Definitely recommend this place. Everything I have had at this place has great flavor. Salsas are on point. Great prices also. If you haven't been here definitely check it out.

The tacos were excellent! Great flavor and presentation. It's always busy when I order, which is a good sign. The only issue I have is getting dry limes with no juice. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place.

Great tacos and a perfect rest stop on our way to Death Valley. We tried a few tacos and a street style burrito. All very good.

Hawaiian shaved ice is a beautiful, fluffy experience that has a wonderful effect on your tongue...Snow cones are coarse, crunchy crap that you get at second rate fairs... Tutu's is the only place I've been to that still does Hawaiian shaved the way it's supposed to...Light, fluffy and HUGE...They don't skimp on the syrup either...If I can recommend a flavor, I'd have to go with blackberry...Experiment...Play around... The Dole whip is also a wonderful palate cleanser that is just amazing...Whipped pineapple soft serve is probably the best way to describe it, but I would say the best way to know it is to experience it... They also have ice cream brought in from Hawaii... Being that I was stationed in Hawaii and I trolled around to get as fat as possible before I returned to the states, I must say that Hawaiian ice cream is super rich compared to their mainland counterparts...White chocolate, coconut and macadamia nuts? It felt a bit all over the place at first. But the reviews were so strong compared to everything nearby that we decided to try it on our way to Mammoth. When we got there it was pretty quiet, and the owner sat us and took our order himself. He was really friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu and give recommendations. We ended up talking with him quite a bit, and once he explained his background and how his food is influenced by different cultures, the menu started to make a lot more sense. You can tell he really cares about what he's making, and he's very genuine and easy to talk to. We ordered the jerk chicken tacos, the creole pasta, and the soul bird sandwich. I had asked about modifying the sandwich and he mentioned he doesn't really do modifications, which I actually respected. It felt like he really stands behind how each dish is meant to be eaten. The food ended up being really good. The pasta surprised me the most. It looked simple at first, but it was creamy, slightly peppery, and really flavorful without feeling heavy. The beef had a nice char that added a lot. The jerk chicken tacos were also really good, super juicy and flavorful, and everything worked well together. The habanero sauce wasn't very spicy, more on the sweeter side, but it complemented the dish well. There was a small mix-up with my sandwich at first, but he caught it right away, fixed it, and even let us keep the first one. Both versions were good, but the one with pickles had a better balance. The tang really pulled everything together. We ended up finishing everything, which we weren't planning on. Overall, it was just a really good experience. Good food, and a really nice conversation with the owner that made the whole visit feel more personal. We actually wanted to stop by again on our way back, but they were closed. I wish we lived closer because we'd definitely come back. It's a spot that deserves more attention.

It was nice and warm inside, everything clean, including the bathroom. Our waiter was super funny and nice, same with the chef. I love night crew antics The morning/day crew needs to get it together because they did not prep the kitchen well with defrosted meats that were on the menu. So there were people waiting up to an hour for their takeout while we sat in the restaurant. Which I feel is unacceptable because they are a 24 hour establishment, get it together and take care of your night crew because they also work off tips and it's a disrespectful practice. Gave my kind waiter a fat tip and called it a day, after eating a fire burger with bacon, and this really good sauce that he recommended. Get the mozz sticks ! Thank you to the night crew, we see your hard work!!

On Sunday 5-24-2026, at five am I was seated in the Ridgecrest Dennys to order breakfast. The waiter was busy clearing tables & eventually served me requested coffee & ice water. Ridgecrest Dennys lost my business & I passed along my experience to friends & coworkers. They won't be dining there either. Tim Plueger Ridgecrest, California
