Well it would've been five stars but the didn't have a big supply when I showed up, but that was my fault for the time I showed up! Fellow behind the counter was a funny guy and very generous! I really wanted to love this place. Donut Box has been on my bucket list for quite a while now. I came on an early Tuesday morning and was the only customer there. I was originally drawn here because of the cronuts! I've been on a quest to find the best cronuts in dallas and unfortunately these didn't pass the test. I got the glazed cronut and a glazed Bavarian creme donut. The workers gave me a few extra donut holes in addition to my purchase! The cronut was really soft but not crispy on the outside. Although it has good flakey layers, the cronut was flat. Th glaze on all donuts in general was overly sweet for my taste. The dough was pillowy and chewy. The workers were very nice and helpful. Store looked very spacious and clean! Many kolache and donut options present. This place is worth a try but it just wasn't for me. I would revisit for other options nonetheless! read more

This shop is just a minute or two from our apartment complex and we go there at least once a week. The owner (I'm assuming- she's the lady always smiling and saying good morning to the guest as they enter) is sooo pleasant.
