Daystar Doors - Our broken garage door - Garage Door Services Near Me

Our garage door opener was failing so I needed to have a new one installed. Daystar responded to a Yelp email that was sent to a few contractors. Chatting back and forth was a breeze. Daystar's quoted price was very reasonable too. Daystar gave me a recommendation on what type of opener to purchase, which I bought after setting up a time frame for installation the next day. Daystar arrived within the time period, was very professional and installed my door opener within 30 minutes. I was very impressed with the entire process from the start to the finish, but more importantly, my wife is happy. I would recommend Daystar Doors to anyone needed installation of a new garage door opener. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I've been skeptical on a lot of places and services throughout the DVM, but this company (hands down) is fantastic! They are PROFESSIONAL and very RESPONSIVE. I called 'Daystar Doors' and they fixed my garage door a few weeks ago. A few weeks later, I experienced an issue with my garage door. I called 'DayStar Doors' (FRI morning) and although they had their schedules prepared two weeks in advanced--they were still able to fit me in their schedule (SAT morning) and fixed my issue. They're customers are their #1 priority and will go out of their way to provide services. No if's and/or but's, they will do their best to accommodate. This company is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and they deserve the FIVE STARS! if you ever have any issues with your garage door--give them a call! Thanks again 'Daystar Doors' for fixing my garage door! read more

The only reason I deducted one star is that the individual that answered my initial call on Saturday assured me the technician would arrive at noon the following day, but Dayo did not arrive until one. When asked why I didn't get a call explaining the delay, Dayo said the person I spoke to should have given me a two hour window instead of a specific arrival time. With that said, Dayo was exceptionally good at his craft. After approving the quoted new system installation price, I asked how long it would take. He said "One hour". I didn't believe it, but the old system was removed, all the moving hinges were oiled, the new unit was installed, an exterior keypad that I had was installed and my phone control app was installed all in 58 minutes. He has installed the Chamberlain system so many times that there are no wasted motions in his work flow. It was a pleasure watching him work. I would recommend him very highly. read more

DayStar Doors is easily the most responsive, fairly priced, and honorable third-party vendor I've worked with in ages. They booked the job within two hours of the request, showed up within 24 hours, and had the entire project done in under 45 minutes. I used yelp to ask for quotes. Daystar was very responsive and provided the best quote. I messaged them at night 11 PM, that I will go with them, and provided my address, and the technician was here at 9:40 in the morning, and the job was done by 10:15 AM. Very happy with the prompt service. The technician was knowledgeable and provided me with all explanations before starting the work. They also provide a 2-year limited warranty for the new spring. Daystar Doors was amazing. I requested service on yelp and I felt like they were psychic or something because as soon as I hit send I got a call on my cell phone! I told him the problem I was having, mind you this was 7:30 am, and by 10 am they were at my house. He replaced a broken spring, had the right size with him, and reinforced my door. The price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. They even serviced the door so that it is quieter now and runs smoother. I was very impressed and will recommend them to anyone I know that needs garage door services. Great job! read more

Very prompt next day service, quick diagnosis of issue and repair to replace broken springs

Wow!! Super fast. I used Yelp! To get multiple bids and Daystar was able to come out within about 1 hour and replaced the garage door motor and the open/close button and supplied two garage door opener remotes. An electrical surge destroyed the old motor. Total cost was $435 - motor and two remotes. Highly recommend!!!!!!! read more

I requested an estimate for a garage door that was stick open with a twisted track. I received a prompt, friendly response and an estimate that was slightly below others in the area. As an added bonus, the technician was available to come out and quickly complete the repair. He was very knowledgeable, explained the damage and root cause (in short, some support beams have to eventually be replaced), and explained work that will have to take place in the future but he emphasized that we can wait a while longer before completing more costly repairs. Really appreciated the honest take and friendly banter. Highly recommend. read more

We had a fairly basic repair (broken spring) and they had the needed size and special tools on hand when they arrived the next day. Daystar doors was the best!! We had an issue with the garage door motor and I received a response from them via Yelp within mins on a Sunday morning. The technician showed up exactly as scheduled within an hour (on that Sunday) of my call and immediately figured out the issue and fixed the problem. I can't recommend them enough and did I say they also quoted the best price? They're the real deal and I was at first a little hesitant given the dearth of reviews on Yelp. Going forward I'll be sure to use their service. Also extra points that the technician used excellent social distancing skills and a mask at all times in the vicinity of anyone. read more
