This was such a sweet little Valentine's treat. We grabbed the Hotbox with all three flavours, OG, cinnamon sugar, and the weekly feature. They rotate a new feature every week, and when we went it was the ruby rosewater glaze. It was light and not overly sweet, and the heart sprinkles were a cute touch. I just wish the rosewater flavour came through a bit more. The OG was nicely glazed and sweet, but pretty similar to the ruby rosewater. The cinnamon sugar was the standout for us. Classic, perfectly coated, and it had the best texture of the three. All the donuts were super soft and fresh without being sugar bombs, which we appreciate. Safe to say this box disappeared very quickly. No leftovers, no regrets. read more

So happy to have realized they opened a store in North York! They are cute mini donuts and made fresh so you always get hot, soft donuts that are not overly sweet. I went around 6PM on a Sunday and there was no line, but a few pick up orders so I had to wait about 15 minutes before my order was ready. I love that the one flavour rotates weekly so there is always something new for you to try. My favourite is usually the cinnamon sugar, which is one of the regular flavours, but I tried the strawberry shortcake (their flavour last week) and it was very good. While it is impressive what Alex White has been able to achieve with 4 COPS doughnuts locations over the past 4 years, I regret to say that I did not like the doughnuts. These are not doughnuts. The dough is low-quality and has a weird texture that I did not like. These mini doughnuts have nothing to do with real doughnuts. Real doughnuts consist of simple ingredients - fatty milk, salt, sugar, egg, flour, butter, and yeast. The dough cannot be squeezed out of a machine like they do at COPS but needs to be handled manually, by hand.
