Fun Run Club that is on every Saturday. Every 5K Run starts and finishes at The Supercoffee. After the run each participant is awarded a Free small drink of their choice. After a few weeks I really started to notice how busy this little coffee place is and I guess that's one of the reasons this shop has now been here for 12 years. It's been here for 12 years because the coffee is amazing. It's just not the coffee but there's nice things to eat with your coffee. There's muffins, cookies, danishes, nut bars (energy bars - no sugar added) There's bananas and empanadas too. Some of the items are made at the Supercoffee, but the other items are prepared by local bakeries. All the staff that work here are very nice and friendly too. This place is a nice gem for this community, and has a nice atmosphere soft lighting, soft music playing. There are a few big tables inside as well with 5 small tables. You can work here on your laptop however there's restrictions on the weekends as space is needed so it's not allowed. You would be better to use the library across the street. In the summer months there's a nice patio in the back as well with music playing there too. If you live in or live close by to the York, South Weston area and specifically Mt. Dennis you should stop by and get yourself a coffee at this most amazing establishment.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

I did like the flavor of the regular hot matcha latte more, plus they made a very cute bunny latte art on it! Inside is small with minimal seatings but has a cool ambience for hanging out.

I'd been hearing that Doc's Green Door Lounge was one of the better cocktail bars in the city, but…read moresince I rarely make it out to the Junction area, I didn't think I'd be checking the place out anytime soon. So when an errand brought me to the Junction, I was excited to stop by Doc's. We showed up around prime time but still managed to snag an awesome table on the patio. I can't say no to a martini, so Doc's Dirty Martini ("plymouth gin, guerra dry vermouth, house brine, blue cheese olive") was an obvious first choice. And yeah, it's excellent. Dirty martinis have the tendency to be a little too briny for my taste, but the balance in this one was just about perfect. I'd go so far as to say that this is basically as good as a dirty martini gets. For my second drink, I was extremely intrigued by the Rum Old Fashioned ("el dorado 5, el dorado 12, varnelli fantasia punch, coconut syrup, tiki bitters"), so that's what I got. And oh boy, is it ever a top notch beverage. It does have the flavor profile of a typical old fashioned, but it's been elevated to ridiculous degrees. The rum really makes a difference, and now I can't imagine drinking a traditional old fashioned. (I want to also single out the complimentary bar snacks, which were wasabi peas and some kind of crunchy plantain or banana-type concoction. They were truly excellent.) Yeah, Doc's Green Door Lounge is legit. I'll definitely make it a point to hit the Junction more often just to come back.
