Every single thing that I have ever bought from this place is absolutely freaking delicious. The food is absolutely amazing and taste so fresh. Alekos is not shy on portions. Besides the absolutely delicious food the people the workers in there are so so so nice and so awesome. The other night I ordered online and on the way to go pick up my order I got caught in traffic. By the time I got there it was after 9:00 they were closed but they waited until I got there to make my fries to make sure they were fresh. THE BUFFALO WINGS, when I tell you they're the best. Good lord. They are crispy, perfectly saucy, MEATY. They're perfection. Easily my top 5 wings I've ever consumed. They're breaded, a traditional thicccc buffalo sauce, and they've got good ranch and bleu cheese to pair. My bf ALWAYS goes for the Italian sub. The chicken tenders were the only item that I would reorder. The Funnel cake fries were basic but at almost $5.00 I expected more than TWELVE fries!! Huge disappointment and rip-off!! My Steak n cheese was made of chunks of tough fatty steak and not shaved steak as most of the cheesesteak places make. And no.... not a steak-um!! Shaved ribeye is what should be used to make a good cheesesteaks!! It was hard to eat because it was so fatty and tough! Never again!! Stick with their gyros and call it a day! I love that they have free delivery. Their food is also so good. They are my go to place to order when I'm too lazy to cook but also to lazy to physically go anywhere to get food. Their delivery times are also pretty quick. I find I usually wait a while if I physically go to the drive thru and order but if I order delivery it's usually about the same time. My favorite things to order are the lamb gyro wrap and the beef souvlaki wrap. I recently tried the chicken gyro wrap which was also so good and will now be a new staple. I ordered a grilled Reuben sandwich and a large soft drink. The wait time wasn't long, especially considering the type of sandwich I ordered. It was actually a shorter wait time after ordering than a week ago when I waited 13 minutes at a McDonald's with only one customer in front of me. The people who took my order and delivered my food were friendly and personable. I'm not used to that at a drive up window. My sandwich came with chips and a pickle. Didn't go exactly as planned, but that is okay. Only three cars in line and I had to wait a bit for my food. Asked for light ice and got a cup totally full of ice. Thought I would get plastic silverware for my Greek fries, but didn't. Also the birthday cake shake had mint which was very weird. And with the Greek fries and gyro it was a fairly messy meal but only three small napkins were provided. Don't think I would get Greek fries again because they are pretty expensive for what you get. I'll give the hummus and pita bread a try next time. With all that said, the food was amazing. The gyro has very generous portions of meat and was definitely worth the money. The birthday milkshake, despite having mint, was also amazing. The Greek fries were natural cut which is my favorite and had fantastic flavor. The service was a tad bit slow but very friendly. I guess our mistake was to order a Fish Filet and Crab Cake platter at a place known for Greek cuisine. I got the fish with fries, coleslaw and garlic toast. The fish was close to flavorless but the tartar sauce was delicious and may have been homemade. The fries were just okay but the coleslaw was a bit lack luster. The toast pieces seemed rushed with minimal flavor. My wife's crab cakes were dry and a little over cooked on the bottom, but the flavor wasn't bad. I don't understand why other places that sell gyros not have a gyro sub on their menu. It's the perfect meat combo for making a sandwich and the sandwich wizards at Alekos put it to good use. All the sandwiches that I have tried on your menu has been awesome. However, If you're one of those rabbit food people who like to eat salads all the time, then you're going to love Alekos Greek salad. It's quite frankly the first truly filling salad I've ever eaten, of course I got mine with chicken but it's still filling.
