Cold food, awful customer service! The wait time was considerably longer due to the fact it was a busy Friday night. As far as ambiance there was three bigger families in the restaurant all of their kids were running around and kept running into me and other customers while I standing as well as when I was sitting and waiting for my food. No workers were on the floor to stop or notify the parents that they were becoming a problem for other customers as per usual. I waited about 20-25 minutes for my two plates of food. I normally get pretty good size tenders but now they have shrank to such a small size my bun is bigger than the actual tender as well as the tenders were hard and cold in each plate when I went to go check them before proceeding to drive home. Not only was I cut in line to pick up my food by a Doordasher/Uber Eats Driver, I was even cut in line by another customer and the EXPO on shift did not even say I was in line first or didnt say anything, so my immediate response is to just let it be, but when I asked for two packets of sauce the EXPO hollered at me that I am gonna have to get charged for them. I didnt get slaw or sauce on my sandwiches because I travel far for this location because its rather better customer service and overall location but after tonight I will no longer return to this location or other locations. The only shout out I have is for Rylie/Rylee/Riley for amazing customer service at the POS, she is helpful and kind and knows her menu well! read more

Get ready for a long line. I ordered the slider light mild (the least spice, next to no seasoning) and fries. The fries were so delish. But the slider came hot with a spicy sauce on it. I always like to order the less spicy one so I can control my heat, so I was a little disappointed when it came hot. The line was so long I didn't want to go back in and change out. So just check your bag before you drive off. The young man at the drive thru was so delightful and the fries were delish, as to why I'm giving 4 stars. This was my first time trying this place. Was really disappointed. You get a piece of bread that is literally white wonder bread about eighth of an inch thick two pickles and mac & cheese that was basically like soup. A complete disgrace to mac & cheese. Was very excited to try this place and we are glad we did! This style of fried chicken is different- it has a spicy rub on it and it's delicious. Sauce levels out the spicy because it is on the sweeter side. Fries are great and the seasoning is tasty! Love how they add pickles in your meal. This is my new favorite spot! I like it better than Chick-fil-A and canes. I love the spice levels. My favorite was extra hot spicy, but with some saltiness it was awesome and the Dave sauce is very similar to Chick-fil-A sauce. Fries were like canes, but actually crispy and season. I have ordered from here before and the food was always perfect. I placed an online order and picked it up. I ordered a daves #2, 2 slides with fries. However when I got home with the order there were no fries, instead there was macaroni which wasnt good. Looking at the receipt they taped to the bag it doesnt say fries or macaroni. I dont understand why the receipt on the bag doesnt match my online order. Needless to say I am disappointed. The price was a little high but i dont mind as long as the food is good. But with the missing the fries it is a big disappointment and I think next time ill go to canes. Canes is cheaper and they usually dont mess up the order. read more

Went to place an online order from google and said it would be ready in 10 minutes went to the drive though to pick it up the associate greeted me then I said hello I'm here to pick up an order the employee said for future reference pick it up inside and said go to the second window once at the second window I told the employee that in the app it doesn't say to go inside nor drive though then she says we prefer inside because it backs up the line I look behind me and the drive though was dead if your just lazy just say that. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Cane's instead of Dave's. Dave's is more expensive, the chicken is not as good, the special sauce is not as good, their "toast" is just a slice of bread and you have to pay $3.50 more for coleslaw with a meal. Literally the best chicken. Their sandwiches are actually spicy, like to the point where you have to sign a waiver. I was in a lot of pain the next morning but it was totally worth it. The chicken is super crispy and really delicious. Their Mac and cheese is also surprisingly good and helps cool off the heat from the sandwiches. It also tastes good with fries. For some reason the Mac n cheese cheese sauce is way better than their actual cheese sauce so if you want cheese fries I recommend getting a Mac n cheese on the side and using the cheese from that. read more

The hot and extra hot had great heat and flavor. The chicken wasn't dry but still had a good crunch on the skin. I liked the crinkle fries and the sauce went well on the slider. The line moved quick inside and an employee was constantly cleaning the empty tables. Will be back. read more

The chicken at this place is awesome; same with the fries. I recently tried the milkshake for the first time, and without question. This is the absolute most terrible milkshake I have ever had. It taste like they bought a slushy machine, poured in some dehydrated milk, some strawberry nesquick and water. Very icy and terrible. Take those nasty things off your menu, and I'll give you a better review. Or better yet start over and make them with real ingredients. read more

Dave's Hot Chicken has replaced Chick fil A and Canes in my top favorite chicken fast food places to go. They have different levels of how spicy you want your chicken. The "sliders" are not the small appetizer size restaurants usually serve. They are actually the size of a full size chicken sandwich. The seasoning on their fries is awesome. My mouth is watering as I'm writing this review just thinking of how yummy it all was. Can't wait to go back!
