    Chicken - bowl

A great addition to Hagerstown. The food is very good, great rice - cooked just right and seasoned nicely. It is carry out only, but packaged well and very good. The bowls and the falafel are great.

My first visit to this new restaurant. Service was very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions and explaining menu items I was not familiar with. This menu focuses on traditional Turkish foods that were well done, and very flavorful! I got the Koobideh Kebab which was a Single skewer of char-grilled ground beef served with rice, sumac onions, pickles with cacik and green sauce that could be adjusted for spiciness. They offered a wide range of toppings. I just asked the server for her recommendations and she made some great suggestions! The rice was very well done, not dry. The kebab was flavorful and cooked just right. The portion was generous. One plus was that they used composite containers that can be used to reheat leftovers in the microwave. Overall I can highly recommend this restaurant. Seating is limited as they are really more at up for takeout.

Saw the good reviews so thought it was worth a try. Let me TELL you how great this joint was. The restaurant is in your typical American strip mall and has enough seating for 10 people comfortably. The woman who took our order was very friendly and had a kind and upbeat personality. We had the eggplant, falafel wrap, and lamb kebabs All were delicious but the falafel was out of this world. Crispy, flavorful, and the texture was moist and crumbly. Go check this place out because it slaps.

No frills interior but over the top delicious food

Looks can be deceiving! This little restaurant is a hidden gem! Always Delicious! Always fast. Always friendly. A must-try!

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was made fresh while we waited. Food was flavorful and at a great temperature. Definitely enjoying this meal after a 4 hour drive from WV. Will definitely stop again.

One of the best falafel I've ever had. You have to try it. Fresh food and fair prices. If you are in Hagerstown and like Mediterranean food, make sure you give this place a try.

He was even happy to speak in Russian to them the whole time. Their ambience and service is wonderful. Food choices are very authentic and full of flavor. To my luck, we had great Uzbek food less than 15 mins away! It was a while ago but we ordered the samsa, manti, kutabi, plov, and chohohbli, and I can't recall what else but we loved it! Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.

Got a combo of chicken kabob and shami kabob along with a side of their borani banjan/eggplant dish. The eggplant was honestly one of my favorite things- it's a must get in my opinion. Homey dish with incredible flavors! Their naan is fresh and pairs well with it. The chicken was good, but I've had better honestly. The shami was a little disappointing as I expected more flavor and it was slightly dry, but good. Their rice was so tasty and I loved the sweetness coming from the carrots an raisins. Of course, the sheeryakh was great- quite a big portion for one person, but I loved the texture. It tastes very similar to the Indian/South Asian/Pakistani ice cream, "Kulfi." CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Service needs improvement. The whole time I was there I had to keep looking for waiters to make eye contact with to ask for menu, water, paying, etc. It took about 10 min or more for me to have to call a busy waiter over just to look at the menu- no one came over on their own. Things just took time for a Saturday night- plus they were hosting an event on top of this. Needless to say, I've never had service like this, but the vibe and food made me be not as harsh. Despite the service, this place is a must try for authentic Afghan cuisine. Can't wait to try more of their menu (and the borani banjan again) in the future!

Other options right now are Krazi Burrito, Krazi Chick, and Krazi Kebob. There's also a new Boba place too. It looks like there used to be a coffee shop and a salad place, or something like that, so just be aware that the kitchen space may change up. We ordered 2 Kati Rolls (paneer and lamb kofta) from Krazi Kebob. We did Chappli Kabob, a Kabob Roll, and the Lamb Chop platter from The Kabob Joint. And we did the Thai tea and Chai tea from the boba shop. For the Kabob Joint: The Kabob roll was a real winner and the Chappli Kabob in the spicy green sauce was super. I wish the edges would have been a little crispier, but very good. We haven't had the Lamb Chop yet but there's a ton of food in their platters. For the Krazi Kabob, the paneer roll wasn't super spicy but was very tasty and I'd definitely get it again. The lamb was good too but I preferred the paneer. Highly recommend ordering in advance or with delivery; there isn't anywhere to sit and eat of course, and everything is made to order, so expect about a 20 minute wait if you walk in and order from the kiosk inside. Overall, great food and a cool business model for the area. In addition to the above, I'd probably get the Masala Fries next time and would consider the samosa chaat as a deconstructed samosa bowl.
