    Iced Caramel & Vanilla Latte

I'm very picky when it comes to my iced coffee... But this place really out did themselves with my iced caramel & vanilla latte! 10/10 will definitely come back!

A super cute and cozy place to study as a student or WFH! The baristas were super nice and our drinks came out fast. I ordered the regular matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla and it came out to almost $9, and the matcha flavor was not really there, it tasted mostly like milk. My friend got the matcha with honey but couldn't really taste any of the honey. I would give the matchas a 3/5 but the study environment a 5/5!

Verrrrrrry cute place. In the heart of UT Austin but easy for street parking and sweet student baristas, plenty of space to work or study at.

Happened upon this spot, so, so, cute, they have nailed the European hotel lobby asthetic. The barista was very sweet, but made a tepid coffee. The live plants need major TLC, I'm happy to help! We will be back!

I was so excited to try this place because of all the online reviews and TikTok videos but I was unfortunately very disappointed. If you are looking for a place to study, 10/10 recommend this place. Wifi is at a solid speed, the interior design is fantastic, and the vibes are immaculate. In terms of the study space, there is a large variety of tables so it is a great spot for independent work or group work. There are different sections in the cafe/Rambler area that you can pick and choose from for your preferred noise level. The interior design is really clean and very aesthetic, downstairs has all your neutral nude clay tones and upstairs gives contemporary beach vibes. But I came today to try out their Matcha latte and it was quite mid :( I asked their barista what they would recommend and was given the Vanilla Lavender Matcha Latte and although the color was promising, the flavor did not fulfill that promise. It was watered down and could not taste the matcha. TLDR: great place to study, not a great place for coffee

Located in West Campus, this is the perfect space to get some work done or host intimate meetings. They have plenty of seating with various options like cozy booths, long tables, or small tables. The place is decorated head-to-toe in bold wallpaper, beautiful furniture, and pink marble tables. Even the bathrooms (individual rooms) are gorgeous, with fun print and white marble walls. They just opened to the public a few weeks ago and are not too busy yet. The barista was super kind and quick to make our coffees. They offer all the usual suspects for espresso beverages, as well as cold brew, drip coffee, chai tea, hot chocolate, and tea. I ordered the Honey Oat Latte (espresso, oat milk, honey) and the coffee tasted great, but was a bit mild. You can also grab a bite to eat with choice of Tacodeli tacos or assorted pastries from Quack's Bakery. Highly recommend checking it out!

The space was super cute. Apparently it is considered one of the amenities of the apartment building it is inside, but is a separate entity so guests can come enjoy coffee that don't live in the building. There is only one door into the building that is unlocked to non-resident guests. It is on/near UT's campus, so I think it is student housing. The lobby and various seating areas are all decorated very cute. I got a cinnamon roll and a peppermint latte with oat milk. Both were good but not rave-worthy. I think the overall cuteness of the space made it much more enjoyable, but as an adult who does not attend or work at UT, I probably won't be back often. It very much felt like a college spot. If that doesn't bother you or you are in that age range, it may be fine, but I felt a little weird. It was fun to try though!

Already daydreaming about my next visit to @daydreamercafe. It is so dreamy y'all! The aesthetic is perfection and it is the absolute cutest space to work in. Iced sugar cookie latte got me in the holiday spirit and bonus it is topped with sprinkles.

I love to explore coffee shops in the ATX, which is probably why you see a plethora of reviews on coffee shops. This past week was no different! I work from home, so I'm always looking for coffee shops that have great coffee + WiFi. Okay, let's review: Upon first glance: beautiful! (Please take note that this is in the heart of UT, so parking is a pain. I found parking after 20 mins of scouting out. Make sure you pay for it!) To continue: gorgeous interior. I was soooo excited to get my working stuff done. Finding a place to sit and get comfortable was not a challenge. Loved the ambiance and it was not crowded at alllllll. But, y'all, there was no WiFi provided. I was actually SHOOK. I had not been into a coffee shop where internet access was not possible. I put on my hot spot and worked for an hour, since the trek to get to this coffee shop was no joke. Now to the important part--coffee: I'm sorry, but not good. I order my usual, which is a vanilla latte with oat milk (hot). It tasted like milk. Little coffee. Big no-no. If you want to come here and just chill with no work to get done, go for it! But to all my WFH peeps, make sure you have a hot spot.

The decorations and the aesthetic of this coffee shop make it one of the most luxurious coffee shops in Austin! It's very spacious and there are plenty of charging stations as well. I got a Waterloo Matcha which is a matcha latte with honey and oat milk. At first, I was worried that it was going to be super sweet because of the honey, but oat milk and matcha perfectly balanced it out! Since I live near UT campus, I would come here often but people who don't live close by would have a problem finding parking spaces. Additionally, the major drawback of this coffee shop was that they didn't have their own wifi yet. The barista told me that they were working on it, but I personally think having a wifi connection is a bare minimum for a coffee shop.

I met a friend here the weekend before Thanksgiving. The place is super spacious for this area. I found pay to park street parking a block away on 23rd Street between Rio Grande and San Gabriel. I ordered a large chai latte that I fully enjoyed and sat in a cute booth. The place was empty for us since most student were out of town for Thanksgiving. I would love to come back one morning before it gets too crowded.

The seating is what attracted us to this cute little coffee shop, located in the lobby of an apartment complex on campus. We grabbed a matcha latte and a regular latte and they were pretty good and added extra sweetness to the matcha and to my surprise I finished it in less than 10 min. It was the perfect texture and flavor would definitely Come back to also enjoy the vibe of the place. The area is quite busy with students coming in and out of the building but still a very nice place to enjoy a drink.

    The booth that's allegedly a resident-only area.

This coffee shop is really cute, but with it being a newer coffee shop it has some kinks to work out. First off, there's no WiFi at the moment. They're working on getting it, but just a heads up. Also, they share the space with luxury student housing but don't have any visual indicators separating the resident space from non-resident space. I didn't know I was sitting in the wrong area, which looks identical to the coffee shop interior, until someone from the student housing area rudely asked me to move. After reading the reviews from the residents, I don't blame them for being annoyed by non-residents taking their space though. I think everyone would appreciate some sort of sign to keep customers out of the resident area! :) I think once they iron out these kinks it will be a great place to grab a coffee and get some work done! The staff are kind, the coffee is good, and there's plenty of gorgeous non-resident space to hang out.

I may be the current Duke of this location, but there is still a lot for me to try. And dang, I really want one of those really nice tote bags. Before I discuss the coffee order I got this time. I wanted to shout out the customer service for being ridiculously amazing. Maybe it was because I got there super early and right when they opened, but this was the first time I did not see them super stressed and low-key freaking out. I usually walk away with my beverages, but this time I sat down. One of the baristas actually came out and checked on me to see how my drinks were. I found this to be super special. Okay, now onto the dirty chai that I ordered. I asked (when I asked about the floral notes that I was tasting) if they made their own chai in house and the woman told me that they in fact did. She also mentioned that I got the end of the house-made batch so what I was tasting might be different from a normal order. I thought this was quite interesting and this was another unique beverage, despite being a staple at many coffee shops. Would I order it again? Probably not but it was good! Also, with the Shoyu butterscotch, I would stick to the iced version. So thank you Desnudo for another great vibe and for making my one hour round-trip always worth it!

This family owned shop has been roasting beans locally since 1972 and focuses on helping customers brew excellent coffee at home rather than serving coffee drinks on premises. According to the store manager, Mr. Anderson occasionally comes into the store. The selection of freshly roasted beans is rather larger, with store favorites like Guatemala Antiqua, Dark Sumatra and Arabian Mocha cited as most popular. Coffee cost on average $19 per pound. In addition to coffee, the store carries loose leaf teas, mugs, candy, cards, coffee pot sweaters, brewing equipment, and small other gift items, to name just a few items.
