We own a home in Corona del Mar and highly recommend Favor Tree Care. Owners Tony and Cesar and their crew expertly pruned and re-staked several trees on our compact lot. They made excellent recommendations on what branches to remove and took great care with our home and neighboring properties. We are extremely happy with the work they did. If you are looking for a professional and knowledgeable tree company, look no further than Favor Tree Care! We look forward to working with them again. read more

Cesar and his father, Antonio, and their crew, just completed trimming all our trees, bushes and plants. Then, they completely refurbished our entire irrigation system. We had no idea how poorly the old system was functioning. They explained what they wanted to do, giving specific information about each different tree, and why they made their recommendations. In short, they are the first real "arborists" we have ever worked with. We felt their knowledge and work was genuinely at a level above any other garden or landscape service we have used before. We have about a half-acre, and Favor Tree Care has a customer for life. Thank you Cesar and Antonio! read more

I highly recommend Favor Tree Care. We had an overgrown tree in our front yard and a giant bird of paradise in our backyard. They really needed to be trimmed and shaped. I called Favor Tree Care and Cesar picked up after one ring. That is so rare! Cesar and Tony came over that week to give us an estimate. They were on time and very knowledgeable. They gave us a fair price. They also arrived on time the day they trimmed our trees. They had a wood chipping truck and lots of equipment. They cleaned up the debris well. We are really happy with how the trees turned out. They did a great job. We will use Favor Tree Care again to maintain our trees. read more

Favor Tree Care was great to work with. Cesar is a really good communicator - responsive, helpful, and polite. The pricing was competitive for a lot of overdue tree-trimming in my backyard, and the work was done in a timely manner without any scheduling problems or other glitches. It was a really smooth experience and I recommend Favor highly! read more

The Favor team was great and highly recommended. They were efficient and friendly, very professional and thorough. We have trees that were growing into power lines above the yard and they trimmed them down safely and with great skill. We checked pricing from three different services and Favor was a the best value. We will hire them again without hesitation. read more

Cesar communicated with us through out the project (and the weather challenges) and left us with a beautiful tree at a good value. The team did a wonderful job cleaning up. We are very happy with the work. read more

I am thrilled with the quick response and the care that went into trimming a behemoth of a magnolia tree. They also included haul away of the limbs. I had previously contacted 4 other 5-star tree trimming specialists, even spoke with them all but was never contacted back and no one ever came out for a consultation. Cesar from Favor Tree answered my phone call within two rings early Saturday morning shortly after they opened and had me explain what I wanted and send a few pictures. He then told me he'd be out the same day for a consultation and estimate, and he showed up on time, explained how he would trim the tree and even checked to make sure our resident crows were not yet nesting! He gave me a very reasonable quote. We scheduled for two days later between 7:30-8am and again, Cesar and his team showed up promptly. Everyone was polite and professional and they completed the job safely and efficiently and cleaned up all the large limbs. I am so grateful and completely satisfied! Thanks again to Cesar and team! read more

Favor Tree Care did a great job trimming our overgrown ficus. The tree was ~25 feet tall and a big mess; within 2 hours, it was hard pruned and the debris completely cleaned up by their team of 3. Cesar responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He came out and gave me an estimate which I felt was fair. (I did get another estimate from a different company as well.) We had to reschedule our appointment for the trimming of 3 trees and removal of 3 others trees due to the rain, but he and his crew of 2 men showed up on time on the rescheduled date. Cesar asked if we had talked to our neighbor about the tree trimming since 3 of the trees hung over my wall into their yard. I had forgotten to, so he went over himself to talk to my neighbors. Cesar and his crew completed the work quickly and neatly, throwing a large tarp over my pool to catch the leaf debris. I requested that he take more off of one of the trees in my front yard, and he did so gladly. He did a great job trimming my hugely overgrown lemon tree and even fertilized it for me. Cesar was easy to communicate with and responded to my text messages in a timely manner. I will definitely use Favor Tree Care again! read more

Yelp community delivers once again! I am so grateful to you all. We were searching for someone to do a heavy prune on our beloved champaca magnolia tree. We didn't like the company the previous owners used. That guy was aggressive, tried to upsell, and even suggested we cut back our avocado tree (which if he looked was starting to fruit)! We knew he was going to butcher our tree and collect his check. I wanted an arborist who knew what they're doing, someone with an ISA certification. Caesar fit the bill. He was always timely- from initial quote to responding to my texts to showing up on the day of the job. He and his team made sure every garden decor/fixture was moved properly so they wouldn't be damaged during the process. The items were thoughtfully placed somewhere in the yard. They cleaned up after the job and put everything back in place. I am very pleased with my tree's haircut and will be calling Caesar in the future for our other trees. read more

They worked on our trees and did an excellent job. Very communicative and mindful of neighbors. Will definitely work with them again.

Cesar and his team went above and beyond helping us with the many trees on our property! They removed some trees, ground up some stumps, removed dead branches, added fertilizer+mulch where needed, and properly pruned everything else! We all enjoyed watching their progress and will now be calling them annually to help us maintain our trees. read more

I had a positive experience with Cesar and his crew. I called out 3 different companies for estimates, and Favor's was reasonable, so I went with him. He and his crew worked diligently and made sure I was happy with the work. I had a big job as I had 8 trees and a tall giant wall/hedge that needed to be trimmed. Cesar worked with me to schedule the work on a specific day of the week that I needed the work to be done. Cesar asked questions when he worked, to make sure the tree was trimmed to my expectations. If I had any issues with the way the trees were trimmed, I talked with Csear and it was addressed immediately with his crew. While working, if Cesar noticed anything additional in my yard that needed to be addressed, that was outside of the scope of his work, he pointed it out to me, so that I was aware. This is the extra customer service that I was not expecting, but greatly appreciated, and I believe something that makes Cesar stand out from his competitors. Cesar helped me take care of a couple of these extra issues at NO extra charge (he cut a small tree that was leaning against the fence line, and also trimming an extra limb from a neighbor's tree that was breaking our shared fence). He also noticed I had a broken valve for my sprinkler system. I asked him for a quote and he came back at a later date to fix it. This broken valve had my water irrigation constantly leaking, and had Cesar not pointed it out, I wouldn't have known. When the work was finished, Cesar walked through the property to make sure I was happy with the work. I feel Cesar treats my yard like his own and really pays attention and takes care of big and small details. I would definitely use him again in the future and I definitely recommend him. read more

I just got done with a tree trimming project and chose Favor Tree Care to help me with it which turned out exactly the way I wanted. I met with a few other providers for the same project and some were too expensive and others didn't seem trustworthy. When Favor Tree Care arrived for an estimate, they laid out the work plan and estimated time frame to complete along with the cost which seemed reasonable. We set up a time to get the project done and they showed up on time and got everything done exactly the way they said it would. They even cleaned up afterward and my backyard was even cleaner than before. Overall, I would certainly hire these guys again for future projects. 2 thumbs up!!! read more

WOW! All I can say is, this is by far the BEST company to work with when it comes to tree care, outdoor lighting and anything in that realm. They are amazing! Cesar is so honest, reliable, kind and thorough! He treats his team with respect and they do the best job for the best price! You can tell they take pride in their work. They made sure to protect all my concrete after cutting my big trees and left the tarps for a week to avoid getting tree sap all over my concrete like the last company did. They showed up on time and did everything they promised and more. I finally found a great company that I can go to long term for all my front and backyard needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Cesar and his team from Favor Tree Care, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their service. They did a BRILLIANT job trimming my neighbor's 65-year-old, HUGE trees that hung over my yard. From the very beginning, Cesar stood out. He showed up exactly when he said he would to provide a quote, which was very reasonable. He was kind, professional, and gave me confidence that I was making the right choice. On the day of the trimming, Cesar and his crew arrived on time and worked efficiently and meticulously. They did an outstanding job on the trees - they look better than I had hoped! What impressed me the most was their attention to detail; they took great care to protect all of my outdoor furniture and plants, ensuring nothing was damaged. I received quotes from four different companies, but Cesar and his team were the only ones that gave me the confidence that the job would be done right. And they did not disappoint! I will absolutely hire Favor Tree Care again in the future and will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Thank you, Cesar, for your exceptional service! read more

Cesar, Tony and their crew did an amazing job! The city had recently let us know that our invasive vine had crept up to obscure a street sign and was on its way to block a traffic light. The job was too big and dangerous, and definitely called for professional help. Fortunately, I found Favor Tree Care, and they lived up to their high ratings. Cesar was on time for his free estimate. We have a lot of palm trees of all kinds: king, queen, New Zealand, Mediterranean, and the Giant Phoenix Palm. Cesar was prompt and reasonable in his free estimate. He scheduled the job quickly and with his crew did a top-notch job on trimming all the palms most thoroughly and extra beautifully. The Phoenix palm was especially difficult because of its long thorns, and abundance of seeds. They also cleaned everything up very well. Cesar came out to trim several trees for me today and I am astonished! His work is impeccable, he is so kind and accommodating, very easy to work with.
