Went for my first time last night and this place was great! I had a no spice chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Not greasy like other chicken places and had the perfect crisp! The fries were great and had a wonderful seasoning! What makes Dave's stand out is the great customer service! I believe the workers name was Dylin B. or something but he was so friendly and helpful! Nashville Hot Chicken. Mostly hype I would say. A few of our party got no spice - which literally meant no spice (not even salt and pepper) very bland? I had the hot sliders which I enjoyed - accurate spice level. The slaw is flavorless and overall the flavor was out of balance. Heat- check, acid - check (pickles), sweet - nada. Seems like the buns are Brioche - but some sweet in that slaw would help balance it all out. The real stand out is the fries - they are really really good. read more

Went through the drive thru, had Dave's hot chicken for the first time ever. The food was great, tastes really good, but both mine and my husband's orders were wrong. They were just not listening to our order. Never got a receipt from when I paid with my card until I got the bag with the food in it with the receipt on it, so I didn't get a chance to correct them. Customer service was just ok. Don't expect to be over the moon or anything, but it felt like we were a major inconvenience to them at the moment. Probably will be a while until I go back. read more

I read a review talking about how it's giving Canes a run for it's money...and I had to try it. So it's not like canes. The spice and the levels of hotness puts it completely different than Canes. The fries are same shape, but have good seasoning on it. Their signature sauce is not as "zingy" as Canes but still good in it's own right. Kinda reminds me of chick fil a sauce. The chicken is good. Thicker batter, more dense. Canes chicken is has lighter batter and I personally like that better. But this is still really good. The kale slaw is really good. I'd eat that over the regular coleslaw from Canes. So all in all they are both good in their own way and own right....it just depends on your preferences with chicken. I'd definitely order this again. With more heat next time! read more

I love a spicy chicken strip and this place has it .. it has various heat levels and love that you can select based on how spicy you like it. I have been to the location as well as ordered delivery. Mom and pops answer to the chain Chick-fil-A that's actually open on sundays you will get good food on certain days today was one of the good days also it looks like they fully staff the place with teenagers that care which is good little mistakes happen every now and again when I go but they seem to be non-existent when I return they use basic bread the "daves sauce" is aight like I said on a good day it will make you wanna go back when you are in the area and hungry but this place is another chicken strips option right in the center of Canes and Chick-fil-A off the Stapley strip of food. :-) read more

Dave's is hands down, the best! Their food is incredible, the staff is great and our orders are always right! The app is super user-friendly and I am amazed how accurate the orders always are. We tend to order for 5-6 people at a time (working in a 9-1-1 dispatcher center) and everyone never complains about the food or accuracy of their order. Everything is fresh and ready when we pick it up. You have to try the tenders with the mac n cheese. It is to die for! I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy and they offer so many different levels of spice that there is something for everyone. Very Clean restaurant and the staff was courteous and helpful. I went at lunch time and there really wasn't a long line. I ordered the two slider combo and waited the 20 minutes it took to prepare my food. So one of the sliders was overcooked and was very dry and the other slider the chicken was nice and juicy? Girl at the counter was short and rude. It felt as if I was bothering her. Chicken was ok and so was the sauce. Not sure if the bread was so supposed be toast but it was just two pieces of white bread laying under the chicken. It was slow to get out to me. I waited over 10 mins for a number 1. The 40 mins I was there, not one table was cleaned by staff. All guest cleaned the tables themselves. I would say head to Caines across a street before coming here. Way better service, clean tables, and by far better chicken. Plus, they offer military discount here. read more

Was excited to try based on the great reviews but am not a fan. I found the food to be excessively salty to the point of being inedible. The seasoning was way overdone on the tenders and fries. The chicken size and quality is far better than the competition across the street, but sadly nobody in the house even finished a full tender due to the excess salt, and most of the meals were trashed which was difficult considering it wasn't cheap. For anyone who isn't overly sensitive to or concerned about sodium intake and loves lots of flavor, this would definitely be a great pick. read more

If you like spice Dave doesn't play! I was pleased the "hot" level was actually spicy. I ordered the 2 tenders and given how spicy it was I should have went with a slider to balance the heat. I'm glad the tenders comes with bread, fries and pickles it makes the meal more put together. The chicken is moist with a nice crunchy breading. I did wish the chicken itself had more flavor other than just spice. I would've also liked it if the Dave's sauce container was filled because the mayo flavor made it more enjoyable, I just needed more. Overall a good meal! read more

I even called the store while sitting there and had to ask the lady on the phone to take my order. Overall the place is entirely unprofessional and the workers are disrespectful and rude.
