Unfortunately, they do not heat up the pot pie for you. We got a soup flight instead, $10 for 3 shot glass sizes of soup and a bag of croutons. Docked a star for being a bit on the pricier side for all the items and food options and not being able to heat up any of the food items on display.

I've had the fried chicken twice now and it's perfect -- The mashed potatoes are an ultra smooth purée. I had the garlic greens and must say I like them even better than the mashed potatoes!! It's worth a lot to walk into such a cute place and have a great experience every time. Still 5 stars!!!

A plant based empanada foodie spot! Exactly what my life needed with convenient delivery option…read moreavailable. As a vegetarian I'm always on the hunt for the best of the best in vegetarian cuisine. I'm officially in love with the Plant Palate and their F I R E empanadas. Handmade, baked to order, these empanadas are a feel good meal. Make sure to try their rice and beans side. They have a little kick too! So I ordered the ground beef copycat signature empanadas which can easily fool ya. I honestly had to do a double take because just from the look it felt like this was real ground beef. The sriracha mayo gave it the perfect kick too! To put this empanada to the test, we told our meat eating sister that this was a ground beef empanada and ours was the vegetarian one. She ate it convinced that it was meat. A few hours later we finally told her she had the same one we did. She couldn't believe it and it really had her fooled. So 100% compliments to the chef! They also sell sweet (nutella) empanadas (I'll def be trying this one next time). Bottom line: vegan, vegetarian or meat eater, you NEED to try the plant palate. It will leave your palate having a party with the extra spicy kick and the bomb flavors. Thanks to the Plant Palate for making amazing food like this. Can't wait to try some more!

One of the young girls working there was too busy eating French fries to attend to the place. I get being hungry while working but at least hide it. It looked so unprofessional especially while there was so much that needed to be attended to. Also the appearance from the outside makes the place look sketchy and like it's possibly closed so it could use some updating, some eye catching signage or liveliness in general. The menu, coffee selection, whoever is cooking, phenomenal job. I would go back.

It's one of the businesses on that stretch of Broadway to endure while others have changed hands. So the other day, I decided to take a peek inside and find out what's for lunch. Chicken Vindaloo. There was also a vegetarian option. Each cost $15. The vindaloo was really delicious. I could smell it as soon as I walked in. The location is both a gift shop/ market and restaurant. There's dry goods and ready-made foods for sale on the shelves as well as brightly hand-painted gifts such as food storage containers and kitchen towels.I bought both as gifts for friends. I also got an order of vindaloo to eat-in along with unsweetened ice tea. The meal was delicious. The business owner is gracious and helpful. Her ready-made lunches are served in what look to be attractive eco- friendly paper containers. When I let her know that I couldn't finish my meal, she smiled and said," I'll give you a cover for the container so you can take it home." The cover fit perfectly and was secure. All my experiences with her have left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I have overlooked it until recently. She's not nice, she tries to be pleasant but comes off insincere. Recently I spent almost $100 there and ate there. The meals come with a very small/trial size condiment/chutney that holds maybe a tbsp of content. I asked for another one and she was hesitant, she told me that I could buy them and pointed to a shelf. Seriously, I couldn't believe it! I asked again and she reluctantly gave me a different condiment babbling about how there are different ones. Nm that I just spent a lot of money for mediocre food! The frozen butternut squash and lemongrass was very watery and lacked flavor. I used it as a broth that's how watery it was. The hot chai was bland and watery with no taste of spices. The chicken curry was decent but again lacked depth of flavor and was on the watery side. It's very sad bc I like Indian food and want to support local businesses but not when you're treated like this esp by the owner who is very cheap and unpleasant. Food has gone downhill and watering everything down to cut costs doesn't help. And it's way overpriced like other reviewers state.
