A great addition to Hagerstown. The food is very good, great rice - cooked just right and seasoned nicely. It is carry out only, but packaged well and very good. The bowls and the falafel are great.

My first visit to this new restaurant. Service was very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions and explaining menu items I was not familiar with. This menu focuses on traditional Turkish foods that were well done, and very flavorful! I got the Koobideh Kebab which was a Single skewer of char-grilled ground beef served with rice, sumac onions, pickles with cacik and green sauce that could be adjusted for spiciness. They offered a wide range of toppings. I just asked the server for her recommendations and she made some great suggestions! The rice was very well done, not dry. The kebab was flavorful and cooked just right. The portion was generous. One plus was that they used composite containers that can be used to reheat leftovers in the microwave. Overall I can highly recommend this restaurant. Seating is limited as they are really more at up for takeout.

Saw the good reviews so thought it was worth a try. Let me TELL you how great this joint was. The restaurant is in your typical American strip mall and has enough seating for 10 people comfortably. The woman who took our order was very friendly and had a kind and upbeat personality. We had the eggplant, falafel wrap, and lamb kebabs All were delicious but the falafel was out of this world. Crispy, flavorful, and the texture was moist and crumbly. Go check this place out because it slaps.

No frills interior but over the top delicious food

Looks can be deceiving! This little restaurant is a hidden gem! Always Delicious! Always fast. Always friendly. A must-try!

The service was excellent. I don't think that it was super busy at the time so the owners were in the front area ready to greet us. They were friendly and were able to explain the toppings that they offer, and help my girlfriend pick what she thinks she would like. (She is not very familiar with Mediterranean food) As for the food. Both me and my girlfriend ordered pita wraps. She ordered the falafel wrap, and I ordered the lamb wrap. The falafel was pretty good, she also got a pomegranate sauce on it that was absolutely delicious. The lamb was tasty, and a good price, but it was a little chewy for my taste. I will likely order something else next time. The greens, turkish salad, pickles, and sumac onions had a very nice flavor and texture. There was a sauce that I thought was tzatziki, but it is actually cacik which was really good. The pickles were excellent as far as pickles go. As far as atmosphere goes, it's a small shop, and it's clean. Their menus are well designed. They actually have an area to sit and eat unlike the previous two restaurants that were in that location. Overall I can recommend the falafel, the pomegranate sauce, the cacik, and pretty much any of their toppings. By the way they let you pick and choose which ones you want. My girlfriend isn't a fan of slivered onions so she didn't get the sumac onions on hers. The price was really good for Mediterranean food. I usually would spend at least $50 on Mediterranean food for two. This only came to $25 I think they really should get more business. If you're thinking about it, give them a try!

    Shish Kebab chicken tasty.

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was made fresh while we waited. Food was flavorful and at a great temperature. Definitely enjoying this meal after a 4 hour drive from WV. Will definitely stop again.

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

It's a small mart that specializes in middle eastern Mediterranean cuisine and ingredients. They place does not have seating inside, but plenty of seating outside. So plan on either take out or picnicking. They make the food right as you order so things are fresh. The part I really liked about this place was that the sauces were not overly salted - to increase shelf life - and the amount of oil/butter was not overly used to try to mask the ingredients. It's more on the "let the ingredients speak for itself" which I really dig. In the end, you don't feel heavy after the meal and you feel like you had a hearty and healthy meal. My favorite was the lamb shawarma. He toasts the outside pita and it gives it a nice crunch. The lamb is fresher than other places and he doesn't over season it to hide the lamb smell. Other places - if you notice - tends to use cumin a lot of mask the lamb smell. Not here though. The falafel sandwich was okay. It was colder than the lamb shawarma. But the falafels were made right there in front of you. I got the sujuk sandwich too (which is a type of sausage). It was a breakfast burrito basically. Our order took 20 mins to make and he makes it right when you order. So be prepared to stay there and peruse around. Some ingredients there were interesting. The one thing that caught my eye was a bottle of pomegranate molasses. He sells it close to 50% what Harris Teeter would charge and he has various brands of pomegranate molasses. I use pomegranate molasses to make grenadine for cocktails. Also has orange blossom and rose water (also both used for cocktails) I like this place and the guy is nice and sweet.

Whats more sad is that I paid $15 for something that isn't at all as advertised. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Greek Salad as I love grilled meat. Never have I had souvlaki in over a dozen voyages to Greece that was wet boiled or microwaved, as this chicken seemed to be. Souvlaki are grilled skewers. This place should NOT sell the pile of bland, blond, wet chicken breast as "souvlaki." The "Greek" salad was sad. No other way to describe it. It had the ingredients of a Greek salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber) but the feta was meager and there were no onions. The tzatziki was more akin to ranch dressing (not made with yogurt- real Greek yogurt would hold a spoon standing in it. This was almost liquid.) ) and the pita was a doughy, cheap substitute. Their listing says fresh bread, and this pita was not so much. The owner seems nice and personable, and I wish him well but I also wish he would pay more attention to the product he delivers, especially if they call it, Greek. UPDATE from owners rebuttal: I write fair reviews as I experience the food. The issue is not whether you have fresh ingredients or quality chicken: it is clearly stated what you served was just not souvlaki in anyway, it was wet sautéed chicken and that was not traditional tzatziki. It was tzatziki-like sauce. Period. If you go to a pizza place to buy a pizza and you get high quality toasted bread with excellent tomato sauce and good mozzarella- it's still not a pizza, no matter the quality, and you shouldn't call it a pizza. I don't deny you are Greek, proud or otherwise, just serve what you advertise. Good luck to you too!
