Cute tea shop, we got the Thai tea and mango smoothie. Both were really good. I love how you have the kiosk to order, you can take your time without feeling rushed. Tea shop is clean and staff were friendly.
DaYung's Tea is one of my new favorite boba spots in the valley! I stopped by on Easter Sunday, and thankfully they were open. They weren't packed, but even if it were, there's ample seating inside with tables and booths. There's free WiFi, individual men and women's bathrooms, a quiet ambiance (at least it was on the Sunday afternoon when I visited), and board games! I inquired if they make the ceylon black tea in a milk tea and was informed that that's exactly what the boba milk tea is. The boba cost is included in the drink price. Although it wasn't on the menu, I asked for a foam on top, and a vanilla cold foam was added on top of my drink for an additional $1. I don't know the exact volume of the cup, but it seems a little bigger than normal bobas due to its width (but maybe I'm tripping). Ultimately, I spent under $10 for a customized drink that I love and couldn't be happier! I loved the taste of the tea specifically and the sweetness of the rest of the drink. It felt very well-balanced. I'm glad I made the trek to try this place out and know I'll be back!
This place was alright. I wanted Boba, but I didn't get any, probably because I didn't specifically ask it to be added. That's on me. The drinks by themselves were good though. I got 2 drinks a macchiato and a milk tea and they were both very good! The sugar jelly was quite interesting! The macchiato would have been peak with some brown sugar boba in it ;)
I never thought I'd say this, but adding boba to my coffee might be my new obsession--and DaYung's Boba in Tempe nailed it. I ordered their house coffee (smooth, perfectly brewed, with just the right kick) and, on a whim, added boba pearls. Best decision ever! What I Loved: * House Coffee: Rich and balanced--not too bitter, not too weak. Perfect on its own. * Boba Addition: The chewy pearls add such a fun texture and just the right hint of sweetness. It transforms your morning cup into something special. * Service: Super friendly baristas who are happy to make recommendations and customize your drink. * Ambiance: Bright, modern, and clean with plenty of seating. Great spot to work or catch up with friends. * Extras: They've got a full menu of teas, smoothies, and bakery items if you want to switch it up next time. If you're a coffee lover who's curious about boba (or a boba fan who needs a caffeine boost), do yourself a favor and try the house coffee with boba at DaYung's. You won't regret it!
Was looking for a quick spot to grab some boba tea and so glad I found this spot! Upon walking in staff was so warming & welcome It was est. in 2001! They offer milk and non dairy options! I ordered a taro green milk tea and my best friend ordered the same but blended! They play music and it's a chill spot to get some work done as well as others were doing so.
Favorite drink here is the taro green milk tea. Anything with latte in the name has whole milk and anything with milk tea has non dairy milk! I believe it is coconut milk. I got full sweetness and it came out perfect! I was told ahead of time the taro will be a bit grainy as they blend real taro! Drinks came fast and it's a very bright & clean place. I can taste the infused green tea and fresh milk!
I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was delicious! They use real taro, not the powder, so the drink has some chunks in it and isn't purple colored. The staff made sure to explain that when I ordered and were very helpful. There's a few different seating options and some cute plants inside.
Great place to stop by on a hella hot day. Friendly service and refreshing winter melon drink gave me the what I needed
Overall, Dayung's is a pretty good milk tea spot! The prices are a little on the higher side, but the drinks are worth trying. I got my favorite -- the classic boba milk tea -- and luckily the pearls weren't soaked in too much brown sugar, so it wasn't overly sweet. The milk tea has a nice hint of caramel flavor, which is great if you like that kind of taste. The shop has a clean, simple vibe. Service was just okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Would definitely come back again when I'm craving something sweet but not too heavy!
Hands down some of the best boba I had! The staff here is so friendly and efficient. My partner ordered a banana milk tea with aiyu jelly. I ordered my usual of an oolong milk tea with tapioca and pudding. All of the drinks were made to order with one size only, and they have plenty of chairs and tables for people to hang out and enjoy their drinks. There's also board and card games. The place is clean and located in a strip mall. There's free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. They also give punch cards, where you can collect 10 stamps for a free drink. I would totally come back here when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend DaYung to anyone in the area looking for bubble tea.
This place is usually a solid 5 for me, but I also haven't visited in the longest time. Something was just off about my recent visit. I'm not sure if it's because I came on a weekday in the summer, or perhaps something else? For starters there was a strange smell, and it wasn't faint.. it honestly smelled like the sewer backed up to put it bluntly. I don't know how the employees could handle it, perhaps you go scent blind after a while? Which brings me to the next thing that was off... the service. No one was cheerful, or lively. They were just going through the motions, and I felt that my ordering drinks was a hassle to the lady cashing me out. I ordered my old favorite, Fresh Fruit Tea, and my husband the Boba Milk Tea. Drinks were good and as we remembered them t
My family and I like DaYung. They use fresh fruit like strawberries and mango when they are in season. The strawberry fresh milk & strawberry passion is one of our favorites. The mango boba drinks are what we get too. Their Jasmine green tea is alright, but what they are really known for & what they are good at making is fresh fruit teas. Only negative is price increase and they sometimes run out of boba. They offer stamp cards. Highly recommend!
If you want boba drinks that taste delicious, this is the place to go. They have many different flavors, such as milk tea, tea, coffee, and fruit smoothies. They also have varieties of toppings, such as boba, grass jelly, aiyu, chia seeds, Oreo, macchiato, coconut jelly, etc. The service was great. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Our order was taken and the drinks was ready in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere of the store was relaxing. The put a lot of plants around the store, making it a place to relax. I do believe it will be more relaxing if they use darker paint for their wall. But as far as drinks concern, it was tasty and delicious. During this visit I got my personal favorite green milk tea and my wife got the new cloud coffee. The cloud coffee tasted like a blended Vietnamese coffee. I actually like it better than normal Viet coffee because I like blended drinks lol Also they closed on Monday and Tuesday. So if you free on other days, definitely check it out guys!

Friendly people. 5$ minimum on debit/credit card. Their only menu was located at the very front of the cash register, simple, small and laminated. The drink sizes are limited majority being Large. The woman working the register was kind and courteous. She welcomed us as we walked in, gave us samples while we looked at the menu and offered recommendations. My friend ordered a L Kiwi Smoothie, the menu however didn't describe there being apples in it until she mentioned it so be aware of that. I ordered a L Jade Lemonade w Boba and Aiyu(Jelly). This was one of the samples she offered and I liked it. Because of the 5$ minimum card charge I had to get 2 extras added in. No complaints, especially since when asked what a good recommendation would be for this particular drink it turned out great. Didn't even realize it was a Taiwanese place until we had a discussion on Aiyu so pretty ignorant on my end but learned something new! read more
Awesome experience and lucky we stopped by here to get boba. We are from Vegas and it was our first time visiting this boba gem! We have been drinking boba for more than 10 years and have tried many varieties and many stores. We always do our go to boba so we can tell the difference from each resturant. Husband got the jasmine green tea and I got the jasmine milk tea. Both of us enjoyed our drinks. You can clearly taste the tea from eat drink. They don't put too much ice and the boba was not drowned by honey or any sweetener to drown the taste of the tea. I liked that they have their history on their wall and the ambiance of the place was a place where you can chill and relax. Music was a mixture of oriental music as well as English music. I would suggest they have board games or card games for people to just have time to sit, drink boba, and hang out with friends. That's what a lot of Vegas boba places do. If we ever return, we definitely will stop by again! read more

My favorite spot for BOBA!!!! I like the atmosphere and the menu. Yummy tea!! There is a young lady at the register who is super friendly and kind. She gives you an idea of what you would like. They always have samples to try and you get a huge selection. I wish they had more locations. I drive 20 min to go here but so worth it! Keep up the great job!! read more
Amazing boba!! Super authentic and you get so much for the price! I couldn't finish mine. The staff was all super friendly and helpful when I asked which ones are popular and they have a stamp card so after 9 (I think) you get the 10th one free!! So fun!! read more

When I'm Tempe, a must stop. Love the freshness of this joint! They always have a sample of the drink of the day and I always end up getting that! The teas are delish and boba fresh. It pops for me with the variety of unique flavors and options available. Had the lemon black ice tea and black tea boba in our last visit and it hit the spot! read more

Vegan reviewer here. I just went to this spot for the first time about a month ago and now I stop by every week! First, their boba is soaked in cane sugar not honey making it veg-friendly. Most boba drinks I've had are non-dairy creamer based but their vegan options were tea based which was refreshing and crisp! I honestly didn't think I'd be satisfied with a tea based drink but I was wrong. You can tell the ingredients are fresh along with the boba. Unfortunately they don't have any plant based milk so traditional drink flavors like Taro and Green tea are off limits. My go-to is the Wintermelon GuanYin tea, add boba along with the orange beauty, add boba which I highly recommend. They have tasty add ons like chia seeds and aloe. All sizes are 25 oz and under $5! You're also able to pick the sugar content with most drinks along with how much iced you'd like. The staff is always friendly and always gets my order right. This is the best boba spot in town. read more

Only been here twice, but both times have been A+! I'm excited that more boba places are opening up around here seeing that I've been spoiled in California. I've only had their boba milk tea, but that's usually how I rate a new boba place I'm trying. The flavor of the tea, the sweetness, and the tapioca balls were all on point. Plus they give you a huge serving for a decent price ($3.75). Another reason why I'm a fan...they are so nice here! They always ask if I want samples and are friendly every time. Sometimes a rarity! PS: They do take credit card, but will charge a fee if it's under a certain amount. read more

I can't praise this place enough! Drinks are amazing, best I have ever tried in AZ! Actually even better than a lot of popular places in CA. The fruit tea are comparable to roasting water and tastea of gargen grove. They are currently out of wintermelon tea but I really have high hope that it's just as good as Kungfu tea of Vegas. However, this place flavor profile is a bit different and unique! You can still taste the tea flavor as aftertaste so it s not overpowering as all! :) Milk tea are really good! My bf and I really like their guayan tea and their bobas are amazing!!! One only thing I don't like is how ice the drinks are. I just don't like sucking up ice and numb my mouth :( however, for some drink they say they can't do it without so I just left it there for the ice to dissolve. read more

Once I walked in, I was greeted promptly by the girl behind the cashier. She was super friendly and gave us samples of the strawberry smoothie (super refreshing) and the Guan yin latte (made with oolong tea). When she gave me the drink, she stated that if the drink is too sweet, they can change it for me. I took a sip of it and it did end up being too sweet for me. I felt so bad asking her to re-make mine 50% sweet, but she was so nice and friendly about it. :) After the drink was re-made it was sooooooo good! I think this might be my new go to spot! read more

Had no idea what to get, so I was shuffling through the yelp photos. I'm pretty attached to jasmine milk tea so I kind of wanted to venture out and try something different. One of the ladies brought out samples of the Wintermelon GuanYin Tea and it was reallyyyyy good! So that's what I got with 70% sweetness and less ice. read more

The milk tea boba drink from this place is really good and affordable! It was $3.75 for a large (they only have one size for milk teas) but when I went they were doing a promo for this specific drink. So it was probably around $3.50? However, it was a big drink! They also give you a lot of boba and the bobas are just right. Chewy and the right amount of sweetness. It is also cool how they have one drink that you can try a sample of. The drink menu is limited - I think it's because they just opened up recently. There is not snack menu so this is strictly just a tea shop for now I guess. The space is quite spacious inside. There are quite a few tables. The lighting is very bright and cold toned. As of right now, this shop does not have any games for customers to play. If you want to hang out and play games with your friends, you need to bring your own. There is a $5 minimum for cards. If you do not meet the amount there is a .50 cents charge. read more

Boba milk tea is ! I saw the reviews and needed to try this place! 1st thing you'll notice about this place is that it's nice and clean compared to the actual vicinity of where it's located at! The menu is fairly simple yet they seem to put on emphasis on everything being very fresh! I tried the boba milk tea and it was great! The boba texture was perfect, which makes or breaks how I feel about a boba place! Good amount of sweetness, good amount of milkiness, overall it's a very refreshing drink. My wife had a "pink beauty" which is a slush drink that was recommend by the cashier. It was alright. I think the consistency between the ice and liquid was not right, so it turned out to be too icy. Also it maybe needed a little bit more sweetness. We told the lady it was our first time here, and she didn't really explain the menu that great. I JUST learned afterwards, that you can ask for different percentages of sweetness. I'll have to update my review once I get more drinks from this place, but overall it's a great place for milk tea. I wouldn't recommend getting the slush drinks. read more

Guan Yin Latte is freaking yummy. I love the ice texture in it (which is weird). They have a new special every week and the employees are always super considerate and kind. Always very clean. As you can see from other picture, there is tons of Boba in each one (which is my favorite part). You can also change the sweetness level but I stay around 50-70. The fruity ones are very fruity but my fiancé likes them and I think they are pretty good, I'm just not a fruit person. read more
