First time here. We were sat right away. Restaurant has a diner feel but is modern and clean with tables and counter seating. The menu isn't too overwhelming. They serve breakfast and lunch. Our server, Ainsley, was incredibly sweet and attentive. Our breakfast was delicious. Keep in mind the French toast is very filling! Delaney's fits a missing niche in the Main Street Reynoldsburg area. The breakfast/lunch eatery. There were a couple of small snags to our visit- no greeter or sign to sit yourself, staff hanging out in the back of the restaurant, no "open" sign. However the food was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to them adding carry out or possibly a delivery service. My breakfast conewhich was spectacular, the hash browns were dripping with melted butter and so lightly fried. Had the corned beef hash for breakfast and the Hoosier Pork Tenderloin for lunch. The corned beef was EXCEPTIONAL - so tender! And the potatoes (hash) were EXCELLENT. The Hoosier Pork Tenderloin is AS ADVERTISED! Tender and DELISH! Just look at the SIZE of that sandwich! Hope you're hungry. My wife had the Breakfast Conewich and the PastaSalvi for lunch. BOTH are OUTSTANDING! Never had fried pasta before, but it is an absolute heavenly delight. The Conewich is super cool - like a breakfast waffle cone! This gets a MUST DO! Solid LOCAL breakfast diner...with a speciality item you can't find anywhere else: The Pasta Salvi. Although it is an outlier on a breakfast/brunch heavy menu, you MUST get it! Even if you enjoy their delicious breakfast and take one home for dinner. I cannot go to Delaney's and not get the Pasta Salvi. I say you get it with the sauce and cheese, my brother likes it without. Either way, this item is something special. In addition to their specialty item, their breakfast is delicious. My family says best French toast in Columbus. My mom and I enjoy the corned beef hash. Honestly, everything is good. Really good. I heard they are opening an additional location in Grandview! I have driven by here a few times and decided it was time to give this place a try. Arrived on a Sunday around 10:30am, so I already knew it was going to be busy. As soon as I walked in, smells of comfort food hit my nostrils! Families were on a wait but by a stroke of luck, there were two seats open at the counter/bar, so my boyfriend and I got sat ASAP. I got the country biscuit breakfast and omg! Best sausage gravy I have ever had. I don't remember our servers name but she was an absolute doll! The decor is very clean and modern. Another stop at Delaney's Diner and found the quality of food and service to be very consistent. Even with a full parking lot our party of three walked in and were immediately seated. Trying different items from our last visit I went with the two scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. The eggs were thoroughly cooked and the three slices of bacon were thick and cooked just right -- not undercooked but not over crisp. Similarly, the large serving of hashbrowns had a good mix of crunch to them. The toast was a thicket slice of bread instead of the normal thin slice we usually find at other places. The wife and kid went with the three chocolate chip pancakes. Each one was about 8" in diameter, loaded with chips mixed in the batter (other places we've been to just sprinkle the chips on top as an afterthought), and were very thick. Everybody loved their food, the prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous, and the service was great. We wanted to check out the new Delaney's Diner in Reynoldsburg. The restaurant in Westerville is our normal choice for a good, inexpensive breakfast or brunch, but having been told by Jeff, the owner and manager, about the new location was enough to put it on our "go to" locations. As we walked into the very large, spacious dining area of Delaney's on E. Main St., we were warmly greeted by the host and asked our choice of table or booth. We saw that this new location was thriving with customers engaged in conversation as they ate their meals. Our waitress, Carlie, was pleasant and friendly and quick to give us menus and take our drink orders. I ordered my usual Indy 500 Pork Tenderloin with white gravy, hash browns (extra crispy), two eggs over-easy and an English muffin with their whipped butter. While my wife said her chicken sandwich was crisp and delicious, and sweet potato fries (her favorite) really added a nice accompaniment to the meal. If I told you that my pork tenderloin was huge, it would be an understatement. It was slathered with their own white gravy. The tenderloin was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. Marsha said the smell of frying bacon was driving her crazy so we each ordered the three slices of bacon to add to our meal - crisp and delicious - just how we like it. All their food is made to order and from what we've eaten so far, has been delicious. Jeff came over to greet us and thank us for coming to his new place. Although the pictures I've taken don't do justice to the food and restaurant, if you like down-home, delicious comfort food, I would encourage you to come to Delaney's Diner and try it yourself. We'd been told by fellow Yelper, Mike G. that we had to try their amazing Pasta Salvi. So, we got two orders to go and ate this awesome repast later that day at home. Brought our family here and the accommodated our large party really well! Food was good, coffee was flowing and we had a good time! Finally eating after the loss my sister. I do not eat beef or pork. So I got a Delaney's French toast with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage and my husband got the Delaney''s pancakes. For him to come home with all bacon in both meals. So I call to get my order straighten out and sit on hold for 25 minutes to get hung up on. Food was not good the French toast and pancakes. Never got my eggs or sausage. So still hungry and even the manager was rude. One hell of way to start my week. Will never go here again due to the customer service on one of the worst day of my life with the loss of my sister and uncle. Way to treat people. read more

Dropped in for lunch on the weekend but was seated immediately since we didn't mind sitting at the bar. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was just okay, tasted like basic SYSCO stuff. I had the burger, and even with jalapenos and bacon it was still just not what I was hoping for with it being labeled as a diner. Same with the fries, the were cooked well but no flavor at all. Would have been good with salt, maybe some cajun seasoning, anything really. It seems like maybe they cater to a mostly older crowd which might explain the lack of seasoning. There seemed to be regulars there. This is Delaney's Diner's second location. It's definitely spacious, with plenty of room for tables and booths, and of course all the proper covid precautions are being met. Plenty of bright lighting, a friendly atmosphere with all the mural paintings and pops of bright yellow, dark blue and reds. Higher ceilings too, which also helps with the relaxed environment. Service was good, nothing to brag about, but Marlena and I were left at peace for the two hours were chatted, and we were never rushed. Mike G. has told me several times about Delaney's well-known Pasta Salvi dish that has been carried over from the days of BG Salvi's restaurants in town. It seems to be highly recommended by the regulars, and it sounded great, but I needed protein, and this dish doesn't come with any. ***Sidebar: our waitress later told me they gladly can add a protein, should I want to try this dish next time, note to self!*** I couldn't keep my eye off their Breakfast Conewich, so it won out in the end. By the looks of the cone, when first presented, it looked like it possibly could be rather tough/dry; however, it tasted so good and it was the exact opposite. Sturdy enough to scoop the hash and eggs, but soft and chewy like warm dinner rolls, mmmmm. Lots of grilled onions and green peppers, and the melted cheese was mixed in with the fluffy scrambled eggs perfectly. Delaney's menu isn't too cramped full, but there's plenty enough items for breakfast and lunch; and, shoot, if you're all about brunch, then this place is a haven of refuge! read more

The timing wasn't great when I visited and that may have been the reason the Conewich tasted greasy and stale. The egg mixture wasn't terrible, but the hash browns were lukewarm and too greasy. The breaded cone was too hard to eat. The waitress was nice but we weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves at first. Prices weren't bad and the place seemed clean.
