This is such a wonderful and welcoming establishment! We were greeted as we walked in the door, and we observed the same for all other customers who walked in as we dined. Our server, Katie, was phenomenal and so accommodating as we dined with our small dog (love their dog friendly patio). The food was perfect, and I loved every sauce I tried, my all-time favorite sauce being the Smoky Mountain sauce. Was also very excited to see that Cheerwine soda was offered too! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and sides (we opted for the sliced brisket plate with green beans and mac n cheese sides along with a pulled pork sandwich). NOT BBQ but rather roasted meats with a little smoke added. This, in and of itself, is not a bad thing as roasted meat with BBQ slathered on it isn't all bad, assuming it is cooked well. However, Jay's is a thief of an establishment as I ordered a pound of pulled pork and when I got home it weighed 10 ounces (INCLUDING THE CONTAINER). I called to complain but got a voicemail. It will be interesting to see if I get a call back. An establishment that rips its customers off AND serves fake BBQ. Never again....Do Not Frequent This RIP Off Joint.

Husband ordered 6 old bay wings. He only got 5 and they were all drums. He didn't bother complaining because he said he wouldn't be able to eat 6 anyway. Only had a little old bay on them, but they were nice and crunchy. All in all, I was excited to try The Grain Table, but can say my first impression is that I'm not a fan. Don't see a need to return for the food, that's for sure. Would think that with an entire menu overhaul and social media rollout to get people to come in, the food would meet expectations. Seating area is plentiful and clean and there were numerous customers enjoying their lunch. I had the Pollo Saltado. Flavorful charcoal rotisserie chicken, French fries, rice, red and green onion, sauce! A great combination.
