This has been my go-to nail salon for nearly 3 years. The staff is always so nice and friendly. And do a great job. The facility is large, clean, well lit. They're always happy to offer you a soft drink or water. Their higher end manicure packages include an amazing shoulder massage. I also appreciate that they're not constantly trying to pressure you into an upgrade, or additional service. Recently I tried a new nail salon in Katy because it happened to be right next-door to where I was shopping. I had a dip manicure that looked like a student had done it. The difference in the dip manicure I received at DaVinci yesterday is amazing. Definitely a reminder of why I continue to come back here all the time. read more

I want to first say that I've been coming here for years and it's one of my favorite salons. I was in last week and one of the technicians accidentally sliced my foot open while filing my heels. Despite me insisting that I was in pain, everyone kept saying I was alright. I imagine this was done to keep the rest of the customers happy because it definitely wasn't done for my sake. The pedicure was comped but I still had to pay, what was it? $18 for the polish? But okay. I was in an incredible amount of pain for the next few days. On day 3 post slice, I noticed cuts on the inside of my little toes. I had been worried about what kind of bacteria I would have picked up from the salon. So imagine how I felt when my doctor informed me that it was a form of athlete's foot. Never in my life have I contracted athlete's foot. My doctor said it was probably from the salon. And now I am pretty upset because I enjoyed this salon but my foot gets sliced open and I catch a fungus? I'm good. read more

Another Awful experience!!!! First time I tried this place last summer, have done my pedicure. All nails were different shape, cuticles everywhere and shellac chipped in a couple days. I was debating on posting anything until now since it really was completely unprofessional. I came to get my feet done and my nail lady made a comment to the coworker next to her and both began laughing and gossiping. I've been working a lot and haven't been able to get my feet done. Definitely made me feel completely embarrassed around my friends and strangers. I just can't believe how unprofessional this place is. They took the time but quality and attention to detail was lacking. There is stray nail polish all over my hands which they charged $45 for the manicure. I don't think they are good at French tips. The thickness of the French tips is inconsistent finger to finger. I paid extra for the massage add on b it never got it- I think they ran out of time and were rushing. Only two coats of paint on the toes and I can see my nail through the color. Won't be coming back unfortunately. read more

DaVinci ladies are truly sweet. I felt the therapeutic vibe once I walked in the place. There's was a young lady who greet me and assisted me with all the wonderful choices I got to choose from. Of course, I choose the detox pedicures. It was on the pricey side but it was totally worth it. Once I was settled in, I was amazed of the aroma, beautiful flower peddles and wine with the spa was plus. The girls around were genuine, asked if I wanted anything to drink, if I was comfortable and thoroughly explained what the service came with. Right away I noticed that the DaVinci staff are very sweet and accommodating. While I got my sweet lavender pedicure ($57) a receptionist offered me a drink and they give wide variety of nail polish colors to choose from a wheel which is very convenient. New equipment was used for each client and the tub was lined with plastic between each customer! I also got my lash extensions done by Angela and I am really happy with the results. Before starting my lashes we talked about what look I wanted and she explained what length she'd use etc. For the actual service, because it is a lengthy one, a blanket is provided as well as a pillow for under my knees to provide comfort while I got the extensions done. Relaxing music is played throughout the salon so it really adds to relaxing aura. read more

I would like to say everyone here is truly very nice and the manager is active throughout the salon, but the technicians (some, not all) lack skills for the price paid. I have tried this place multiple time and have left every time with some flaw, but this time was too much. My left hand is pointy and long, and my right hand is oval and short. My thumb nail is crooked once again. And it is reasonable to ask why keep coming back? I just wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have now decided to go to another salon. The nail techs there are nice and friendly, I've been there 6 times but unfortunately my full set nails always come out different shape... I show the nail tech a picture of what I want and the shape of the nail and nope the nails never comes out how I want it. My nails never get trimmed underneath where it ends up being thick and they don't clean it up nicely at the end. I've given this place chances but unfortunately I'm not going there anymore. read more

Love everything about this place!! The ladies are wonderful and I'm always greeted with kind words and smiles. The salon is beautiful and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. It is kept clean and doesn't have a strong odor like some other nail salon do. They have more polish color options than I've ever seen which is awesome. The pedicure chairs are comfortable and spacious. I've never had any issues and have been going there for a few years now. I go every 2 weeks for some "me time" and get a refill and pedicure. I love coming here to get my Mani and Pedi. The atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful which is what you need when you want to relax. I'm always greeted with a smile and when I am seated they'll ask if I would want anything to drink which is nice. Everyone is so professional here and I appreciate that a lot. My experience here has always been great. I didn't catch the lady with the pixie hair cut name was, but she does an amazing job on my Pedi. She takes her time and always asking if I'm ok. You can tell she loves her job. They are also really creative with the Mani here. If you ask them to recreate a nail art from an image online they are definitely spot on at it. From the greeting, service and pricing nothing was great about the place. We weren't offered any thing to drink. My nail technician rushed through my manicure, she was hard on my nails, and did not pay attention to detail. I got the dip manicure and it came out super rough and bumpy. She went to get the hot towel to finish the service I had to tell her the issues as she didn't even care enough to look at her work. When she finished fixing the nails she didn't even bother to walk and get a fresh hot towel. She used the cold towel that was sitting there. Just no care into the work she was doing what so ever. I wanted to love this place, I really wanted to. The space was beautiful and clean, and everyone working there was incredibly nice. They were very good about sanitizing things, and the atmosphere was very soothing, especially with the massage chairs. Unfortunately, the pedicure itself was just OK. They cut my nails kind of crooked, and the polish they used was kind of cheap. Just two days later, the pedicure is starting to chip. Also, they have no nail dryer for pedicures! After my pedicure, the girl who did it told me to go sit on a couch. I asked where the dryer was, and she just repeated herself and said I could wait for it to dry while sitting in the chair. It wasn't the worst pedicure I've had, but I wouldn't go back. read more

This is actually my 2nd time here. I wrote my initial review at their other location off Fry Rd. So today, I didn't have an appointment or anything... Just a random walk-in and they were able to attend to me immediately. It was just my luck because they are having their annual anniversary special on pedicures so I end end up getting a good deal for a Luxe Jello pedi along with my manicure. Cathy did my pedi while Tham did my mani. I was pleased with both services today. Only reason why this isn't a 5 star review is because I noticed that I have air bubbles in my mani. Not too sure what causes this, but perhaps it's something that could have been avoided during the manicure process? I don't usually see bubbles in my nails when I go to a salon...
