We eat here often...why? High quality food and service...attention to detail...not a better crab cakes here to the eastern shore...summers are amazing with outside dinning and great bands. Come...eat well...enjoy the atmosphere and music and servers and friends...sneak in a dance if you want...you'll not find a better place! Casual Classy!!! Tim and Karen Lester will see you there!

This place is very popular and I can see why. The service is good and so is the food. The place has a rustic feel to it. They were able to accommodate our large party of over 20 people. If you go when a foot ball game is on you can watch it from your table while eating lunch / dinner. I had the fried shrimp basket with fries which was yummy. My wife ordered the salmon which was also tasty.

The food was delicious. We went around 8:15pm and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive the entire time. They encouraged us to take our time when ordering. We got the muscles as an appetizer they were in a wonderful white wine garlic sauce. I got the linguine Miranda which was wonderful and had a bit of a kick but everything was well prepared. The portions were great I took half my food home. I also got a hibiscus bourbon drink. I didn't love that but the rest was great.

Even though we live in the area this is one of our favorite restaurants. They change out some of their menu options for the different seasons and it never disappoints! Everything is delicious and the service is always wonderful. In the summer they are one of the few areas with outdoor dining too! Check them out!

Sat outside - beautiful night . The service was superb. Everyone we encountered was very nice and friendly. My chicken club was outstanding- the avo aioli was spot on, chicken very tender. The fries - superb!!!! I also had a few rum runners that were spot on. Ambiance - great weather, great music!!! My husband had an on point burger. Runny egg, great burger with avo and very crisp bacon. The house chips were very crispy and tasty. On tap beer really great! Our server Kayla was very attentive and friendly! We will be back!

Hours day "open now" .. and it is not. Really hungry. Checked Yelp. Driven to 3 restaurants so far. This looked good I'm sorry it is not open. Check hours please.

After a day of fighting crowds at Whitetail with our family, we wanted real food. It was midday and even the lines at the food court on the mountain were ridiculous so we searched for good pub food along the way back to Frederick. This place exceeded our expectation's. I had called to verify they had room for the six of us, and they reserved a table for us (that was a nice touch). I didn't get our waitresses name but she was attentive without being pushy from start to finish. Our drinks were never empty and her check in timing was perfect. We all ordered burger variations, so I can't speak to the rest of the menu but I had the Foster Burger, which had bacon, avocado and a sunny side up egg on the patty. Too messy to eat without a knife and fork, but super yummy! All of the adults had the house-made potato chips and there were no scraps left on any plates! The kids had chicken tenders and grilled cheese. I sampled the French fries and they had a salt and herb crust, so yummy! There were a few other tables being served, but although the walls were exposed, lovely stone, the sound was not overwhelming. I didn't get to see the bill, but the prices looked reasonable, under $20 per person. I'd love to come back to try some of the entrees.

Coated FRIES BLAH

Nothing states the FRIES are COATED.. as they are a $2 up charge over the potato chips ( stated as shore fries) which I was thinking Atlantic City. Basically wasted money on something we didn't eat. Husband said burger was nothing special. I had the crab cake sandwich. Really doesn't need bread. Had with tarter & lemon. For $20 I thought it was great.

One of the best burgers around; The On Point burger. Great cocktails and once the weather allows, the outside sitting area is great

Are there gluten free options?

Hi! There aren't items specifically labeled gluten free aside from a beer on tap :) However many items would be gluten free and modifications on other items could be made to accommodate your request. Very hospitable place and they will be happy to…

The Brick Tavern - The Champ Burger

The Brick Tavern

We found this gem on Yelp during our trek back to Michigan from DC - conveniently located right off…read morethe highway, we were pleased to see they were open on Memorial Day. The General Manager greeted us upon arrival and we were seated immediately. A few minutes into our arrival we were greeted with an appetizer compliments of the manager and chef. We had a sampler of their best sellers - Brussel sprouts with sweet chili, handmade onion rings, elote corn with their house made Brick sauce (so delicious) and then a side of their house made honey mustard (probably the best honey mustard I've ever had - and I am a huge foodie)! This newly opened restaurant deserves more praise and more reviews (highly recommend adding a QR code for reviews to the menu or receipts). 7 reviews on Yelp doesn't do this place justice. Our server Neveah was fantastic - so sweet and knowledge about the menu and seasonal specials. The She Crab soup is the best I've ever had. Granted, I'm from Michigan so "when on the East coast" I had to try it. The chef says this is house made, along with 80% of the menu. The NY Strip salad was full, fresh and flavorful with house-made dressings. The Double Smash Burger was juicy & cooked to perfection - the Brick Sauce on top made it the most delicious burger, the kids meals were insanely delicious and don't sleep on the Mac & Cheese - delicious! Now for the best part - the Donut Bread Pudding. I read a review stating their donuts are from a famous local bakery, and that's what they make this with. It's special, you are in for a treat. We can't wait to make another trip to this adorable town - Hagerstown, MD just to eat here again. The service and food is top notch!

The restaurant was basically empty when we visited around 5 on a Tuesday. The "hostess" did not so…read moremuch greet us but acted annoyed that we were there. She asked if we had reservations and reluctantly seated us. Our server had about as much enthusiasm as the hostess. We received our cocktails. My vodka martini was fine but husband asked for a blackberry mojito and there was no balance very tart and he would not order again. The only good thing we received was the French Onion Soup. It was a little salty but very beefy broth which we both liked. Husband had the prime rib which was good. On special Tuesdays for $25. I had the ribeye and it was flavorless. I would not order again. We were traveling and the location was not convenient so we wouldn't be back. The building and atmosphere is nice. The gentleman who brought our food was also very nice.
