Came here for a drink during happy hour. The vibe here was cool. The bartender was very attentive and almost immediately came over to greet us. I had a pineapple and mango margarita- I much preferred the pineapple. In addition to the drinks, I also ordered the spicy honey flatbread, which I was not a fan of. However, despite not enjoying the food, I had a wonderful time here and would definitely return, especially during the warmer parts of the year because they have an outdoor area.

My friend brought me here for a night out and it didn't disappoint! We got there closer to 10:30 and it was PACKED. Luckily, we snagged seats and the bar-- be mindful that folks may be reaching over you to order. We started with nachos, ceviche, empanadas, and stuffed jalapeño. I wasn't crazy about the ceviche but all the other food was fantastic! The DJ kept the vibes high all night-- me and my friend literally closed out the place! If you're in Brooklyn, you gotta come here!

Great cocktail bar with good music and even better people. The Paloma with mezcal was so well balanced and had the right level of smoke to it.

I've been to Deia so many times I'm surprised I've never written a review. I feel like an unofficial ambassador at this point. Deia is a vibe no matter what night you drop in. The DJ rotation is on point and it's great for a gorgeous cocktail, mingle with beautiful people, grabbing a bite to eat or shaking ya bootay on the dance floor. They're a narrow space but they have some tables in the back for walk-in and reservations. They're also have an outdoor area in the back that's nice to get some fresh air and sometimes they'll have a game or movie on the projector. The owner June is so nice and it's quickly become one of my favorite sexy cocktail bars in the area!

I enjoyed this spot. The servers here work very well under pressure and I was pleased to see it. I came for a pre Valentine event sponsored by Hennessy and it was vibe. Complimentary drinks and shots for one hour. The coconut shrimp was mid but ok I wish they had just alil more flavor. This spot has a great weekly line up. Great for afterwork, groups, or a date night. They also have a back yard which is heated in the winter so you don't have to worry about being cold.

This small, cozy, modern bar is what you'll need in your life. -Service was top tier -Drinks did what needed to be done (they also have a happy hour) -Food was surprisingly BUSSIN -VIBES were I'll definitely be back

This was my second time coming to Deia, and I can confidently say the service remains absolutely incredible. The bartender, Siren, was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and really elevated the whole experience. Now, here's my only gripe: no fries on the menu. For a spot that hits so many marks perfectly, it's a little surprising they don't offer something as simple and cost-effective as fries. To the owner, please consider adding truffle fries to the menu. Sometimes patrons only need something salty and light to nibble on while enjoying drinks. That aside, Deia continues to shine with great ambiance, exceptional service, and an overall excellent experience. I'll definitely be back--hopefully to see fries make an appearance!

Favorite spot is in the back patio!! They have a projector running with some nice nature backgrounds, and you can still hear the low music from inside. The inside is very loud!! More for dancing, but super lit vibe.

Staff and ambiance was great! It was a Sunday afternoon and we got there on the earlier side which I am grateful for. The place gets packed quick. Definitely a neighborhood gem. I only tried the Plantain chips and they were fine. Can't remember the drink I got bit it was good as well. I loved the coaster and the feel of the place. The bartender was a vibe. I can't remember her name but I'd def go back for her! Definitely recommend for drinks. It does get packed and it isn't a big spot. They have a backyard so excited for the warmer days.

I've wanted to visit since they opened and was in the area and couldn't resist. Such a charming bar. The vibes were on point as I walked into the dimly lit bar with the music to match. It was a Wednesday night around 7:30pm and it wasn't crowded. I sat at the bar and ordered the Anaïs cocktail with truffle fries. The bartender was friendly and acknowledged me as I sat down. I'm becoming adventurous these days and visiting bars by myself lately. It's always good to know you can come to a bar like Deia by yourself and not feel overwhelmed or intimidated. It's a great neighborhood bar with a calm atmosphere. The drink by the way was excellent...I only needed 1 lol ! The fries were equally delicious. I'm sure the other items on the menu are delicious too and I'll have to go back to find out. If you're in the area or just looking for somewhere different to venture into then stop by and enjoy. Did I mention there was a live DJ?!

Visited on a whim one Friday night around 7pm. Was able to sit at the bar with a friend and enjoy the music. Friendly bartenders and good drinks. Vibes were there, drinks were decently priced and the space is beautiful so I'll be back soon!

The stars finally aligned this winter and I had the opportunity to try it out. The vibes are perfect. Fog and bubbles, sea noises and all of the art go together seemlessly. Drinks were great. We had three and left suitably sloshed for the night with no aftereffects. We didn't have too many bites but the food was very good for a bar. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

Unfortunately this place fell very flat. Leading with what we liked: Their mocktail offerings were good, promising a 0.0% ABV which is hard to come across when mocktails are offered. They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.

I've made it a point to visit every vinyl listening bar that I learn of in town, after enjoying the shared experience of someone curating a select vinyl list in intimate spaces in Tokyo. Few have been able to replicate the experience, but Honeycomb Hi Fi Lounge comes close. That the space is narrow with just a few seats along the bar and a few tables mimics the Japanese experience best, where you can almost have it so the whole room is having one conversation together. The music is the focus. The cocktail menu is rather simple, and my Stormbringer drink, with dark rum and ginger beer was not anything to write home about, but $15 is pretty low for cocktails these days so I'll take it. If they introduced new cocktails to the menu with more interesting ingredients I'd be more inclined to return, but the vibes overall are pretty good and the staff really nice.

My friend and I each order a cocktail, and are catching up. I'm from Brooklyn, however I no longer live here, and this was precious catch-up time with my friend. Then I get interrupted mid-sentence by the old-timer DJ from his low seat in a corner behind the bar. I had bumped the bar with my wrist (bumped my wrist watch as well, not deliberately) and then placed my hand down (granted- more than placed but definitely not slammed), and he decided to warn me that I COULD HAVE made his record skip. It was the Eagles or Santana (far from eclectic, but that's just me). I'm also 99% certain he turned the volume up afterwards, making it even harder to enjoy the company. After that interaction, I struggled to pick it back up with my friend, because I found that distraction very effing rude. When this "4th wall" gets broken down with service, it is hard to then enjoy the space in an uninhibited state. I am all for the Tokyo Vinyl Bar vibe, and I'm also for also giving talent an outlet to share their collection, but this interaction colored my experience, and I closed out after one drink and went elsewhere. I mentioned this to the bartender, and he was kind to offer a buy-back of a rare whiskey, which I did accept. 5 stars for the bartender, but 1 for my experience. I don't like to be harsh or unnecessarily cruel, but this is what it is. I have visited in the past and enjoyed myself. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be coming back.
