I booked a couples' massage here for a birthday gift, selecting the 'Getaway Plus' option to have 110 extra minutes in the suite. After looking over all the photos, I selected the "Tent Suite." I liked the day bed, in addition to the big tub. The massage itself was relaxing - don't expect a deep tissue or anything. I asked for extra firm pressure before and during the massage, but we never really quite got there. No problem, though, because I was super relaxed and almost fell asleep. I packed charcuterie supplies and sparkling wine. I maybe overpacked on the utensils, because they really did have everything else there. My girlfriend and I did the couples getaway in the painters studio and it was fantastic. We did the 50 min massage and the 110 min suite hangout. The lobby area is clean and calming, the staff were very nice and we were shown to our suite right on time. They gave us a quick tour of our suite, which included a bathroom, double headed shower, large wooden tub, kitchenette, day bed, and salt sauna. The massage was great! I thought it was on par or better than many massages I've had before. The massage tables are heated as well. Once they left after the 50 minutes, we ate sushi and shared a drink in our robes which was a perfect date night. It's been awhile since I've written a yelp review but this place earned it! I have been here once in person and talked to them once on the phone and I'm not entirely sure what was worse. The first time was a few years ago when I was surprise treated to a spa day with a girlfriend. Upon entering, the space itself is cute enough, but is a bit dated, dusty, and full of furniture that you can probably never fully deep clean. I think it was the "Painting Suite"? Don't bring a black light... It smells like a mixture of cheap lavender oil and whatever varnish the wood is sloppily sealed with. The room had poor ventilation to the point where I wonder if it ever actually dries out in there. It seemed strangely... moist... My girlfriend was really excited to surprise me, so I was grateful for the experience but felt like I needed a shower somewhere else afterward to feel clean again. I'm glad she didn't opt for a massage package. Fast forward to this year- my dear sweet girl brought this place up again and asked if I was interested in a couples massage. Oof. I told her I would call and ask some questions so I would feel comfortable booking. I tried to find what I need online, but the website is chaotic and looks like it was made by a child who was too excited about italics in 1995. Nearly unreadable. I called and Valerie picked up the phone. I started by asking some basic pricing questions, where I could get information about the providers (do they have a website or things they specialize in?) , but was met with short hurried answers that made me feel like I was bothering her. She cut me off and started rattling off how to use the website to schedule etc. It's almost like I could feel her rolling her eyes over the phone. If the customer service person is unprofessional, it doesn't exactly instill trust in the rest of the business. I told her I had to go and would maybe call back later. I did not. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet due to the last experience I had here. I'm giving an extra star just for Starla (hehe) who I met when I visited, who was more than helpful and so so sweet. I wish it was her who picked up the phone. I think I also met the owner(?), an odd little bald guy, who seemed a bit too into wanting to show us his "erotic art", which eeked me out a little and we politely declined. We were given a gift certificate here with the promise of the most intimate and romantic couples massage we have ever had, and our friends were right. From the outside, you would never expect the inside to be so detailed in its decorations and luxurious amenities of the suites. We had two hours booked for our suite, which included an hour couples massage. Our masseuses were great, and mine worked really hard to provide the deep tissue therapeutic massage I prefer. Our suite had romantic lighting, tasteful erotic paintings, a toilet room, stone shower, copper stand alone bath with bubbles and salts, a day bed for lounging, a table and kitchen area with table settings and wine glasses/ fridge/ tea and hot water heater, and a tiny sauna! It was so much more than I was expecting. We loved the massages and enjoyed the sauna and bath after while nomming on wine and snacks we'd brought with us. They also have wine and snacks for purchase and a room service menu in case you don't want to bring your own. Wow just wow. I can't fully express the experience I had at this spa. We had the stone carver suite with an 80 min massage. Our massage therapist's hands were heaven on earth. The room had a salt sauna, xL bathtub, day bed, and shower. The room also had bath salts, body oil, and lavender spray if you choose to relax by yourself or get an extended massage from your partner. Little Red Day Spa is hands down the best place for a couple's massage. While it can be a little spendy, you can usually find a deal on Groupon, which makes it totally worth it. We got the "Art Room" and it was romantic to the core and worth every $. The room itself is massive with very high ceilings, a giant jacuzzi, a giant dining table with place settings, a canopy "resting" bed on the 2nd floor, and a steam room that didn't seem to work very well. Reservations were hard to come by and I had to make it 3 weeks in advance for a Sunday evening slot. Since we were the last reservation for the night, they allowed us to stay as long we liked, "even if it's until 2 AM". The massage itself was okay, I've had better. There's another place that I go to with heated massage tables and I would have liked that given the price point. However, the point of coming here is for the romance. This has to be the biggest disappointment of 2019! I am really sorry to say but this was a most odd experience. Uncomfortable situation for sure. After checking this place out online for at least six months we finally visited for our nine year anniversary. We being my husband and I. This place is not cheap, if you've ever checked out their website you'll know. It's actually very expensive to book a suite here. But we finally made the decision to purchase an almost 3 hour visit. Denise at the front desk was a very kind and gracious host! She made us feel welcomed from the start. When you enter the building there is complimentary wine and a mini gift shop. After you are check in there is a minimal wait before being escorted to your suite. We booked the Art Suite. Let's just say the Art is highly sexual but abnormal (for us.) The suite itself was nice and we loved the copper tub. However, we are a heterosexual married couple. The Art made us feel be very uncomfortable! Do not open the panels on the wall. Behind the naked adult man and young boy, there are very graphic and inappropriate paintings! Just gag worthy! For example, a deconstructed penis for one. Then secondly some kind of triple male orgy. I had to be specific so readers do not think I am exaggerating or worst, being homophobic! And then of course more naked men on other walls. It was a very uncomfortable vibe. Lastly, I got a massage alright! A very erotic massage that crossed the line a few times. When the masseuse finished I was oiled up like a turkey and feeling violated! My husband and I got married in July, and my mom and her boyfriend gifted us an evening in the Art Suite at Little Red Day Spa. It literally took us to the DAY it expired to use it (lol, whoops) but I'm SO glad we didn't let the opportunity slip through our fingers! The lobby itself leaves a lot to imagination. I had zero idea what we were in for with the dark lighting, eclectic art, and free wine and chocolates. The girl at the check in desk was super nice and personable and made conversation with us while we waited for the previous appointment to end. Once it was our turn to enter the Art Suite, I was SHOCKED. It is HUGE! There's literally a loft area, a giant jacuzzi tub, a walk in sauna... You name it! Even a little kitchenette with a dining area for you to enjoy food. PRO TIP - You're able to bring in ANY food and alcohol you want for your stay. Our gift certificate allowed us 2 hours in the Art Suite - one hour of couples massage followed by free use of the room. Since we were the last appointment of the night (10 pm) they literally just let you stay in the room for however long you want, and just shut the door behind you when you leave for the night. I wanted to say we stayed an extra hour or so. It's no extra charge to do this, so I highly recommend booking the last appointment of the night so you don't have to rush through the experience. The couples massage was phenomenal. Quite possibly the best massage I've ever had, actually. They asked what we liked/didn't like/areas they should avoid, and I told my LMT that I just wanted to relax. Nothing too intense, and didn't want to be in pain the next day. He listened, because it was amazing! After they left, we got to take advantage of the jacuzzi, sauna, and relax with a couple drinks before departing. Little Red Day Spa is owned by an artist and all of the art you see in here is his. Pretty cool. I guess it also doubles as a meeting spot for a few different clubs/communities on the weekends, but I don't know much about that (just heard through the grapevine). It was easy to find and blew us away from the second we walked inside. The receptionist has to be the kindest person we've met. She got us in early and let us stay as long as we liked because no one was scheduled after us. Our massage therapists were Apple and Joe. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. The lighting, the music, the art, the wine, the space... perfection. I would give this ten starts if I could. Words and pictures do it no justice. Overall, this was a nice experience if you're looking for a relaxing way to reconnect in your relationship. PROS: very romantic calm vibe, staff was very professional and helpful, our massages were nice, the room is huge for just the two of us, the open shower was awesome, sauna was a lovely touch, there are thoughtful touches put into a lot of aspects of this experience (lighting options, variety of spaces to use, staff gave tours so we would know how to use everything etc), we arrived a little early and they took us into our room, gave us a tour and then allowed us to hang out while we waited for our MTs which was nice, the cold water and tea was a nice touch. CONS: lots of fabric covered furniture that could definitely not be cleaned as well as it prob should be, the rugs need to be replaced ASAP (), the wood working is questionable in a lot of places, the upstairs bed area was sketchy (very rickety, creaked and shook with very little movement from us, to the point where we went up, looked around and went right back down), the "stored art" that maybe was supposed to add to the aesthetic made the space feel unfinished/like an attic, the art was just a little too much (I love bodies and sensuality, but this felt more like obsession over white womens' bodies and it felt gross), robes were only size S and size M, we did not get to use the bathtub because they said it takes 30mins to fill! So we wouldn't have enough time left for the other areas (I was super bummed cause this part seemed so lovely) Overall we enjoyed ourselves, despite the cons. It was a lovely kid free way to reconnect while celebrating our anniversary. Will we be back? Probably not, but would definitely like to find something similar that felt a little more clean, put together and up to date. 3 stars for the staff, time to reconnect, shower and sauna! read more

My friends got a Groupon for my partner and I to have a cute date here and I was pleasantly surprised. We got the tent suite (second smallest of all the 'suites') and that included a large copper bathtub, shower, bathroom, small twin size bed, sauna, dining room table, and a fridge. We're allowed to bring our own food and drinks to eat in the room after our massages and that's exactly what we did! You get a tea kettle, plates and silverware, and bottles of water to start. I would say the massages were not quite what I was expecting, but I didn't dislike it either. Felt a bit 'manhandled' but my body feels good now so it wasn't a 'bad' thing. I'd say that if you want a real shower to get rid of all the oil they use on you, you should bring your own shampoo/soap cause the stuff that they provide doesn't cut it. The other thing I would recommend bringing is slippers. I'm a bit shocked to find that they didn't have any disposable slippers here. It's definitely more comfortable to walk around in slippers than your shoes especially if you wanna use the amenities. The floor didn't feel nearly clean enough to walk barefoot comfortably. Overall I am very happy with my husband and I's experience at the Little Red Day Spa yesterday. We had reserved the Sky Suite but we were given a choice to upgrade to the Moroccan Suite at no charge, since it also happened to be available on our scheduled day and time. We appreciated the gesture and we decided to go with the Moroccan Suite. It isn't really our style of decor but we liked the thoughtful style touches, loved the dim lighting emanating from multiple well-placed lanterns, and got excited about the large coppery metal tub. We also watched the movie "Casablanca" when we dated prior to getting married, so the Moroccan flair of this particular suite reminded us of that time. The small lobby is lovely, with large comfortable chairs, tea, books, and romantic, slightly quirky decor. I briefly perused a Gustav Klimt book while waiting. Ashley checked us in, and she was warm and welcoming, with a big smile and a cheery vibe. As a graduate of the Port Townsend School of Massage, I know a thing or two about massage, and I thought my massage was very good. I was happy with the level of pressure, the variety and type of strokes, the attention to client preferences, and the quality of touch. I felt very relaxed during and after my massage. I thought the peppermint aromatherapy was very refreshing. They use grapeseed oil, a great emollient choice because it is natural and no one is likely to have allergies or negative reactions to it. My husband said he likes receiving my massages better, but he did enjoy his massage and it was a very nice feeling for both of us to be receiving relaxing massages at the same time. This was our first couples massage experience together, and I am happy with it. The carpet was filthy (or at least it looked filthy, it possibly had many dark stains on it that do not come out), but I'd brought 2 pairs of disposable spa slippers with us (just in case) so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Some people don't care about cleanliness of floors at all but we do, so if you're more like us, you may want to invest the $4 or $5 in a couple pairs of disposable spa slippers to bring with you. If anyone at the spa reads these reviews, I suggest a carpet clean or a carpet replacement. I also suggest considering investing in disposable spa slippers and making them available for clients for their time in the suite. I think it'd be a nice touch. The carpet issue isn't worth taking a full star off of my review. Other than the carpet, I consider this to have been a 5-star experience. Both my husband and I easily get distracted from connecting/reconnecting with each other when we're at home (due to so many things to do in the house and in the yard), and we don't have the time or the budget for a vacation this year, so we've recently been exploring small ways to feel like we're on vacation while staying local and taking only 1 - 3 hours out of our day. This spa experience was perfect to put a little bit of a vacation feeling into the middle of our week. We felt refreshed, relaxed, and reconnected during our time there. The Spa offers 4 membership levels at excellent discounts for regulars: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. We are considering the Silver membership level. We'd booked the 2-hour time bracket for our experience yesterday and we'd book the 3-hour time bracket next time. We feel that 3 hours would be a better amount of time for us to spend in this lovely environment. One last note: there are stairs in this spa. A LOT of stairs. I think we climbed three (3) steep flights of stairs to get to our top-floor suite. My bff from high school is a former United States Marine, tough as nails and crazy fit, and I went to meet her 3 days ago for what I thought would be a leisurely stroll along the beach. Yeah. It wasn't. Blisters are all over the soles of my feet and my inner thighs are red and raw from chafing. As a result, I took these spa stairs slowly. The stairs would not hinder me from returning. However, if stairs are not relaxing for you or if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. read more

We went for the couples massage class, and it was great! We had requested the tent room, and were just checking in when the owner, Jeff, emerged with a big smile. He had something he was excited to show us about the room. So, we trailed behind him, past a cooler full of wine and other beverages, and snacks for purchase (The wine was definitely reasonably priced). When we arrived at the door to the tent room, there was a large beautiful handmade wooden tub (From the 'before' pictures, it appears to have replaced a brass tub). They had just installed it, and we would the first to try it out. It was fantastic too. There's something about sitting on a wooden surface (even if it's polyurethaned), that feels 'warmer' and softer, both on body and soul. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm sure the brass tub was nice, but I'm glad we got the opportunity with the wooden one. Ann Marie was our instructor for the class, and gave an excellent tutorial, from actual massage techniques, to body mechanics, and supplies. She was able to answer all our questions, and was comfortable, and encouraging in her instruction. The place is full of fantastic art, and has a deep sense of charm, warmth, comfort, and inviting. And while the prices feel a bit steep, they're honoring Groupon pricing right now, without even having the groupon. Oh boy, where to start with this review...my husband brought me for my birthday, around 10 pm. It's a nice little place, and I thought we were just going to have a small room with a Jacuzzi...but we got the artists studio, which is a multilevel, crazy spa. It's got a salt/sauna room, your own bathroom, a Jacuzzi and an ancient, antique Chinese bed for...you know...reconnecting. but that's if you're brave enough to go up the stairs. I enjoyed the body scrub and mud, but it left our skin kinda dry. Over all, I enjoyed the intimacy and privacy, but have to wonder how clean it is between couples...I'd recommend it to anyone looking to spend some romantic time in a brand new experience. read more

We spent 3 hours in the art suite which included a 1 hour couples massage. They had a little kitchen area with a sink & mini fridge, a couch, fireplace, shower, bath tub & sauna. Upstairs their is a day bed and some art work you can look through. Definitely a spicer-upper and a unique idea for a date night; Something different than the ordinary. They had towels available in the room and they also have wine and bath bombs for sale in the lobby. Would love to come back and check out some of the other rooms. Staff was friendly read more

So my hubby got this couples massage/spa package on Groupon for like half the original price which was awesome! kudos to the hubs! It was great, environment was very romantic and sexy. If you are looking to just have some one on one, very private, time with your significant other, and love massages/spas, this is the place. Our room came with a tub, shower, sauna, dining table area (you can bring your own food, drinks, etc) little refrigerator, lounging day bed. Our couples massage was 80min long, very quiet, serene, private, when they were done with massages the therapists let you know they were leaving and you are uninterrupted for the rest of your scheduled time.
