Do you remember the show Saved by the Bell? Well, this bagel shop is decorated in the same theme with 90's decor and freshly made bagels. We bought an assortment of bagel sandwiches, including egg, bacon, and cheese that was so mouthwateringly good.Yum. We also bought an assortment of fresh bagels including everything bagels, sesame bagels, cinnamon raisin bagels, and plain bagels. They were all delicious. We also bought their spreads including lox and cream cheeses, scallion and cream cheese, and plain cream cheese. They were creamy and full of flavor. Service was great. We were waited on right away. It took a few minutes to get our order together, but it was worth it. Yum! I loved the bright pink and green decor. The bagel table was adorable. It was spacious and fun. We will definitely be going back for both the food and the service. read more

Great little bagel shop. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an asiago bagel and thought it was delicious. The bagel had great texture and taste and it was generously filled with bacon, egg, and cheese. I think their atmosphere is pretty good and service was good despite the breakfast rush. read more

Stopped in after seeing this place multiple times from the road. Even when packed on a Sunday, service was relatively quick and all employees were nice! I got the Avocado Smash and the taste was great. I love whatever spice they put on the ingredients, it really brought out the flavor of the feta. It was a bit hard to eat, just because the bagel was thick and it came out hot and falling apart, but it tasted great and was huge. I'm taking the second half of my sandwich home for later. Note that the inside is kind of small and there isn't much seating. Overall, I would return! read more

I was on the hunt for a to go breakfast before I was called in to work. Found this bagel spot that I wasn't aware that was there. I see that this side of town is really longing for a good bagel shop for a long time now and this may be the answer for now. It was busy. The patrons just trickling in and DoorDash/uber drivers just coming in and out. I opted for a bagel with lox schmear. Tasty, tangy, lox y and cream sandwiched between a fairly decent bagel. Would love to come back next time to get a different flavored bagel and schmear. I'm actually really excited about this place. read more

Great bagels and variety of schmears, also tried their coffee and it was really good. Amazing service and very clean restaurant. read more

Wonderful experience getting bagels here, the theme is unique for sure! I still wonder if they ever got permission for that! Lol! The everything bagel with lox was superb, definitely quality bagels. I'm a Brooklyn boy at heart, so if I'm saying that, it means something. I love that northern foods are in the south now and actually doing well. Glad I brought home multiple bagels! read more

The counter person was very helpful and pleasant. The bagels were super fresh. The two spreads I bought were also delicious. I saved five dollars by signing up for their rewards card. Also another $5.00 on my birthday. I don't usually do that but I'm happy I did. read more

My school picked up Saved by the Bagel for us for part of our 12 days of Christmas. Holy WOW! I was able to try the pumpernickel, everything bagel, and sea salt. The pumpernickel bagel was my standout favorite. It was perfectly toasted- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It paired perfectly with the cream cheese. It tasted fresh and hearty with more robust and unique flavor profile than I'm used to in a bagel. The everything bagel and sea salt were equally fresh, but most of their flavor for me came through with the toppings. If you normally like plain bagels, you will LOVE these as they're clearly fresh. I think that pumpernickel bagel would taste amazing plain even, but I'm a huge fan of wheaty/ grainy flavors. I'm not normally even a huge bagel fan, but this is my favorite bagel shop I've tried yet in DFW! Bagels make such great breakfast for runners. I can't wait to try the whole wheat, cinnamon raisin and blueberry varieties next time I'm in the area. The shop was great to work with for our order pickup! I can't speak to the interior of the store but it looks cute from the photos. Highly recommend for the bagel lover and bagel skeptic alike!! read more

Absolutely delicious bagels! Everything tastes so good, and you can tell the bagels are made fresh daily. They're super generous with the shmear, which I love. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The matcha lattes are amazing too. Great quality and great portions. Highly recommend! read more

I've been to this neighborhood bagel shop a couple of times. This time I went for something simple: an everything bagel with honey almond schmear, and a coffee. The bagel was fresh. It was lightly brown on the outside and chewy on the inside, plus toasty sesame and garlic bits on top. What I liked most was the honey almond schmear. It was creamy with almond flakes in it, adding a nice nutty flavor and crunchiness. The place is not big, but it's cozy. You can sit comfortably at one of the tables and enjoy your food. Located at a corner, the place has lots of windows that allow for plenty of light to come in. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The one who took my order was so nice to bring my food to me! Come and give it a try. You'll find something you like! read more

I'd read about this place on Yelp and drive by it so often it's been I've thought about trying it. However, their online menu shows no "non dairy" options so I had put it out of my mind to try it. Finally last week I was driving by and decided I would just stop in and ask. I was delightfully surprised to find they DO offer a vegan cream cheese!! I wanted my first try to be a bagel with cream cheese, but the other options looked really tasty too. I chose an everything bagel with vegan cream cheese (see image). The bagel was thick, had some good flavor and the cream cheese tasted just like I remember real cream cheese tasting like. As with any good bagel + cream cheese duo there was a lot of cream cheese, so much I had to scrape some off. The woman who helped me at the counter was friendly and kind and answered my questions. The gentleman who made my bagel was quick. I felt the price point was comparable to others. Glad I finally tried Saved by the Bagel and was able to once again have a bagel with cream cheese. read more

The bagels here are okay. They weren't the best I've ever had but not the worst. They were a bit tougher than what I would have liked. The cream cheese is good. They give you a lot of filling. read more

As a fan of Bayside High... grew up with the show, I had to step in to this bagel shop just for the experience! Nostalgia.. for sure! I got a bagel with tuna (tuna melt, minus the cheddar) and it came out quickly and was delicious! Not quite like a NY Bagel but better than average! read more

Bagels were okay nothing fancy, people were sweet! Coffee wasn't my favorite sadly it had coffee beans in the drinks and it tasted very bitter. Not lots of space to sit on weekends but they have indoor and outdoor sitting! Host is sweet and gives out samples if any! read more

5 stars on the Plano scale for bagels. If you can't Gold Belly from NYC, this should be your local go-to. The everything bagel (toasted) with bacon, egg, & cheddar is perfect for a hangover. Quick & friendly service as well! read more

We didnt see Mario Lopez but we did have great breakfast sandwiches at Saved by the Bagel in Plano They make thier bagels fresh daily and the customer service was outstanding! The young lady working the register was one of the most welcoming employees we've ran across in a while. They are lucky to employ her. Small very clean place with only a few tables. Happened upon this establishment while on my way to another one in the strip center. Opened within the last year and family owned. The staff was polite and they have a good variety of options including two different gluten free options. I ordered the gf everything bagel with scallion schmear. Also tried the veggie schmear. I liked the scallion more but the veggie was good as well. The bagel was hot and tasted yummy. The place is not cheap as it was $8 for a bagel and schmear but I would return again as the quality was very good. They also give you a lot of schmear for the bagel. Id probably get the schmear on the side next time to have some to take home later. read more

Very good service. Quality bagel sandwiches. Freshly made. We recommend Saved by the Bagel to the Plano Allen area.

This place is busy and hoppin on a late Sunday morning and perhaps rightfully so. I may have been a little generous with my 5 stars in that it's not the best bagel I've ever had but it's definitely a solid choice and was definitely a very good bagel, especially for how close it is to where we live. Customer service was lovely as was the vibe of the joint. I had the Ham, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on a Toasted Everything Bagel. It ate a tad bit on the salty side for me but the bagel was perfectly soft and crunchy at the same time, the egg tasted really good, and the cheese was super melty and comforting as well. I will definitely be coming back! Hope this place sticks around for a while. read more

Bagels hard as rocks. Horrible and reheating once I got home did not soften them. $21 wasted

I have family in Plano and they shared this spot with me recently, so I told them we had to check it out on my next trip! I loved Saved By The Bell, so this was very nostalgic. They've got a great space with some seating inside and the staff working was so friendly. I love the customization options. My bagel sandwich was so good. Their cream cheese is delicious. The staff heard my sister wanted to take a bagel to go for her kids and offered she take it for free with it being our first visit- so thoughtful! This is definitely a unique, fun spot! read more

Great neighborhood independent bagel shop. We stopped by mid morning to grab a bagel and latte. Located on the south west corner of the intersection of legacy and independence, this sweet little family owned restaurant is a one-of-a-kind. Clean with simple lines, they provide space for you to sit at tables or at a window bar. We chose an everything bagel with cream cheese and a breakfast bagel with egg, bacon and cream cheese. Both were fabulous. Large, fresh, and soft. Just the way we like them. We noticed many people ordering ahead and coming by to pick up. We might be learning that trick soon too. This will be our new go to place for bagels in the Plano Frisco area. staff are friendly and helpful. A well run operation. read more

Friendly staff, the bagels were big and fluffy. My kids enjoyed their bacon, egg, and cheese bagels. The atmosphere was clean and friendly.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the business partners during my visit to this charming bagel shop. The space is thoughtfully designed with a fun, nostalgic Saved By the Bell-inspired theme--every detail feels intentional and playful. The bagels are delicious, with the chocolate chip being a personal favorite, followed closely by the blueberry and plain. Their sandwiches are well worth the price--generously portioned and packed with protein. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the shop is clean, inviting, and run with excellent customer service. read more

Incredible! My wife and I wanted something special for lunch, something delicious that would leave us with the wow factor. We drove a bit and chose Saved by the Bagel. Cute name and atmosphere filled with 90s nostalgia. The best bagel I've ever eaten. The Turkey Club is an absolute must try! Tender sesame seed bagel with crisp bacon, turkey, tomato, lettuce, mayo and Swiss cheese was perfection. I want another! So, I'll have to give them another chance. They had a booth at Dickens Downtown Plano, and my family loved their red and green bagels. I think they were a play on their nostalgic bagel, but red and green. I was hesitant to try it because I wondered if the colors were dyed with food coloring or natural ingredients. So, I passed on it. Fast forward to January, I had some time after school drop-off and stopped by. They were out of most of the schmears, so I settled for a plain bagel and plain schmear (my options were limited). I really wanted to enjoy the bagel, but it wasn't good. My family raved about how soft and delicious the bagels were, considering our go-to spot is Starship Bagels in Lewisville. We were super excited because there was a really good bagel joint close to us. I'm disappointed, but I'll try a different bagel and schmear next time. read more

Cute bagel shop that recently opened! I've been waiting for this place to open every time we passed by! The interior is super cute and vibrant so it def makes you feel good as soon as you enter the shop. The bagel prices are good, except I was surprised how expensive the sandwiches were. Haven't tried them yet (and honestly I'm not sure if I will based on the high price) but hopefully it's worth the price. I got a chocolate chip bagel (which is only available on the weekend) and honey walnut cream cheese. The amount of cream cheese inside the bagel was insane! I could tell the bagel was freshly made in house and the cream cheese was really good too. I wish they had a bit more non-caffeinated drink options but overall very satisfied with the first visit and will probably be going back more frequently! read more

Pretty place, but the food missed the mark I really wanted to like this place--the aesthetics are lovely, and it's a super cute spot to grab breakfast. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the vibe. I ordered a lox bagel and was pretty shocked at how off it tasted. I've truly never been the type to spit out food, but something just wasn't right here. The onions tasted borderline rancid, which is surprising (and concerning) considering I came in the morning. For a $20 bagel, I expected something fresh and flavorful. Instead, I left disappointed and a little nauseated. Honestly, I think Einstein Bros. would've done a better job. Definitely not worth the price, even if the interior is Instagram-worthy. read more

North Dallas desperately needed a tasty bagel spot and this one fills the gap. I had the bacon egg and cheese on jalapeño cheddar and my bf had the smash-burger on jalapeño cheddar. Both sandwiches were tasty. The restaurant is very cute with an 80/90's theme. And the service was great! We were walked through the menu when we walked in and assisted when there was a minor mix up with our order. I thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino though the beans tasted a tiny bit burnt. I'll be back to try more of the menu! read more

Nice place and staff, but I honestly did not like the taste of the bagels. I am from the North East, so I am always searching for a good bagel. Saved by the Bagel is a super cute, well lit breakfast stop. The workers were all super friendly, efficient, and helpful. The bagels however, are more of a vehicle and less of a whole package. They are not chewy, are too squishy, and seemed to be just a step above grocery store bagels. We also purchased plain and strawberry cream cheese and the strawberry was very bland. With toppings (eggs, lox, etc) our breakfast was okay, but the bagels themselves were not good enough for us to return read more
