The bottom line, I couldn't get the same model that they installed two years ago, the new model will only work with their own garage door key pad that costs over $100, they swear universal key pad remotes can't be paired with it as they are operating omn their own unique frequency... The new machine is about $400 more than the one from two years ago... I swear it looks the exact same... If you have deep pockets, give them a call...

I can now open the door whenever power is out because I have a battery backup. My kids can get into the house using the outside key pad. Sometimes I wonder, "did I close the door when I left?"--now I just look on my iPhone. If it's open I can use my iPhone to close it. If someone comes to deliver, I can open the garage for them to put it safely inside and close it when they're gone. I can even watch them do it on my camera, installed on the opener.
