They need to figure out how to do time management. Don't say walk in's welcome and then you wait for almost 30 minutes, to have yourself bumped and told to come back in 2 hours. I understand I don't have an appointment and the priority is with someone that has an appointment, but my point is, let the walk in's know that you have someone with an appt that's coming and that they will be available for me within the next 2 hours. read more

This salon has two locations next to each other. I have been been here about 5 times ( just moved to the area 5 months ago). First few times I went to the location in the little strip mall and enjoyed the service, even when I had to wait for 15 minutes or so since I just walk in. The last two times I came here, I walked it to a room with zero or only a couple of customers (multiple technicians not doing anything but chatting with each other) and was told to go to the other location. When I asked why I can get a pedicure here, the answer was a dismissive "they will do it". The service in the separate building, appears to be more of a training location vice the skilled technicians in the strip mall location. I will be finding a new nail salon. read more

My daughter and I went here on a recommendation from a friend. I had called ahead and spoken with Tina, the owner (I believe?) to make an appointment- we arrived and they got right to work. Super friendly, funny, and kind staff and they brought us complementary iced Vietnamese coffee that was delicious! The service was efficient but gentle, with the nail techs asking me to let them know if anything hurt. A nice change from the sometimes jarring cuticle push downs, filing, etc. (I have never had such detailed attention paid to my cuticles, btw.) I got a lovely hot stone massage for my feet/calves and a neck/shoulder massage as well during my service! My daughter opted for a full set plus art (which turned out really great!) and I went with a simple gel mani/pedi. We had a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back. Go see Tina and her team! This place is very efficient. I felt super pampered because of the free drink (iced Vietnamese coffee which feels like such a treat). I usually head to a nail salon for a pedicure, and it costs $28 here. They scrubbed my feet, gave me a good massage, and provided a hot towel. While I didn't have an appointment, I called on Sunday morning and they told me to come at 11:30am. Right on the dot, they were able to get me into a chair. I love the friendly owner and the yummy iced coffee, but the quality of my full set was not up to par. I asked for x short almond. They only had square medium length tips, which they put on my nails and tried to shape into almond. It was not consistent, each nail was a different length or shape and way too long for my liking. I used to come here a lot before the pandemic, I came about 2 weeks ago, and the service wasn't like I remembered. I did a basic mani and pedi, the pedi was done by an older woman, she was not thorough and my nails still felt like it needed a more thorough cleaning done. Within a week the gel started coming off, I peeled off the gel color and the nails under were not clean and cuticles look like they were barely trimmed, it was not like how I've gotten in other nail salons. The manicure was done by a younger woman. Her massage was brief, it felt like the lady we did my manicure was rushing. They're still busy, and parking in the lot is better. But the energy in the salon didn't feel like it did pre covid, hard to explain. It felt friendly, but also forced. They still offer the complimentary drinks. I went here for the second time yesterday. I don't get my nails done often and this is the second time since 2017 or 2018. I walked in and was greeted by everyone, even those working on customers. I said I wanted a manicure and they told me to choose my nail polish color. Once I chose the color I sat down and they asked me what I wanted to drink. I ordered red wine :) Le did my nails. She was very thorough with my cuticles and making sure when she was shaping my nails that they were even. She was very quick but accurate! She did multiple layers and even after she completed my nails she repainted one of my nails bc she saw something wrong with it which I truly admire. She also did the parafan wax and gave me a back and hand massage. It was heaven! I will definitely come back and maybe more often. If you need an unimpressive manicure, this is the place to go. It's clean, offers gel and regular nail polish, and prices are reasonable. I had a regular shellac manicure (declined the wax and massage due to limited time) and asked for my cuticles to not be cut. The nail tech did not paint any of my nails fully. The sides were without polish, but she did the manicure in less than 30 minutes so timing wise, I would say it's an efficient manicure. There are also small bumps in my nails, probably from dust particles or bubbles?? I have been here several times and they are always quick with their service, so I appreciate that. When I had my special occasion wedding nails done, I went to a different nail salon, but I do think this place is acceptable for a regular manicure. read more

I went here regularly for years, pre-COVID. After today, I'll never go back. Today I arrived for a 4pm gel manicure appointment to find the shop completely empty. No customers. No nail techs. I waited a few minutes to see if anyone would arrive. When no one did I went to their shop next door for help. All of the chairs at this location were full and everyone seemed occupied. I let them know that I had an appointment and that the other location was completely empty. They told me to pick out my polish from the wall while I waited. Because most of their gel polish bottles are not labeled, this required opening each individually so that I could see what color was inside. After choosing my polish, I waited another TWENTY MINUTES without being attended to. I finally asked if anyone was now at the other shop who could help me. I went *back* to other shop and all of their seats were now also full. Finally, someone told me to come to the manicure table and pulled out a pair of clippers that were clearly used and unsanitized. That was my final straw. They used to have great customer service. But that's definitely a thing of the past. I'll happily take my business somewhere else from now on. read more

Made me wait a half hour for my appointment. My nails had no polish and they wanted to dremel them down anyway further causing damage. I asked for just a manual buffer kind of brushing and she refused. My nails were already this from all the dremel I explained but to no avail. Hand sanitizer provided and don't worry it's not the kind that dries your skin out. The team all wear masks and keep distance between groups when inside. Our group of two had a plastic divider put up between us and the group of three-- who were still separated from us by a chair. When the location is full just walk down to the first salon and see the other team! The team is working hard to give you a relaxing environment that is still safe and sanitary-- I work in housekeeping so I sometimes watch the cleaning methods after my pedicure and I watch them use proper cleaning techniques to clean between customers. When I got there had to wait to get started which happens, but now looking closely at my manicure, it's horrible... the cuticles are all raggedy looking and the edge of the first coat of polish is no where near the nail bed and it's very visible. I have only been here twice and the service is TOP! The first time I went to get a mani pedi before my trip to Mexico in May 2017, and I was blow away by the experience! I started talking to my peeps and many of them come here too, which makes me know they are good! I found this place on yelp and was looking for a spot, most would say it's in west seattle but it's Burien close to Roxbury. I got a massage on my shoulders, legs, back n it was for a long time too, I felt great. I ended up getting a my pedi and mani work by two different people! One thing I need to ask about is they did the paragon wrap on my hands the first time but now the second time, which was different! So I'm not sure f it's included or now! After getting there I was asked "do you want coffee", at first was like no but then I defiantly was happy I got it, is freshening it sets the mood and your just calm! Had a really lovely first time experience at this salon, after finally giving up on NK nails and their sloppyness. It's been about a year since I've had a mani/pedi, as I learned to do it my own due to Covid. Well, I'm done doing it on my own and decided to get back to the old routine of paying someone else to do it. I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp and read the reviews - everything was spot on. The people here are genuinly nice, and they don't rush you. Not once did I feel as if I was a nuissance (thats the NK way...) and it was actually relaxing - which is really hard for me to do. No. But here's the great service I received: Friendly, efficient staff that apologized for any wait time and took their time doing my nails. I never felt rushed. My nails look really good because she took the time to apply several coats and dried them under the UV light several times. Gel manicures ended with a hand wax dip which felt fantastic and usually is extra $ at other salons. Every patron is offered a huge glass of iced Vietnamese coffee, which I LOVE.
