The property is huge and there's so much open space, so it was nice to just wander around and enjoy the scenery. We also got some cider and popcorn and of course had to get the apple cider donuts. We grabbed a chocolate chip cookie from the pie truck too and that was really good. I love that they have different food and dessert pop-ups throughout the season, so there's always something else to try. The staff we interacted with were really nice and everything was easy. Such a pretty spot for a fall day and I'd definitely come back for apple picking again!

I will definitely be putting this on my rotation of orchards to go to. Such a cute little farm!…read moreIt's not very big and not overly crowded which I really liked. We went early this year so they only had 3 different types of apples available for picking. We picked honey crisp, gala and Jonah Mac. They had a beautiful sunflower farm. The property is so pretty and I loved how they had a fire pit with the Adirondack chairs around it. There was a tap room which had all different types of beverages and ciders. Couple of food trucks and their donuts were delicious! Highly recommend checking out this farm.

Picking was a good time. People were nice. The market was clean and organized . Many different…read moreitems to choose from you don't find at a local grocery store. Goats were cute and fun to watch. Only 3 issues...the market has no prices on the fruits and vegetables as I paid $8.50 for a pint of raspberries. A bag of 6 DRY cinnamon and sugar donuts for $12 and a tip jar out at the field and in the store. I'm picking my own stuff why would I tip ? Same in the store. Overall it was good I'll know better next year to ask for prices.

When we arrived, on June 17, 2026, prime season for strawberries and snap peas, we were greated by a friendly young woman named Erin, who operated the admission booth. She provided us with two small containers for the snap peas and two larger for the strawberries and explained that we can pick whatever we want, and only pay for what we harvest. We acquired some beautifully fresh snap peas and freshly sweet strawberries. We visited the store, which offered typical farm store goods. There was nothing overly impressive about the store, but it is worth a look. We loved this place and even though it is more than an hour away, this will be our go to place to pick your own fruits and vegetables. We are looking forward to bluberries season in early July!

One of the things I love about exploring the Hudson Valley is discovering places where food,…read morefarming, and community all come together. Wright's Farm in Gardiner is exactly that kind of place. Established in 1904, this beautiful family farm offers an incredible selection of fresh produce, delicious baked goods, homemade jams, honey, pickles, breads, plants, and so much more. I was especially impressed by their greenhouse operation, which includes both hydroponic and aquaponic growing systems. They grow fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and strawberries right on the property using innovative growing methods. The farm itself is beautiful, with apple and peach orchards, fields of wildflowers, and plenty of seasonal produce. There's also a great selection of perennial plants for anyone looking to add something new to their garden. And there's even a brewery right on the property, making Wright's Farm more than just a place to pick up groceries. It's a destination to explore, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley. From the incredible selection of locally produced foods to the beautiful landscape and innovative farming practices, Wright's Farm was definitely a highlight of our visit. Fresh food, local farms, beautiful scenery, and a true Hudson Valley experience. I'm looking forward to coming back.

We discovered Wright's Farm by accident, our hotel concierge recommended we stop by the local farm…read morestand. Once we pull in, from the outside it seems like a typical farm stand. Walking inside, it's a different experience at Wright's Farm. This visit, I want to buy a bottle of local wine and some local cheese then go back to the hotel. I see there is a very nice selection of Hudson Valley and regional wines. I also buy a nice local, spreadable cheese along with some crackers. I noticed towards the back, I see a wall of homemade jams. And they're all packaged in these cute mason jars! Strawberry Jelly is a must but then we went a little nutzo with a few more jam flavors as well as homemade apple sauces, fresh cheeses and pickles! Sunday, its check out time and we're heading back to Long Island after breakfast. My wife said we need to go shopping for dinner today. I said, Let's go back to Wright's Farm and pick up dinner? And this was the highlight of our trip. In the cold cases, I see homemade ravioli, one of the stuffings was corn? I had plans to stop in The Bronx and get a few boxes of Raviolis. I gambled and said lets try their corn ravioli. O.M.G. This ravioli was fantastic! My wife made it with fresh sage from our herb garden. It was a little pricey but it was better than anything I had this year. For the week, we bought a large ham steak and a ham hock for pea soup. I saw something interesting, a black futsu squash? I told my wife, lets buy one and take a chance. Amazing! My wife cooked this squash and it came out deelish. Dessert? My sons inhaled the apple cider doughnuts we bought home for them. Wright's Farm, it was a pleasant surprise to discover your local farmstand.
