    Oh My Goodness!
    Simone A.

We finally were able to catch this spot and were not disappointed! We were greeted cheerfully, even though they were almost closing! The environment is that of a small bakery, well light, smells amazing, with the remaining baked goodies clearly displayed! We got the pistachio, Nutella, creme brulee and a cream filled donut! Pistachio - it was fresh, not doughie, the pistachio cream filling was amazing..overall not too sweet and delightful. Note: there was something on the tough crunchy side in the topping...maybe remove this or inform customers, in case they have sensitive teeth. Creme Brulee - same as above, the Crunch from the initial bite was just as if you were breaking into the top of a creme brulee , however this filling was a little more sweet! Nutella - chocolatie, and sweet! I'm not big on over sweet stuff, but got rave reviews from our company. Cream filled - can't remember the type filling, but was a little more doughie, still good those! Overall I would recommend this location!

The morning after the Leafs game I had an early start in Allan Gardens and then was making my way back through Church-Wellesley right when I spotted this joint on Maitland within two blocks of where a big bulk of the American Queer as Folk was filmed. The donut-eria had just opened for the morning. I checked the menu on my phone out on the street and I saw exactly what I wanted: a divine Simon Spier-inspired Oreo donut - sign me up! The place was empty when I walked in, that can often be a sign to behold. The display case had no Oreo so I asked the worker what the sitch was. After first being told I had looked up the wrong menu for the wrong store (despite googling Unholy Donuts on Maitland St [this exact location]) which was an interesting customer service choice, followed by her admission a breath later than this store DID have an Oreo donut earlier in the week but none today. Gaslighting supreme lmao. I was already in the store and needed to eat before heading to Pearson so I picked out the only appealing option they had, the Earl Grey, since Cartems in Vancouver made the absolute best Earl Grey donut I have ever had so I needed to see what the cool part of Toronto could do in reply. It was 5 CAD pre-tax so like 10 CAD after tax, so more expensive than Cartems so I expected more. What they do right, since this is a pretty negative review overall: the donut comes wrapped up in a nice little box so you can advertise your purchase to all of the unhoused gentlesirs you will walk past in Church-Wellesley. This was the most disappointing donut I have ever had. Keep in mind I visited right after they opened so these were literally the freshest the donuts would ever be under normal donuttery rules. Otherwise why would they open before they are ready to serve customers their best possible donut? The donut was not warm, it was cold-cold. The traditional donut-meat part (the bottom part beneath the glazing) was incredibly dry and bland. The Earl Grey glazing was more like chocolate bark in that it was so dry the sheet of glaze cracked (like a dry riverbed) and then sadly flaked off onto the edges of the box; and the glaze was incredibly salty, like that was the whole mouth feel and flavour of just three many salt. Nothing about the donut was moist, fresh, or tasty. Come here if you want to try the worst donut I have ever had in Hockeyland.

Very unique donuts! This is what makes this place special. Owner is friendly and opens late!

maple bacon, Nutella and the third I don't remember

Omg wow! This is totally worth every calorie! I split the maple bacon and Nutella with my friend so we could both try it, and there hasn't been something I regretted more when both of these two donuts hit my mouth.... I swear I would have been happier eating both of them myself! The donut texture resembles Krispy Kreme, but the flavours, they are certainly unlike something I've tasted before. Each donut was melt in your mouth delicious. The maple bacon, I was not expecting to have sweet crunchy bacon pieces, the filling was a little less flavourful than I like, I wish it was a little sweeter, but I ate the bacon right off my donut before eating the rest of it, so it could have been me not eating the donut the way it was intended The hazelnuts were crunchy, and fresh, well roasted, this donut was filled with a Harry dose of Nutella filling, and what ever chocolate frosting was used on top was light and fluffy, and completely complimented the dense hazelnut filling. The store was small and clean, staff were super friendly. They also had vegan options available. Can't wait to try to rest!

These donuts were pretty good, they were pretty sweet. I got the Nutella, and Ferrero rocher. They tasted really similar. There is a lot of chocolate on top but if you're a chocolate lover I'd definitely go for those. The service was quick and simple, friendly staff. The store is really small and there's barely any room to sit so it's better for takeout.

What a cute do night shop! The staff is really nice and super helpful. Their flavors are unique and much better than going to a chain donut spot if you're in town. I enjoyed the London Fig Latte donut and the Nutella bomb donut, and a foamy latte that hit the spot. Service is fast and they are right in the heart of town.

The perfect cinnamon and sugar donut. Fluffy and perfectly topped. And on the hottest day in Toronto history; the AC much appreciated!

Great place for a donut. Have a variety of flavours but regularly add unique options to their menu. This weekend we tried the Black Forest and it was delicious! Worth a stop in to try.

Such a hidden gem! Every donut looked amazing and I look forward to trying more flavours. I got the ferrero rocher one and as a choc lover, I loved it. It had a chocolate cream inside that was actually fluffy and light in texture. It was also pretty big I could barely finish it on my own. The workers were super friendly and had great recommendations.

The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!

At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. Perfect timing and novelty wins in this donut-obsessed city. Skip it or hit it? If you're willing to shell out for treats like BBT, there's no reason not to give artisanal donuts a try at least once.
