Delish Bubble Tea is our next stop after film-going at the Moviehouse & Eatery around the corner from 121. I usually order some combo of mango or pineapple flavor in a slush, with my usual add-ins of boba and lychee jelly. Delish's slushes tend to be more "snowy" than others, so it's almost like getting a smoothie, minus the dairy/milk. What I like about Delish Bubble Tea is the variety of Filipino snacks and baked goods available in the deli case as well as made-in-house treats. I love that they stock one of my fave childhood snacks, mamon especial, sourced from Leelin Bakery. Also on a recent visit, they had fresh baked ube turnovers, which were very tasty. Delish's dine-in area is comfortable and great for groups who want to lounge around and socialize. Now that I know they've expanded their Filipino dessert and snack offerings, I'll be sure to drop by more often after going to the movies! read more

Out in McKinney, you have few options for food and drinks. I always end up driving to Plano off the 75 or to frisco. Wanted boba tea tonight, so I figured I'd try the only boba place close to me on the 121 and Custer Road. This place does not have that large of a drink menu compared to places I'm used to, but they do offer tea, milk tea, blended drinks, and more - all in multiple flavors. They also have a decent assortment of jelly and popping boba. No pudding or salted cheese. I prefer green or black tea vs. blended drinks as it's hard to find a place that uses fruit instead of powder for blended drinks. I also never get popping boba. Tonight, I had the a jasmine green tea (no extra flavor), 0 sugar, slight bit of honey, boba, and lychee jelly. The drink came out in a proper sealed cup that allows for thorough mixing. It had an appropriate amount of boba, maybe slightly low on ice but less is better then iced down, aromatic jasmine green tea, and nice texture on the lychee jelly. The down side to me was that the boba was maybe slightly overcooked. Not to a degree where it stuck together, but it had a little more mush then I think is correct. Also, the lychee jelly didn't have that much natural sweetness. Neither point would keep me from coming back. The staff were very friendly and fast. 5/5 here. If you live in McKinney and are tired of 20 minute drives for decent drinks, this is a decent alternative. read more

Love this place! My family and I tried it for the first time today and had a great experience. First, the woman taking our order was a doll. Extremely kind, sweet and fast! They have a ton of varieties of bubble tea to choose from along with different flavors of popping bubbles and jelly bubbles. I had the tropical tea with lychee popping bubbles, so good! They have so many more beverages as well along with macaroons and meat buns that I can't wait to try. I have a feeling this will be my daily stop before work for a delish bubble tea! Unfortunately this bubble tea place is one of the worst we've tried in the area. The fruit flavors are fake, pumped from plastic jugs. The boba is too soft and mushy. Best to go to Bobaland for real watermelon slushes and fresh, chewy boba. read more

I went into Delish Bubble Tea for the first time today and I am so happy I did. I cannot say enough kind words about Delish and the owner Luchie. Luchie was happy to help me navigate through the menu and made me a delicious jasmine honey tea with mango (my favorite) bobas. I hit the jackpot finding this delish tea location. The shop had quite a few bakery treats such as colorful french macaroons Madeline's and custom cake pops to name a few. Not only did Luchie provide excellent customer service, she made a delicious tea at a very reasonable price. I plan on making Delish my goto bubble tea store. One of the original bubble tea places before it became a trend and they started popping up everywhere. Delish is by far the best bubble tea around. The boba is always consistent in texture and flavor. The owner doesn't cut corners and you can taste the authenticity in the recipes. So cool! I was trying to find a place like this near to me but the closest ones are still pretty far. The environment is pretty nice- lots of kids and families today, but it's nice to see it a little busier after reading other reviews of it being empty. It could be a little cleaner, but they have a small staff and are sort of busy right now, so I can give them a break. The service was more than agreeable for me. As for quality, I'm probably not a good judge of that, since I got something completely new. I got a Thai tea with a turmeric/milk base. As ive never ever had one before, I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's good just for what it is- doesn't taste funky or stale or anything. I love bubble tea. This is the best place I've found for bubble tea. So what makes it so much better than the rest? Well, I've been to every place I can find in Collin County down to Dallas County. I've been to Garland and Richardson, and I've been to the places in Frisco as well. This place is the best for many reasons. The number one reason is the tea itself. They don't fill up the cup with more ice than drink like many other places. In fact, they make the drinks cold by having the ice as part of the shaking and mixing, but they leave the ice out when they give you the drink. Every single sip I get has all that I want: tapioca, jelly and drink, down to the very last sip. AMAZING. Second thing that makes it great is the service. I have always received such gracious and kind service. Third thing is the cleanliness of the place. I love it. Something that I would let people know is that they also make some Filipino treats if you are familiar with that. I have had her Beef and Chicken Empanadas...soooo good! She also mentioned that in the summer, they are going to try to offer some halo-halo. I'm so excited about that! Please give this place a try if you haven't yet. Grabbed tea for myself today as I'm addicted these days and out of my personal stash. Hubs came in this eve with a treat of...you guessed it...Delish Bubble tea. So I got to have it twice today. I'm downgrading a star - the pearls are MUSHY. Is this a sign that they are old? I make my own bubble tea at home - even if I "overcook" the tapioca pearls or refrigerate them for the day in a honey syrup, they have never gotten this mushy. That makes me question the overall quality - I mean if the boba pearls are not being cooked right even though they are a huge part of the overall show.......................... The other thing that I noticed is the classic milk tea has powdery taste to it. The closer you get to the bottom, the more powder you taste. I'm guessing they are using milk tea powder? I ordered the green tea matcha with golden milk and boba. I didn't expect it to have a strong matcha taste, but I actually could only taste a hint of matcha. If I had done a blind taste test of this drink, I wouldn't have been able to guess matcha. I thought the boba was slightly too soft/mushy. The drink wasn't overly sweet so that's a plus. I was a little disappointed with my drink, but my friend who ordered the same thing said she enjoyed hers. By far the best spot in DFW for bubble tea! They also serve smoothies, tea, coffee, ice cream and desserts. We had the Strawberry Delight smoothie and the Pina Colada smoothie, both with mango pop bubbles. My go to bubble tea place. The employees are always so kind, their bubble teas taste the best in the area and it is always clean! Tapioca is gross, so I've never been able to enjoy bubble tea properly. Delish Bubble tea has what they call popping bobba (sp???), which are like little bubbles filled with different flavors including lyches, passion fruit, mango, etc. They also have jellies that you could add to your tea. Not my kind of boba. I got my staple which is thai tea with boba and less sugar but the one here just made me feel nausaus. I usually like my boba a little chewy or hard but the boba here was wayyyy too soft to the point where I could actually drink the boba. Even with less sugar, the tea tasted sweeter than normal thai tea with sugar. I had high hopes because the decor was cute and the staff was super friendly. Their regular boba is always just the right amount of chewy, and the owners are so nice, that you usually don't mind waiting the 5-10 minutes for your drink. If you're not into boba, you can get jelly (like jello strips in your drink) or nothing, just straight tea. They also serve a small selection of baked goods, and blue bell ice cream. Went in on a Saturday evening before dark, and the interior of the store seem slightly dim. Furniture was not well taken care of, and the store just looked sad. There was moderate amount of people in there, and appeared to be self-sustaining. [ 2 stars ] The lady was really helpful and patient with my companion who did not even know what boba is. She gave him a samples on the boba, passion fruit popping boba and mango popping boba. Even though he changed his mind a couple of times, she didn't seem irritated. [ 5 stars ] I on the other hand went in with one thing in mind; classic milk tea with boba. To be honest, it turned out much better than I expected; compatible to boba places in Houston. Even though I know first hand that milk tea isn't rocket science, I didn't have high expectation given that it is located in Frisco TX. A great place to hang out with friends since there is lots of comfortable seating. They offer two drink sizes: medium and large. I ordered a large tropical green tea with passion fruit popping boba and BF ordered a mango smoothie with strawberry popping boba. My tea was not too strong and was very refreshing. BF liked his mango smoothie as well. Since we're from Houston, spending $8 for tap drinks seems a little expensive for us. But this place is close to our new home so we will just have to deal. It so hard to find good bubble tea in McKinney. We absolutely love this place! We often stop here and get a few Classic Milk Teas, Taro Smoothies, or venture out and try a new flavor. They always turn out good and they are consistent with their drinks! Our kids love the Bubble Gum and Orange flavors, every now and then they'll get a fruit flavored smoothie.
