So the hot mozzarella sticks are finally back--and yeah, they're exactly what I was waiting for. Super gooey, stuffed with cheese, and honestly messy in the best way. No complaints there. I also tried the buffalo chicken bites with slaw. The flavor is solid--good buffalo heat without going overboard--but the bites themselves felt a little inconsistent in size and crispiness. Some were perfect, others a bit soft like they sat for a minute too long. The slaw helped balance everything out though. The place itself is very modern and loud on purpose--graffiti-style walls, music blasting, more of a "hangout and vibe" spot than somewhere you're trying to have a quiet meal. Not bad, just depends on your mood. Pickup was smooth--my order was ready when I got there, and the staff were actually nice and helpful, not the rushed/checked-out vibe you sometimes get at busy spots. Only real critique: the music was a bit too loud for a pickup situation. I get the atmosphere they're going for, but it's borderline overwhelming if you're just grabbing food and leaving. Overall though, I'd come back. The mozzarella sticks alone are doing a lot of heavy lifting here. read more

Just happened to stop in on a random Friday afternoon, and I was so glad that I did. The chicken and fries were absolutely delicious...both were crispy and well seasoned. The fruity pebbles shake was good too. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rest rooms were clean, and there was free parking. Definitely a win! I'll be back. read more

There's a Spicy Dave's (as we have nicknamed the place for no real reason at all) at the Hunt Valley shopping center!! After our trip to Valley View to get our annual overly expensive xmas ornament, we were hungry. We first tried a local pizza shop who rudely insisted that we could not use the table in their un-dining room, and when I mentioned that there was a DHC nearby Jeremy lit up. He LOVES Dave's Hot Chicken. The dining room was packed when we arrived, but was basically empty when we left. The restaurant is super clean, almost industrial. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious, as always. It was our friend Justin's first time at Spicy Dave's and he was incredibly pleased that we introduced him to it. I got my usual: the #4. Spiciness level somewhere in the middle. I think it's funny that they refer to their sandwich as a slider, when it's a very large sandwich. Delicious and filling. And the fries are magical. They're crinkle cut and seasoned, crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle. And don't slouch on the Dave's Sauce. I put that stuff on everything, even at home. I'm pleased to see this chain popping up everywhere. We need one in Dundalk. read more

When I tell you this is the best chicken sandwich I ever had ... I mean that.. crunchy flavorful the bread was soft and complimented the chicken , the sauce is 7.5 out of ten though.. but the sandwich is 11/10 the fries are also amazing I prefer curly/crinkley fries.. they had nice amount of seasoning and it wasn't salt and pepper, definitely 10/10 Can't wait to go back read more

If you are looking for Nashville hot chicken then this is a solid option for the area. While some might find a limited menu restrictive I think this is more of an example focus, and trying to do a few things well. We got chicken nuggets call Dave bites, a slushie, and a 2 "slider" combo to share between myself, wife and young son. I put slider in quotes, because the sandwiches were large enough for a single person. The one thing that was confusing were the item names and combo menu. For example, they have a combo with a single chicken tender and fries (no drink). I think in most places that would be an odd order. But, if you can reassure yourself that a single tender or slider might be more than the name implies I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

​I was at the Hunt Valley location and I'm already craving more. I had the slider and the Top-Loaded Fries, and both were cooked perfectly. ​The real game-changer was putting the kale slaw right on top of the fries. The mix of the hot fries and cheese with that cold, tangy crunch is incredible. The chicken in the slider was juicy and had the perfect amount of heat. ​My only complaint? I decided to stop at Dave's Hot Chicken last night after leaving Giant. The road was closed off due to a water main break so there was not a lot of traffic. When I arrived at the store no one was in there. There were no orders on the board. In other words it was extremely slow. I ordered 1 slider w/ fries. No pickle and I asked to have my fries extra crispy. He repeated my order and I paid. I waited about 7-10 mins and was out the door to eat it at home. No more than 7 mins. I put my groceries away. Then I sat down to eat. This is where we go down hill. The fries were not crispy as I asked. More like heat lamp warm on top and slightly colder on the bottom. If they were fresh, they would've been still hot and Crispy!! The sandwich also was not hot. It was warm at best. Makes me wonder why was I waiting the 7-10 min. This store just opened this summer. Not a good look if you can't handle a simple request and an extremely slow night. read more

I ordered the lowest spice chicken sandwich, my partner ordered a spicy sandwich and my daughter 'no spice" chicken strip. The amount of paprika on my chicken was outrageous and I felt like I was inhaling paprika with every bite. The no spice chicken strip was tasteless. The spicy sandwich , for a person who likes spices, what almost inedible and made my partner sick the following day. STEER CLEAR. All this misery was over $50 to boot. read more

As someone who doesn't like spicy food- it's super yummy. The mild flavor is perfect for people who don't have much spice tolerance. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the staff served amazing customer service. We were welcomed the second we walked in, and our food was made quickly. Would definitely recommend. read more
