Late night worker is always so rude when i come through she does not make the environment happy and it ruins my mood everytime i go

Staff knows NOTHING! I placed a Mobile order and had a free offer from a prior order, but when I tried to apply it, it would not go through. I went through the drive-thru and explained to the order taker what was happening and was told - just place the order & the manager would walk me thru at the window. However once getting to the window I was then told that now that the order was placed - it was too late to apply the discount. I am so frustrated because no one staff member NOR the manager knew anything! I won't be going there anytime soon. At least until you get smarter staff! read more

I come to Del Taco for the crinkle cut fries. Today they decided to give me refried fries at the drive thru. Do we have to order "fresh fries" off the secret menu? I will try that next time. I usually don't take the time out of my day to write a review but i've honestly had enough. My husband and i usually stay up later on the weekend and get hungry and the only thing open in this town after 2am is Del Taco. Whoever is working that shift need to be reevaluated because her attitude is so stank. I've had her act this way 3 different occasions. the first couple of times i thought maybe she's just having a bad day or she's tired but i'm starting to think that might be the way she is. Hadn't been to one in years. Thought we give a try. You can only order via electronic displays. The two were in use by people who couldn't find what they wanted. My wife and I hate using those things. It just takes too long to find what you want. We left, probably to never return again. read more

Haven't been back to del taco since I had a bad experience. Went through the drive thru and ordered 2 tacos, I was about to eat my second taco when I noticed a long black hair in the the taco (obviously not mine, mine is red and short) When I came in and showed the worker she said she could remake it, at that point I looked around and noticed none of the workers were wearing hair nets. I told her politely that was unsanitary and suggested they wear them since they're working with/around food. She tried to tell me it was my eyelash and pointed at my lash extensions...so then I proceeded to pull the long hair out of my taco, she realized she was wrong and just said sorry and offered a refund. Feel like it was gross and I've worked in fast food when I was younger.. we were always made to wear hair nets. Not sure what's going on with that. Hope they fixed that issue. read more

Okay Mexican food. The portions and prices were fair but to me it lacked flavor big time. I ordered the pechuga de pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken breast). It was a big breast and even though it looks juicy in the picture it wasn't :( The beans were not hot. The rice was pretty good. My hubby got the carne asada plate and once again the portion was generous and even though it was well seasoned, the meat was dry and I couldn't swallow it because it was quite dry. Walked in and walked out. Sign said to use kiosk, I asked the guy standing doing nothing in back of counter if they took your orders, he said he would help us use kiosk. I said no problem I'll go somewhere else. I don't use apps or kiosk to order and hope more people will standup and agree. The upside is I went to a restaurant and got a good meal for about what I would pay here. read more

I like this restaurant and the staff is great the service great however...they have taken away their green sauce and their pepper Jack cheese options off the menu and when I asked about it the young man was completely rude about it...we've been coming to the one for a long time except for during the plandemic and when we started coming back the staff had changed and we were getting to know the new menu and staff and to say the least I'm not impressed with either...some of them are nice and customer oriented but there is one young man and I keep forgetting to get his name that is neither nice nor does he have very good customer service...I do not like their new menu to say the least...so I probably won't be coming here very often..which is sad because I used to prefer them of the other place...oh well fast food isn't good for you anyway... read more

I don't know who owns this del taco but they're cutting the portions on meats. I order the combo of the two chicken soft tacos and this is what I got in each taco and I didn't make specials requests. The soda machine was "broken" but it wouldn't surprise me they do that so people are not wasting soda and that way they can control how much you consume. I have been to this Del Taco a handful of times, the food is decent. It's kind of rough around the edges, the dinning area is in need of new tables and chairs. Cleanliness could be better behind the counter and in dining area. One employee, woman, short, white, glasses, with blonde hair needs to work on her customer service and she is rude. Ordered 5 of the Beyond Avocado Tacos and wasn't disappointed. Used the Del App to claim a free one. The staff was friendly and courteous. They made the tacos fast and fresh. The tacos were piping hot out of the wrapper. The tacos were made as ordered. The Beyond taco is my new favorite vegan option in Ridgecrest. read more

How sad that I had to drop a star on this location. Previously this was a great location because the manager was so great. However today 07/16/2023 7:15 PM Order #12 Drive thru with another number 40133, I had ordered the Epic Fresh Guac Asada Burrito. It's billed on my receipt, but what I received was a ground beef cheesy burrito. Normally I would one star and boycott over this; but the previous manager was so professional. So I'm going to give this location another chance based upon past experience and hope this new younger person is just a weekend cover for the good manager. read more

Over Price just went in here for quick meal. I ordered special burrito $5.75 each. They came out very small, smaller than my fist and I am only small size female. If I want to be full, I will have to eat 3-4 of them. the taste is OK. not to the point that it would be worth the price. It only worth $2 or less. I won't come here any more. I also bought the combo, grande burrito, and it wasn't large at all. just a little bigger than an egg roll. The staff also wasn't nice. A man came in wanting to order food but he was a $50 bill. they didn't accept it so he and his son left. The staff was making rude comment when he walked away say "didn't he see the sign". We went to the drive-thru here. I have to say, they had amazing service, food, and a great, reasonable price for it all. We did face a line, however this line moved decently fast. Every time I have come here they have always messed up my order or the food isn't cooked all the way and it's either cold or the tortilla hard. Tonight they got my order wrong and my sons adder wrong which I don't understand how every single time I have come to this del taco something always goes wrong. There are new people working there but unless they are illiterate or hard of hearing than there should be no problem in reading or listening to a order. Major disappointment again. I'm just going to say it, this is one of the favorites for fast food in Ridgecrest. There is always a long line in the drive-thru, and that's because they always deliver great food! There is no dollar menu like the Del Taco menu... So many options for a buck and under. 2 fish tacos for $4, chicken al carbon for $1, and perfectly crisped crinkle-cut fries on the side make for a perfect combo. read more

I love DT's chicken soft tacos and always ordered 'em when I go to a DT. The sauce tasted a little off this time around, but that won't stop me from going there. Although, preparing for my wedding will limit the amount of times I go. Service was a little on the slow side, especially when no one else was around or in the store, but I have a feeling Ridgecrest moves slightly slowly, until you get on the highways. read more

This Del Taco is one of the worst to go to. I've eaten at other Del Taco restaurants for years and avoid this one, though it is where I live. To start with the food is inconsistent. I typically get the same thing every time. You may get a full burrito once and the next time asking "where's the meat?". Quesadillas are frequently over cooked and guess what? No green chile sauce inside. Ask for it and they try to charge extra, though it should be inside the quesadilla in the first place. Cold and old tortillas often seem to be used, that or they left them out and are just stale. I could say more, but why? I think my point is clear. Service is mediocre at best. If you mention a problem, yeah it's kind of taken care of, usually with a disgruntled demeanor, but real improvement and staff training just doesn't occur. The restaurant inside tends to be clean which is a plus, but I've seen some questionable food handling from the workers. After myself and a friend both were stomach ill from the last breakfast we purchased, I'm not dining here again. read more

People don't understand why the line is so long, is because they make the food fresh as possible! but yeah they mess up sometimes but doesn't everywhere else? also your order is gonna get messed up if you order 20 tacos and 10 burritos and 5 different fiesta packs. But the workers there are hard working and will always try to do the best to get your food to be the best.
