Outstanding flavor at an incredible value! Street tacos are delicious! PACKED with meat of your choice, and you got to do con todo (with cilantro, onions and a little chili). Although all meats are tender and cooked to perfection, my favorites were the Asada and Pastor!! Carnitas and chicken were also so flavorful and KID APPROVED (I have a 3yo who devoured her chicken). Customer service is wonderful, the lady who took our phone order and cashier was so friendly and just nice! What an unkind service to Asian people. Racial Discrimination Place. Not Happy with the waitress at all!!! The food was OK, but the waitress service was terrible. We know this restaurant's serving is usually very slow and very late. But the waitress for us today never asked what we need, and even when I called her a couple of times when she was passing by us, she never look back. But she served several times at other tables around us. That was unbelievable she never checks or even sees if we need such water or free chips etc, not even 1 time. It seems that she did it on purpose, and even more embarrassed, another waitress across the hall brought a basket of free chips because our basket was empty for a long time. I do not understand why she acted like that. She ruined my family's Saturday morning brunch. I am not happy at all. Our server was amazing and attentive. We went on cinco de Mayo and, understandably, it was very very BUSY! The waitress and other staff refilled our chips and drinks and got us our food as fast as they could. It was delicious, hot and filling! We at the albondigas soup, carne asada plate and street tacos. By far the BEST enchiladas I've ever had in my ENTIRE life. Lots of places just take the easy route and they will put some shredded chicken in their enchiladas. Not this place!! They actually care about their food and they put this yummy braised chicken in their chicken enchiladas and they also have the BEST green sauce (if you like that tangy green sauce yep this place is the one for you). I've had so many enchiladas from Texas to New Mexico and NONE have beat this one. It's so good that legit haven't tried anything else cuz I love them so much! Great service and very authentic food. You can tell food is made to order and it comes out fresh and hot! Also their chips and salsa are amazing and they always refill them for you!! Love this place and the people here. We pass by this place at least 3 times a week, and we tried it for the first time a few days ago. We were craving Mexican food and this was the closest place. I ordered the barbacoa burrito and it took a little longer than I expected, which was a good sign. I already knew it was gonna taste really fresh. The lady who took our order was really nice and she brought us our food. The burrito was huge, which I knew meant it was packed with a lot of stuff! I don't like burritos that are basically empty, so I was excited to take a bit out of this one. The mix of guac, veggies, salsa, and everything else made it delicious and not bland at all! I'm used to burritos that get less flavorful as you get closer to the bottom, but that wasn't the case with this burrito. Whoever made it generously put a ton of meat and a perfect balance of everything else. I will definitely be back here for another amazing burrito. Portions too small for the high prices charged. Disappointed that the menu had NO PRICES. What is that, they need to update the menus. Found our local spot for Mexican! Hand made tortillas, Birria de chivo, chicharron tacos were amazing! They have a wide selection of dishes for all. This has always been our go to spot for either breakfast or some tacos. We always have great service and the food is always delicious. Unfortunately, this time we weren't that impressed. They've updated menus and increased the prices. The restaurant was a little dusty and dirty-they may have been renovating, but wasn't clear. Then this time we had to wait over 30 + mins for our meal to come out after placing it. Way too long in our opinion. I went to this restaurant I ordered a wet burrito with their special sauce. It was so disgusting it tasted old . The worst burrito I ever had a wet burrito. I've been here a few times since moving to Brea. Service is always exceptional. They always bring you a set of chips and salsa regardless of how much or little you order. They have their special for taco Tuesday and it's a bargain for food and service you get. My favorite are the asada and al pastor. Their house made tortilla tacos are quite big. My wife and I are always reluctant to try New Mexican restaurants in Brea because they are typically not authentic enough, The salsa is never spicy, the tamales are dry the tortillas are from a bag. But this little gem was quite the pleasant surprise. Soft homemade tortillas. Salsa that leaves a slight tingle on the lips and a complex flavor on your tongue.
