Buffalo chicken finger subs
Marquita Y.

Great customer service when ordering food at the location. The sub was great. This place was suggested that they have the best subs around which made its mark. I can agree it's be one of the best chicken finger subs I've come across. Loved the bread. Small location but just enough space to park and pick up your food. Will definitely recommend if you're looking for a good hoagie.

TIny bit of Ken's dressing and celery for 50

BAD FOOD * BAD FOOD *BAD FOOD TRY WESTGATE PIZZA BELLA, GREAT WINGS, PIZZA - very good deals and coupons, box coupons for free pizza. OPEN TIL 2am! Re: $130 order, 50 slippery disgusting wiggly soggy skin wings that looked boiled, missing food, no receipt, no reasonable solution After having bad food in the past we stopped ordering from DC's for years. 12/2 we received bad food, missing food, no receipt, no napkins and no reasonable apologetic solution! I spoke to the owner about missing 8 ct mozzarella sticks and uncooked skin in an order of 50 wings. They were disgusting, slimy, and uneatable. Definitely far from crispy wings we ordered. I also mentioned we didn't have a receipt. I told him I called last night after the delivery and no one answered. He said he didn't have to give a receipt. He told me we received the mozzarella sticks. We did not. Proof on ring bell! He said they don't do anything unless you return the food, yet I told him they didn't answer when I called back and when I ordered the woman said it would be their last order. He said that was "A GAMBLE" we took when we "ordered before they closed". He offered $25 for a future purchase. Then he tried to give a $50 credit which was less than the soggy slippery skinned wings and the missing mozzarella sticks. We won't be trusting the food here ever again! At this time, Westgate Pizza Bella has amazing wings and great Pizza with annual discount deals and better prices. I told him I have pics of the bad wings and proof of no mozz sticks on ring! (Posted on Google) He did not express he cared. I told him he must get complaints all the time. I felt he did not care about our experience at all or that his business took money for uneatable and missing food. There was no apology or sincere promise to make things right. His concern was keeping our money! When I said I needed to do a review and post his response he replied --if you post anything, you're definitely not getting credit. I'm thinking no future credit is a favor to my family! I let him know the money doesn't matter to us. The aftermath and his response does. He earned a dispute with our credit card company, Better Business Bureau complaint, and an online review with pictures. NOTE: for $130+ No napkins, plates, Cups, 3 small Ken's blue cheese dressing and few celery bits.NOT enough for 50 wings even if we could eat them. PICTURES SAY MORE THAN WORDS!

Please cut your pizza and read the order to get toppings right.

Seriously? Ordered a 24 cut pizza with all Pepperoni and half sausage. it was an online order so very clear. The pizza only had half pepperonI and very skimpy with toppings. Not only that, it was only partially cut by the width. It was not cut length wise. will not be going back. Do Better!

A mouth filling sensation of deliciousness. AKA Umami and all pizza should have it, but precious few actually do (learn more here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=15819485 ) That is what I got when I took my first bite into this Pizza. Holy crap was that tasty. The crust was a bit thick for my preference, but now that I know how good this stuff is, I can't wait until Passover is done so I can go back in for a proper slice. My thought is that when it's thrown back in the hot hot oven, the bottom crust will crisp up nicely and it may very well be the best pizza I've had in the area. On a personal note, I appreciate how haphazard the place looks on the inside. To say it's nothing fancy is a gross exaggeration. It's a bit bigger than a hole in the wall, but it is all perfectly appropriate for the place. Oddly, the only thing out of place was the super friendly attitude behind the counter. What gives? Probably they are just giddy about just how good their pizza tastes.

Ordered Italian mix subs. Hardly any deli meat on the sandwich. $15, a sub, disappointing. I do not plan on going back.

A friend of mine decided to monetize her 2020 baking obsession by starting up a home based baked…read moregoods business I like to refer to as a, "micro-bakery". So far I have been fortunate enough to try the following from her menu: Classic Cinnamon Rolls: These taste, well, like cinnamon rolls. Not the kind that are slathered, well practically drowned in liquid sugar to the point you get diabetes by simply touching one. More the kind that are fresh, firm, and taste like cinnamon without needing heavy amounts of glaze to do the heavy lifting for their flavor profile. If you like that notion and also knowing that you won't have glue hands after eating one, give these a try! Walnut Rolls: I believe these are based on a Ukrainian family recipe. They taste quite nutty in a good way. If you are looking for tasty buns that aren't overly sweet but still rich in their walnut goodness, and perhaps would like to have a flashback to your days at mom's table back in the Ukraine, give these a taste. Apple Fritters: These are firmly in the, "and stuff" part of the "Rolly-Poly Buns & Stuff" monicker. They justify the need for stuff other than buns being made at this micro-bakery as they are pretty darn tasty. Apple flavor comes out well in these little delights. S'mores Buns (Limited Time): I am looking forward to trying these new items soon. For now all I have is the description from the website below: "Filled with chocolate, covered in toasty marshmallows, you can't go wrong with these. Sure to be a favorite of anyone with a sweet tooth." In terms of service, she likes what she does and is friendly. When ordering from the website, you will need to request anything at least 24 hours before you get it. There is not a same day delivery option. Delivery is local (capital region only) and only on weekends. Pickup is any day. If you want to drive there from wherever, that wouldn't be a problem :) Payment system currently requires PayPal. All prepared goods follow the Home Processing Guidlines by NY State. However, GF cannot be guaranteed though vegan options could possibly be accommodated upon request. The business owner is just getting started and is open to innovation in terms of new items that could be worked into their, "special flavor" category. Send any ideas to their company email at rollypollybuns@gmail.com. I recommend giving this place a shot. Give it a shot because you don't get much more small than a home owned business and you don't get much more local either. Give it a shot because it'd be pretty darn cool if something positive like this could come from, well lets face it a pretty terrible year. Also, because the food is good! Finally, if you are picking up, understand this is a home, and further understand that you would be expected to adhere to current covid safety protocols such as wearing a mask, social distance, and so on. Here's hoping you try it, love it, say so in Yelp! And possibly make the term, "micro-bakery" a thing :)

After seeing Asaf's review of this place I decided to splurge and order some things from here. I…read morelove homemade donuts and other baked goods, so after looking at their website I picked half orders (6) of the apple fritters and the smore's rolls. Delivery is available on the weekends, but since I live within a couple of miles I elected for pick up. Using their website was easy as... umm... cinnamon rolls? I talked with the baker who was putting them outside on a table a couple of minutes before pickup. Eating them fresh is nice, but warm out of the over is even better. She recommended warming them up before eating so I microwaved my apple fritter for 30 seconds in the microwave. It was great! It wasn't too sweet and that is partially because the dough didn't seem to have a lot of sugar in it. The glaze certainly did though and overall I thought it was a nice balance. I definitely tasted a nice, warm spice but can't put my finger on it. Likely cinnamon, but it seemed a little more nuanced than just that. They were very dark (but not burned) and would remind you of a pastry you might get at the supermarket but with a bit less sugar. I liked that. The smores ones did look as good as they could have, and they were a bit hard at room temperature. I heated them up as recommended and they became transformed into a decadent treat that tasted a lot like smores. I could pick out the graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallow and it made a mess on my fingers like a real one would. I think I would have preferred multiple smaller marshmallows on top instead of one large one as that came off in one bite. But, they were much better tasting than I expected. Note: Despite the wax paper liner in the box, I suggest not putting them on your car seat when you pick them up as they are a bit greasy and it goes through the cardboard. You have been warned. Prices aren't cheap, and I assume they are a little more if you elect for delivery. But in these hard times we all need to splurge on something now and then and also support local places. I did both of those, so this was a two-fer.

"There was a girl in Portland Before the winter chill…read moreWe used to go a-courtin' Along October hill" (Johnny Cash) We stopped in a few days ago and were very impressed by October Kitchen's variety, price, value, service, and most importantly, the quality of their foods, When you walk in you'll see a big menu board with today's listings, a freezer case and a refrigerated case loaded up with the foods. This made it pretty easy for us to review the menu and zero in on what we wanted, which was four items. Our server Anca was very pleasant and professional, and enhanced our entire consumer experience. We went with a small container of freshly made egg salad, a small container of grilled shrimp ($5), Meatballs with rice and vegetables ($13), and a frozen eggplant lasagna ($9). The egg salad was very good. Just egg and Light Hellman's Mayo and nothing else. It was a pretty much perfect batch, and a good convenient value at $5. The shelled "tail-on" grilled shrimp were five large nicely seasoned pieces that were delicious. We split the Asian Meatballs dish for dinner tonight. It was a big 19-ounce container with three Asian meatballs, rice, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots, squash, zucchini and scallions. A half portion was plentiful, the meatballs were excellent, and the sweet chili sauce added a zippy finishing touch. If the eggplant lasagna is half as good as the meatball dish, I'd be very happy. Some of the other intriguing listings we saw on their menu were Balsamic Shredded Beef, Turkey Cutlets with Fontina, Garlic Parmesan Flounder, Spanish Rice with Chicken & Shrimp, soups, salads, and desserts. Definitely worth your while to stop in and check out their grab and go goods.
