The Donut Tree has a wide variety of specialty donuts and pastries that will cause you to believe you are sitting at an outdoor café on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, France. Nice little place I decided to go check out based on reviews I read. The donuts are pretty good but nothing I would drive out my way again to get. If you are near Custer & 121 it's worth trying them out. The specialty donuts were probably my favorite but almost $4 each so like in my case a dozen donuts plus donut holes and tip nearly $40 read more

Staff is always super sweet! I've been buying donuts from them for about 4 years now.

The atmosphere is nice but does not justify the price for the food. The donut holes were dry and inedible.

I only tried their kolache, chocolate donut holes and regular donut holes. Their kolaches were ok. I've had better in other donut places. Prices were a bit on the higher end. BUT the donut holes- both chocolate and iced were delicious!! Omg the texture was perfect for a donut. Flaky, crispy and yet soft at the same time. The flavor was amazing. Sweet but not too dense either. These donut holes made me want to return and buy all the other donuts!! Definitely going to go back to try other donut flavors. Went here for the very first time today and super impressed! Love all the offerings they have. They have slightly more varieties than regular neighborhood donut shops. In addition to the regular donut offerings, they have some specialty ones too like cronuts, matcha green tea donuts and s'mores donuts. They even have some French macarons too, which I didn't try. Cronuts fantastic and glazed were typical. Tried some gourmet- Hurts type donuts. Not.the.same. Got a red velvet with what appeared to be cream cheese frosting.Frosting was soured tasting and not even a resemblance of cream cheese frosting. It literally ruined the donut, although I scraped it off and the donut was nothing to write home about. My 7yr old would typically eat ANY frosting, and she took one bite and asked if she had to finish it??That bad. Please don't tempt me with gourmet style donuts that are a huge disappointment. Please fix your frosting And cake style donuts you call red velvet. I have a great cream cheese frosting recipe or the internet has tons of them. What you are doing is an abomination. Sausages in the kolaches are tiny. Specialty donuts priced $2.50-$4. Kind of expensive. Every time I asked the lady at the counter for the price of a donut, she would take a piece of paper and look at the price. Because all their donuts priced differently, it is very annoying, unless you do not care about a price. Nothing special including green tea donut. Got my kid donut with colorful icing and a unicorn on top. I thought it was a cookie, but you can not even eat a unicorn, because it is made of sugar that feels like a rock in your mouth.
