Previously, I had cheaped out with another vendor on my tree service and the results were very poor where I was stuck looking at my neighbors house and ugly trees for a year+ lol. I was referred to Del's by a buddy and I'm sure glad I called them. My buddy gave them my cell number and they called right away and set up an appointment for an estimate the next day. My Queen palm had overgrown the area and was making a big mess all the time. It had grown up to 60-70' tall and I didn't want it to fall one day in a storm. A tree that large could cause a lot of damage. I met them the next day and they beat two other estimates I had and said they could do the job the very next morning. We agreed on the details and they showed up promptly on time the next morning. The entire job was done extremely safe and very quickly. I think they took 2 hours to complete the project including the stump grinding and cleanup. Totally professional job! Very impressed with Dels Tree experts called for a quote and within a few hours was at my house and provided quotes for the job and some other options for additional Palms at my house. He was direct and to the point however I believe gave very completive price and one I was happy with, if I had additional work done would have been very good for the amount of work. Unlike other contracts that I called in the past the phone was answered and immediately and they were very friendly and helpful and did not have to leave voice mails which often do not get returned. The crew arrived as scheduled the next day with brand new equipment and all uniformed and quickly got on with the work. They did everything that was discussed and operated safely, effectively and with respect to the surrounding plants and the tree. They did an excellent clean up and removed all debris and leaves from my house and the neighbors. The work was great and really cut back my tree which was getting very large. They did a poor job topping off a cypress tree and left the top uneven with one part clearly higher than the rest--check out the picture. Over the course of several weeks I tried to get them to come out to fix it and they failed to do so. Very disappointed because they could have fixed it pretty quickly. read more

Had a large avocado tree (30' tall) completely removed, stump and all. Also, removed a stone planter that surrounded the tree. They showed up as promised with a large crew ready to work and had the entire tree, stump, and planter removed in about 2 hours. They cleaned up the area nicely, you would not even know they were there with how clean they left it. Excellent service and fair price. read more

Dels came out today and trimmed three large trees in our yard in Irvine. One of the guys we talked to has cut our trees in 2011, 2014 and 2017. They did a fantastic job. Trees look great, the picked up every little branch, they were in and out in a couple of hours, and their pricing was competitive. It's ten years now that I have been using them, through Jorge, and he has always done a great job for me. Thanks to Adrienne and Jorge for the pricing quote and the management. These guys did some work for my neighbor who was not at home at the time, they rang my bell and knocked repeatedly at 7:20 AM. When we didn't respond fast enough, a guy stood in my walkway and yelled, "Hello". Is this real life? Who does this? I believe civil code here is 8AM before you can do this kind of work. Then, they took their breaks leaning on my daughter's car. EXCUSE ME? Completely unprofessional and RUDE. They might do good work, I don't know, but it'll leave your neighbors really pissed off. read more

Abraham and his crew were great. They showed up on time, cleared out 5 huge agave cacti and 4 palm trees, as well as trimmed back some other trees that were threatening power lines. Their team swooped into my back yard and had the job finished in about 4-hours and my yard was cleaner than before they got here. Showed up on time. Did okay job taking down trees but left the stumps and broke a sprinkler and plant. Left a mess. They somewhat fixed the sprinkler after i made them but had attitude. In a hurry to leave. It was alot of money so I expected better service. read more

Very disappointed. We paid $400 for 3 palms and 3 trees. The clean up was poor. They broke a sprinkler in our backyard and said it was like that when they got here. It was not. We take pride in our yards and just had them redone. If they had come back to fix the sprinkler and taken the time to clean up, they would have received more stars. They did do a good job on the trees. A little more effort and integrity and they would be a pretty good tree service. We will not have them back. They are too rushed and not willing to take responsibility for items that they break. Not worth it at all. read more

Jorge was scheduled to arrive at my home for a quote on a Saturday morning at 9:00am. He showed up a half hour early and I wasn't even dressed yet because I was taking my time on my day off. He went into the backyard, counted trees and gave me a $700 quote. When I accepted it, he then said that there was another tree he missed and so it would be $800. I accepted and his crew came back the same day at 12:00 as promised. At that time he tried to up-sell me on having more trees done in our front yard and he wouldn't accept no for an answer. Well, his crew did a great job and topped off the trees on our embankment and removed the branches in about 1 1/2 hours. When I gave him his $800 check, he said, it's $900! I was NOT happy and had to argue with him and remind him that he gave me the $800 quote. He wanted to give me his business cards and I refused them and told him I wouldn't use him again.
