Tried two donuts - the apple fritter and Ferrero rocher (filled). The apple fritter was tasty but had little to no apple filling in it. I wouldn't get that one ever again. However, the Ferrero rocher one was pretty amazing. If I didn't know what kind of donut it was, I wouldn't have ever guessed it was hazelnut. It tasted more like a gooey brownie filling with some tiny bits of nuts in it. But it has an amazing amount of filling and I'd definitely try a few others next time. My rating would be a true 3.5 but the apple fritter was only dough and brought the rating down.
Donut Shops are a special gem in any city and I think I might of just found my new favourite vegan donuts. I was walking down Queen Street East when I noticed Bloomer's. This small donut shop had treats in the window, merchandise, and the smell from the street just pulled me in. I was greeted by a friendly staff member when I entered and it only took me about thirty seconds to know that I needed to try Oreo donut. This donut was fat, covered in oreo crumbs, and was topped off with some chocolate drizzle that gave it that extra something. When I took my first bite of this donut, I couldn't help but notice that the dough was incredible, next level incredible. It wasn't cakey dough, but just a good amount of top notch dough that mixed with the toppings just made it the best vegan donut I think I've ever had. Overall, Bloomer's is my new favourite donut shop in Toronto, hands down. I loved every single thing about this place and as I write this almost a month later I can't help but crave another one. The staff was friendly, the donut was insanely delicious, and the location was top notch. Vegan? Not Vegan? Like Donuts? Eat Food? Either way, come get yourself a dang donut.
I like their rose pistachio donut otherwise not a big fan of stuffed donuts. Too oozy. Service is quick. I always pick up so did not bother on ambience. Try their rose pistachio and Ferrero rocher. This is purely vegan so that's a plus.
Don't be intimidated by the appearance of these donuts. I made that mistake when I was gifted a box of 4 by a colleague at work. When I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by how big and overly sweet the donuts looked. I felt so full just looking at them. I tried two of their donuts (cinnamon sugar and birthday cake) and to my surprise, they weren't too sweet at all. They were actually the perfect amount of sweetness and my favourite part is that they're light and don't make you feel gross after eating them. Really yummy! I can't speak much in terms of value since they were gifted and I'm not sure what the price was.
Wish I would have known about this place sooner as I was on vacation for 4 days. I was pleasantly surprised that all items are vegan at this place! I ended up getting the tiramisu donut to go. It was so good! Lasted longer than I expected considering I wanted to eat the whole thing in one sitting. Next time I visit this is the first place I go for dessert LOL.
Had the Homer Simpson donut and coffee it was delicious service is great lovely atmosphere I look forward to dropping by.
Fantastic vegan doughnuts. No one would know the difference. They stand up to the test with any doughnut, vegan or not. There's something, a kind of spice or fragrant herb that I taste in their dough that really gives it that distinctive flavour, and aroma. Successful operation they have going here which hopefully inspires even more people to create good quality, tasty food, without animal by-products. If you can't make it to one of their own stores, they can also be found at Mos Mos coffee shops. Not surprisingly, as they pair perfectly with a coffee. Treat yourself. Enjoy!
Popped into this place after finding it on the Toronto Vegetarian Association directory. Everything is vegan and the have a few gf treats. The donuts are huge and have many unique flavours but they are not gf. I got 2 boxes of 4 donuts to give friends and I got one gf vanilla sprinkles cupcake for myself. The cupcakes are frozen but I ate it several hours later so it was defrosted. It was so good!! They should make a gf donut! Use your Toronto Veg card for a discount:) Due to Covid only 2 people allowed in at a time and they have acrylic on the counters.
Open during Covid pandemic no line up I ordered two donuts and a brownie my total came to $11.50 , these specialty treats are on the pricey side I visited after 1pm in the afternoon and the two flavors I wanted to try were already sold out. I should of called before driving all the way from brampton. To not waist my trip I settled on trying the mocha and cinnamon sugar flavored donuts. The donuts are huge and fluffy I tasted them 8/10. The donuts themselves taste delicious but a little dense for me, but for many that's preferred. The flavors were delicious for both but if they were a tad bit richer it would be perfect. I didn't care for the brownie I would give it a 5/10. The texture was more cake like and the chocolate was lacking flavor.
Vegan but it had a super yeasty texture! The donuts were massive, tasted fresh, soft, but had that amazing chew. Definitely my fav type of donut texture! We had the tiramisu and lemon blueberry. Both were generously stuffed. Overall, a great sweet treat to share.
Above average donuts. The matcha was isn't that good, really doesn't take of match enough. The maple walnut is much better. Strong maple taste.
Pretty good donuts, though a bit overpriced in my opinion. I tried some fall (apple pie and pumpkin spice) and regular (tiramisu and cookies and cream) donuts. All were quite soft and flavourful, and at least were a nice change from Tims.
I love bloomers. Thank you for making the best donuts! I'd never guess that they were vegan- so delicious!
Got a box of 6 donuts, including a strawberry, chocolate, apple fritter, lemon poppyseed, etc. All the donuts were so soft, fluffy and tasty! The interior is cute and cozy, I loved everything about it. Service was also quick and everyone was very nice. This spot sells only vegan donuts. The prices are very reasonable. Would very much recommend this to everyone! read more
I'm pretty sure I'd tried Bloomer's at some point in the past, but I couldn't really remember and how can you not be skeptical of a vegan donut joint? The crazy thing is that Bloomer's outdoes most of its competition, vegan or otherwise, and I'd go so far as to say they've got some of the best donuts in the city. On this particular occasion, I got to try their Red Velvet and Pistachio cream filled offerings. Both donuts are almost intimidatingly large but that's never stopped me before. They're excellent. I especially loved the Red Velvet, as it contained the flavor I associate with that type and was full of delectable cream filling. I really appreciated that neither donut was too sweet. The Pistachio was terrific, too. Bloomer's is great, and it still blows my mind that they're completely vegan! read more

Price is way too steep for decent donuts. We got the creme brulee donut and we specifically asked if the donut was warm. The lady behind the counter said it's warm. So we took it. We stepped out and started eating. It was not warm at all. We brought it home and warmed it a tad bit and then it was good. But that's what we do with Krispy Kreme donuts too. So we felt like we paid a premium on these donuts for a fancy looking store on Queen Street. read more

Bloomers is the go to place for any vegan sweet cravings. Their cakes are delicious as well as their donuts. They make birthday cakes for special occasions. You would not know these are vegan unless someone told you. I got the pistachio rose donut and maple one recently. They were both very good even though I thought the maple flavour to be subtle. Their cakes and donuts are obviously on the sweet side. If you leave your donuts in the box for a bit, you can see the grease slowly starting to transfer on the box. Very friendly staff. Try their special seasonal flavours too ! They only allow 2 customers inside at a time at the moment. read more
Main complaint: fillings and toppings are WAY too sweet. Better to go for a nice consistency and subtle flavour than hit you over the head with pure sugar. We had 4 kinds of filled donuts and 3 kinds of GF cupcake. 2 of the cupcakes were fresh and the one was day old. That wasn't cool. The London Fog had zero flavour of caramel, chocolate, black tea or bergamot. It tasted like nothing. I love that they offer GF and use organic flour, but the icing is inedible as were all the "cream" fillings in the donuts. Sorry, needs to be healthier for me and my gf. Not out style. read more
Can donuts be meaty? Because that is the word I feel most describes the donuts at Bloomers. Very filling, flavours are delicious and go well with the base. Perfectly balanced in its simplicity. I walked away satisfied and for a little over $3 a piece I honestly think this is a steal. I love supporting local businesses and if you feel the same then please show some love to Bloomers because these are donuts you dough-nut want to miss out on. Lol! That joke was not original but the flavour of these donuts were! read more

The apple fritter and carrot fritter was good, but it was disappointing to see that you created the same amount of trash for our land fills with an eat-in order vs take-out. They can and should do better. It's 2023 and we all know what we're doing to the planet. read more

What a fantastic donut! Honestly, had you simply given me this donut and not told me it was vegan, I would not have known the difference. I went on a Sunday afternoon with the intention of getting the seasonal carrot cake donut but, alas, it was sold out. I went with the Ferraro Rocher and what a fantastic donut it was. It was extremely and fresh, and filled with flavour although it did not taste overly sweet. I finished one and thought long and hard about picking up another but told myself I'd eat until next time to get the carrot cake donut I was initially craving. I went to the location on Queen and it's centrally located, surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants (so this can be an easy desert!) price came to $4.60 (with tip) and the shop was very COVID friendly allowing only two at a time. Looking forward to my next visit already! read more
I stopped by Bloomer's for a little sweet treat while I was running a few errands on Queen West. It's a beautiful space that definitely catches your eye. Upon entering I was greeted with a very cheerful hello by the friendly staff who were willing to answer all my questions and gave me my drink recommendations. When I arrived it was towards the end of the day however there was still a great selection of pastries available. There were lots of interesting flavors and beautiful donuts and I'd love to come back and try a more adventurous flavor! I tried their sugar donut. It was very fluffy, yet the inside was a bit denser. It's a very filling donut, not too sweet yet satisfies your sweet tooth! It was a little heavy for me and just a tad greasy but this is just preference - it was a delicious donut!! :) The iced tea was great! It came unsweetened which was really great. Tea tasted really quality! I will definitely come by another time for some cookies! read more

THE BEST DONUTS! This has nothing to do with the fact that they are vegan donuts, they are just amazing donuts. The rose pistachio one is actually amazing and they are all so insta worthy as well which is a bonus. I want to come back and try all of them! It's great for me too because there's a coffee shop near yonge and bloor that carries their donuts so I don't have to travel as far to get them. Waiting to go back! read more
