Overpriced for the quality. The bacon egg croissant sandwich was soggy and not crispy at all. The egg was too salty and barely tasted any bacon. The jalapeño kolache was good if it was regular but Jalapeño is just on top not mixed in the hotdog. So you barely get any jalapeño with every bite. read more

Donut station is a local mom and pop donut shop that's been in the business for a long time. More than anything, their customer service and smiling faces are what sets them apart from other shops for me. They have wide selections of not only donuts but drinks and savory items such as kolaches (pigs in a blanket) and breakfast sandwiches. Very kid friendly as well as they make special cute themed donuts around holidays along with the usual rotation of donuts with different toys on top! Saturday at 9:45 they didn't have half the donuts. No maple bars or chocolate bars, no cinnamon and sugar donuts. Pretty disappointed in the selection every time I go. But Saturday, you would think they'd make extra for the weekend. Nope! Then donut holes, I got 6 chocolate and 6 chocolate with sprinkles and instead of charging for a dozen with sprinkles, they charged me 6 with no sprinkles and 6 with sprinkles which was more than the most expensive dozen. You would think hey let's just charge them a dozen but nope. The breakfast sandwiches are usually soggy and not well kept. I highly suggest going somewhere else. So I made the mistake of trying this place again. Donuts are cold and stale to the point I couldn't even eat the apple fritter. There is mold on the burrito. The sausage roll had an unusual taste to it before I realized I shouldn't be eating any of this because obviously quality control is not high on the list of things they do. First, awesome donuts. Second, NICEST STAFF EVER. When these ladies found out we had just moved to the neighborhood they gave us a huge bag of donuts for free in addition to the kolaches (sausage rolls) and donuts we bought. They said they hope to see us again, and we have been back several times. My favorite thing they make are sausage rolls wrapped in croissants instead of the normal breading. THEY ARE AMAZING! Absolutely addictive. They also have great cake donuts which aren't overly oily, and my husband loves the eclairs they make. I've never felt so warm and welcome in a donut shop before, they are so sweet and make amazing donuts too!! read more

Not sure it lives up to the "best donuts in the world" review. They do have good options - the usual donut offerings plus $4 "toy donuts" and $2 "ring donuts" if you need your dose of sugar topped with a yo-yo or a candy toy of some sort. I had a red velvet cake donut and it was what you would expect. The kolaches are not worth a special trip - they do have a number of size options though, if that is important. I tried three different types/sizes and none were anything I would buy again. Everyone was kind, place was generally clean. Nothing to complain about but I don't understand all the rave reviews. This is the closest donut shop to my house, but honestly, donut shops are a dime-a-dozen. There is only ONE reason I decided to review this place.... Pig in the blanket WITH a piece of crispy bacon inside... TO... DIE... FOR!! (See my pics) They are not made with the typical dry bread, but instead made with a not-too-flaky buttery croissant. The smoky sausage inside has cheese inside and then topped off with a yummy piece of bacon all wrapped together. The lady behind the counter was nice and fast. Some donut shops employee people with zero personality. We recently moved to the area and have been trying all the donut places. We tried this one last weekend around 10AM on Saturday. The staff was super friendly. I order 18 assorted donuts. They were mostly inedible. My kids took one bite and literally didn't finish. It seemed like the donuts were made the previous afternoon and left out- they were very stale. Firstly, their coffee is amazing and they could probably charge more for it but don't. It's ridiculously inexpensive. Everyone there is so nice. A great family. They are around the corner from my house and it's great. My daughter loves their frosted and sprinkled. They are good. Even I indulge. Their cinnamon rolls are perfect and they have multiple sizes. Their variety is what you normally see and we've yet to be disappointed in 2 years. I think we've tried everything but kolaches. Wish they were open a tad longer. I tend to forget until 1145am. I went to the Donut Station this morning for sausage rolls and donuts. I ordered 8 sausage rolls only to drive all the way home to find out that they gave me 8 donuts. I was highly upset because I had to get kids to school and this was suppose to be their treat for doing well in school this week. Drove all the way back to get what I paid for. The lady thought I was lying and wanted to make sure that she charged me correctly. I told her you charged me for 8 sausage rolls not 8 donuts. (TIP: always get your receipt, most of the time they fail to give out a receipt nor do they have the common courtesy to ask if you want a receipt.) She said sorry. It was a huge inconvenience. If you're going to serve your customers right, make sure you get their order correct. They didn't even compensate for the inconvenience. I would not recommend going here.
